Our waiter was Alanis and she all BUT gave the BEST tableside service this side of the Trout River!! Food? Bomb! Drinks? Outta site! “My wife and I eat here several times a week. Excellent staff and consistently delicious food. There is literally nothing you can go wrong with on the menu, and the portion sizes are huge! If you’ve never been and are thinking about going, go see them. You will not be disappointed!“

Jacksonville has the worse food of anywhere I've been and this area particularly has terrible food but thank you CowTown Chef back there for actually having restaurant quality food lol.As a minority, you're the only one in there, but the servers seemed neutral- not nice but not nasty so ??‍♀️ eh. “I love this place the bartenders are super friendly and will become lifelong friends they have pool tournaments here thirsty Thursdays shenanigan Saturdays and so many fun activities here it is an awesome place to be. Karaoke is on Fridays and you always want to go to a place where everyone knows your name.“

“We were in Murray Hill picking up our pottery from Jacksonville Pottery Studio (another place I'd recommend!) and decided to stop in as I've been really curious ever since I heard about a Larry's with a pizza restaurant in it. I thought it was going to be two separate restaurants sharing a space, but it's actually all owned by the same people responsible for Larry's! Just like Larry's bread is from NY, the pizza dough is made with NY water so it tastes more authentic! I actually don't really like NY pizza, it's too thin and "floppy" and greasy a lot of the time, but Fired Up pizza was really good and while it still had some "flop" to it, it was much more sturdy! Lol We sat at the bar and from there you can see the pizza cooking in the pizza oven. We saw some wings comes out too that looked realllyyy good!Service at the bar was good! They were nice and told us sort of the history of the Larry's people deciding to start a pizza restaurant. Food came out quickly too! I'm currently eating the leftovers for lunch, so I can attest it's still good the next day reheated in the toaster oven!“

“This place was absolutely my vibe. It was a small bar with a long bar top, plenty of televisions to watch football on. They had great mystic playing, it was not crowded, and the bartender was funny and attentive. There is nothing I love more in a bar than televisions and funny employees. Not sure if they had food since I wasn't particularly looking to eat while I was here.“

“I’ve come to Carmine’s on several occasions while visiting Jacksonville. Every time I’ve ordered something different from the menu and each time it’s phenomenal. The Chicago style pizza is amazing and so is the nyc style crust. Literally cannot go wrong with anything here. And the service is excellent. Everyone is personable and friendly. Observing them interact with customers, it’s clear many patrons are regulars and on a first name basis with the staff.“

“Huge bar in a strip mall. Decent prices. Friendly bartender. Pretty loud and boisterous, especially on a Thursday trivia night. I was looking forward to trying a Rabbit Hole Bourbon but they were out. I had a Forester instead, and it was either mislabeled or old or something, but it was sickly sweet. I told the bartender I had no problem paying for it, but it was awful and bring me something else please. She was awesome and brought me a Tullamore Dew for free. Place a little loud to meet anyone. Food looked decent. I will be back, especially since it's no smoking. The parking lot is a mess.“

“This place is good with excellent customer service, that's why I give it 4 Stars. Their new name is Tipsy. The staff is always pleasant. There is a lot of room for improvement. The bathroom is nasty, the pool table is horrible and need new felt and the food is overpriced.“

“We eat here regularly and the food coming out of the kitchen is always great. Looks good, tastes good. Ample portions. Inviting neighborhood atmosphere. Great staff make it fun to hang out. Excellent drinks and a good selection of wines and beers. Reasonably priced. The daily specials menu is varied and delectable. Always something new to try with confidence that it will be delightful. The grilled chicken wings are the best in Jville. Yummo.“

“I love that this place is right around the corner from my house. I used to avoid it b/c there was an individual working there that I didn't care for, but once I heard that this person was no longer there I knew we had to stop by and have a few drinks. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they also serve food. We sampled a few different items that day and I don't really recall all of them, but I do remember the empanadas...they were fantastic! I would definitely order those again. All and all this place is great. Locally owned, which I love to support. And has a pretty good staff of people working there now as well.“
