“I took my kids to The Hatchetbury for our first time axe throwing, and it was an absolute blast. Axle was our host and he did an amazing job. He went above and beyond working with my kids to help them get the axe to stick. I'd highly recommend this as a fun family activity.“

“Traveling through, found this very nice location for dinner. Great meal. Cajun seared Tuna. Cooked perfectly. My waitress Kaylee(sic) was wonderful. The beer, nice and cold. They could use a little larger selection of beers. Parking is an issue on the square.“
“We were in town from Atlanta for a college tennis match and found this gem! If you want to feel like you are in your best friends backyard with your dog, this is the place for you!!!! Ben and Gino were amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel at home!!! Our 5 month old puppy, Daisy, had the time of her life!!!! Your dog will love it and so will you!!!“

“When you walk in, it is a bit off-putting if you're going for dinner. At first glance, when you walk in, it looks like dark dive bar. Don't get me wrong, I love a dive bar! Just not as a dinner spot. I was wrong!!! The food was completely amazing!!! The truffle fries are a MUST!! So good!! The wings, I got Thai Cilli, were the best! Biggest wings I've had in awhile! If I lived in the area, I'd be a regular! #takemymoney“
“Very nice bar with great decor, very friendly staff, lots of events (trivia, comedy, Drag Shows, concerts...) Very generous happy hour specials, including food (tacos, Burritos, nachos for like five dollars?!) The woodwork on the bar alone is worth stopping in for five minutes to appreciate from an art“
“I absolutely love box car. It is the perfect chill place to go on a pretty weekend day. You can walk around the park, grab a drink, grab a pizza from Humble Woodfire, and enjoy! My favorite thing on their menu is the white sangria. It is SO amazing. Not too sweet. It has a citrusy vibe that makes it really light and refreshing. The red sangria is amazing as well. They have a great selection of IPAs and other beers too. I seriously miss living by this place so much.“

“I’m from Tampa and this place was recommended from a friend. I was skeptical but this place is so quirky and unique. Our server Renh was amazing and made our experience even better! I had the chimichurri steak and nachos… 10/10. Also highly recommend the espresso martini with the house whiskey“
“Great experience seeing Honey Revenge, Pollyanna, Colorblind, and Wreckless Giants. Wonderful concert for a good price. The drinks were solid with good prices for a bar. Would definitely recommend this little hole in the wall if you're in Gainesville. My ONLY complaint is the parking. Maybe it's just because of how popular Honey Revenge is getting, but I would love more options to park at around this location, which I know is not High Dive's fault. The parking lot isn't great, but I'm sure that's enough space for their usual amount of traffic. The bartenders were very pleasant. Good experience.“

“We found this place after an appointment in Gainesville and it WILL BE a regular spot every time we are there! The bartender was hilarious and welcoming, the food was perfect, and the overall experience was top notch! HINT… best onion rings! They have a “Bottle Shoppe” that we didn’t get to visit but plan to in the near future. We got there at their opening for an early lunch before heading home but can see this being a fun place at all hours!“

“Food was good but service was absolutely terrible. Couldn’t get a glass of water to save our lives. Literally had to ask 6 times then had to go to the bar tender. It wasn’t even busy. Server couldn’t pre bus our table either so we sat with dirty dishes all night.“
“Bar is a bit primitive, selling mostly 12oz bottled drinks (people brought their own cozies!) and snax in bags. One very nice ? table. No one was using it so we played one game. Pinball. There were some lit up machines that were possibly Florida lottery terminals. There were two large friendly dogs. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and there were several earnest discussions ongoing. In short, an archtypical sort of cozy local meeting place one would like to frequent. In contrast, Satchel's, across the street, seems sterile and commercial.Non-smokers might be inclined to strip, throw the clothes in the washer and shower on returning home.“

“We've been meaning to get to this place for quite a while now and finally got to do it.Started out with the conch fritters appetizer which was really good. Not the best I've had but pretty good. For dinner I had the coconut shrimp tacos and we're absolutely delicious.I will definitely come back here and bring my friends and family. The service was good about feeling drinks when needed, but the attitude was a little stale. Not many smiles on the face of our server. Can't falter for this because we never know what people are going through at the time so we'll have to see about how it goes next time.“

“Best sandwich joint you'll find in Gainesville! We've been going here for over 15 years, the Italian is our go-to but all their sandwiches are delicious and you can't beat their hefty portions. The only thing I wish they had were a variety kettle chips instead of the small bags of cheeto and lays.“

“Decided to check this place in town out upon yelp search. Restaurant has what I call a traditional Chinese restaurant setup- some round tables that people can see each other with the food in between. We tried some of the recommended foods on the menu and they were good and fresh. Price point here is somewhat higher than other Chinese restaurant in town. We appreciated that our server was attentive to us throughout! Overall, good experience and will come back next time to try more food!“

“There is no place that made Gainesville feel more like home than the Midnight. Go if you always like to have a jukebox in the corner, people around who make you laugh about both the difficult and the absurd and a community that accepts everyone with open arms & full tankards. Punks, hippies and hipsters abound. Challenge them to a game of Scrabble for me? tl;dr: cheap drinks, craft beer, kind people, comedy shows, board games“
“Went to Satchels after the Gator Nationals.Decided to have a few beers at Lightning Salvage while we waited for a table . We ended up staying at LS and having pizza and salad. All very good. Afterwards went exploring thru all the very cool rooms and areas“
“Always my favorite place to play. The crowd is very appreciative and always sings along. If you don't have a way to run your own sound, then you won't be able to perform here. We (a metal band) have played here with a solo country act, and the crowd was wild for both of us.“

“The all you can eat fish and chips (Alaskan Pollack) was very filling (had a total of 5 fillets originally and 4 more). The grouper sandwich was really big and delicious. The fish dip had too much mayo. The fish for the fish and chips was perfectly bread (very light). The hush puppies were so so but definitely not too much onions like other places“

“Great food! Great service! Great atmosphere! The food is delicious and authentic, large portions. Great food takes time to cook, this is not fast food. The quality of the food is worth it. You can dine inside around all the beautiful decor or you can dine outside and enjoy the water view. The staff at this restaurant are amazing, they work hard and go out of their way to meet and exceed expectations.“

“Overall it was a nice experience. In the beginning it took a while for us to be seated even though the restaurant was completely dead. Our waiter was okay, she wasn’t too friendly or attentive.I ordered the quesadilla that comes with chipotle sauce and it was pretty good. It was pretty messy and hard to eat. The rice was really good but the refried beans weren’t my favorite. My boyfriend ordered the birria tacos and he liked them but it wasn’t too big of a portion size in my opinion. The complimentary chips and salsa were pretty good. They are fairly decently priced for a Mexican restaurant“
“Believe it or not the restaurant on the pre-gate side of the airport was spectacular. I had the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had, and I was at the airport! The English muffin sausage egg and cheese was as good as any sandwich but I’ve gotten traveling. Maybe was because I was going on vacation, but I have to say is a great start to a great trip. Thank you ladies; that was delicious.“

“I'm a pretty practical man. This place is just what I needed. 10/10 you GOTTA try to the Coors on tap. It's absolutely delicious and you will never get enough of this place. The wall art is impeccable and the music...well the music is diverse to say the least. Come out for a good time y'all“
“Compared to an ordinary bar tab, this place is economical. The frozen drinks are powerful and if you spend 20 for a refillable cup all you need is 10 to fill it up each time. And to go! I think it's a Godsend and most times all you need is one!“
“If you're looking for a piece of shit hole in the wall, that will let you in and take you as one of their own go to Balls it is a fucking piece of shit. The bathrooms are shitty everything is shitty. The drinks are cheap this fucking graffiti on the wall if you want a Place for cheap drinks at the end of the night where everyone's a friend go to fucking balls it is the best place ever. The only downside is, they don't sell cigarettes, but it's OK because you can go pretty much anywhere else for them so if you have all of your people with you and you wanna have a good time at the end of the night a quiet place to chill. It's shitty and you wanna enjoy your drinks for for cheap go to Balls.“
“I think this place has a little bit of everything for all the tasets. If you want a bar, there are 2 sections for that. If you want to just play games, again, there are 2 rooms with a variety of games . If you want to dance upstairs is a dance floor! The music is overall good, and the drinks are quite well priced!“

“Lovely peaceful outdoor seating. Bar atmosphere inside. Food and wine selection is good. Vast beer selection if you're into that. I like the kale salad, (not so much the Ceasars salad), love the homemade fries, BLT, and fried green tomato sandwich.Parking: They do have a parking lot. Parking might be difficult on a busy day. I've been able to get a spot in the lot during lunch.“
“I never believed it works this way, I was very doubtful about Bitcoin and all other online trading, I decided to risk $1,690 with Mrs Olivia Carlos, after I saw testimonies of people on how good she is but I was very skeptical but she prove me wrong with my first trade and I'm so happy today, so I'm recommending her to everyone of you to invest with her and testify like me. “This location doesn't have food, just drinks, you just walk in and pick your flavors, and you can get multiple ones per drink. I went with the hurricane, eye candy, and strawberry. You can also get different size cups and reusable ones. The smallest size is a good price for the drink. The reusable cups are more expensive, but then you get the refills cheaper. If you were to come here often, it would be a good deal to get one of the reusable ones.“

“There’s good and bad. Nice atmosphere and upbeat place. The food is way overpriced. The wings were the smallest wings I’ve ever seen. Six of them for over $13. No fries unless you pay extra. They have lots of tv’s but don’t plan on listening to anything. They promote MMA fights but it was on one small tv with no sound. It’s a good place to have a family fun night but not friendly for a good reasonable meal, drink and to relax. It’s June and they haven’t posted anything since March 20th.“

“I just moved here from New Orleans and this is one of a very short list of bars that is worth going to. Good atmosphere, shot and a beer kind of a place. No douchie bro squads or high priced drinks. I just wish bars would open earlier here.“
“Best lemon drop martini that I have ever had. The bartender is always really friendly and seems to know what he's doing. He's very consistent with his drinks. The space itself is quite small and doesn't hold a lot of people. There are some tables out at but overall, seating is limited. We will pop in for a couple of drinks before we head out for the night.“

“Burritos are awesome, I love the Gator burrito with a side of the Mango Habenero sauce, even if my body is grumpy in the morning after ?. The atmosphere is great, and the cocktails are tasty (especially when the are on happy hour). The occasional brunch menu is ?Vegetarian options: TVP in a burrito or taco is better than beef in my opinion. Plus beans and rice of course.“

“Excellent service!!! Everyone is so nice and polite from greeting you the second you walk in to the waiters. We went for weekend brunch and it is worth every penny. It's a buffet style but the food quality that's served is top notch. Our favorite were the grits and shrimp and the beef wyagu sliders. They also have this omelette station that my stomach could not fit but I would've loved an omelet. I want to try to make this a monthly thing with friends. Try going the second it opens because it got busy super fast.“
