“This is one of my favorite chain chicken places. They’re generous with their seasoning and the sauce is good. In this visit they gave us free food, so a plus for me. I like the spice level and how you can choose it, even if the spiciness is inconsistent. The drink is pretty expensive though.“

“I used this location for some catering. I almost immediately received an email from their catering manager letting me know how to pick up my order. I also received a phone call at my pickup time. A gentleman walked out my entire order to the car (He appeared to be a manager. I'm sorry I missed his name). He double-checked the order and I made sure that I had everything. The food was hot and everything was as promised.“

“I stopped to get me some food and had to use the 🚻. Man, I have issues using public 🚻, but this one was actually clean, with toilet seat covers.

“I started going to Athena’s when my son and family first moved to Maitland over 17 years ago. Since 2018 I went there at least once a week. Having to move back to Connecticut, I miss their chicken so much. My grandchildren know when I come to visit that is the first place I stop to eat. Their chicken is always so delicious and moist. “If you want to have a very affordable fresh food , this is the place , we just had the $25 whole chicken with 2 sides and the house fried rice $14 paying $42 total and divided it for 4 people at home more than enough and very delicious, the cilantro garlic sauce and the creamy garlic both addictive. “First visit at this location and for this chain. The food was excellent and the portions were huge. The area for sauces and sodas was clean and organized and the manager that took the order was friendly and attentive as well as the rest of the staff. We will definitely make more visits now that we know we have a really good Peruvian (Latino style) quick service chain nearby. I would have taken a picture of the food but it smelled so good I forgot to take one as I just dove right in. We ordered 3 complete specials and it cost approx $51. Well worth it in my opinion as 4 of us ate very well off those 3 plates.“

“Let me tell you something… these Korean wings are on a different level. Like, seriously. I’ve tried plenty of Korean-style wings from different spots, and bb.q Chicken just walked in, kicked the door down, and claimed a spot in my Top 5 without even trying.
The wings arrived perfectly crispy, and coated in that flavor-packed sauce that hits you with sweet, spicy, crunchy goodness all at the same time. You know that moment when you pause mid-bite to appreciate life? Yeah, that happened. More than once. You can tell they take their wings seriously... and I respect that.

“Food is so good, got to-go food on our way out of town. Went in right when they opened (which I don't like doing), but they were really nice and did not wait long at all for the food. Will definitely go again if in the area or see one somewhere else!!
We both had the chicken sandwich with medium sauce which had a little kick to it but not too hot. Sauce is delicious!!
Place has a cute vibe inside, service was great! Prices are about the same as typical fast food prices but quality of food was great.“

“02/27/2026 @ 8:13 pm - This is our first visit to this location. My son and I came here after a high school track meet. The restaurant appears to be fairly new. It was clean, free from trash debris and the restrooms were clean. We ordered the Caniac Combo and 2 Box Combos. The chicken tenders were fresh , juicy and fried just right. The bread size was smaller than usual, but the taste is larger than life. We have never had a bad meal at a Raising Cane restaurant, but this time the french fries were not at all Raising Cane status. Hence, the reason for 3 stars. They were small french fries, the texture was dry and the portion was unusually small compared to other locations. It was late at night. I should have noted it to the manager, but we did finish our meals and no one left hungry. If I am every back in the area I would give them another try. - I did not take photos.“

Ordered a 1/4 chicken platter and a boneless platter with white rice and black beans, plus fried yuca and plantains — everything was fresh, hot, and full of flavor.
