“District South is the perfect place in a convenient South Tampa location for brunch, lunch and dinner. The menu is full of outstanding dishes for every appetite and combined with a full bar it makes for an outstanding visit. The staff are all superb, professional and friendly, to include Daniela P. who served us recently. Daniela's menu recommendations were perfect and on-point to say the least! We cannot wait to visit again and highly recommend this location to everyone!“

“Went for the $9.99 deal for burgers and they were cooked perfectly just like ordered. I ordered something new this time, I got the Bourbon Street Mushroom Swiss Burger, 10/10 recommend, very tasteful and juicy. and it was well worth the trip and the price was right. The server was great too, we got everything just like we asked. !“

“We ordered 2 burgers, yuca fries and empanadas. The burgers and the vegetables on the burgers were all very fresh. The empanadas were a favorite and only recommendation I have for the yuca fries is to add a sauce with them.
Great atmosphere but it did take a while to get our food. Order ahead to save from waiting.“

“A wonderful experience enhanced by Zoey who was an outstanding frontline ambassador for expected service and care. I ventured away from my usual Thai Bowl and tried the Big Italy with crispy chicken and spaghetti squash. Dang…was it good! Portions were sufficient, well-prepared and proudly served. This selection might just become my favorite at Cali’s. Granted, the staff consists of young adults who are, in the least, committed to going to work to earn their pay. Their attitude is encouraging. Some of the comments posted may not be fair. One has to allow opportunity for on-the-spot redress of an actual or perceived wrong (the menu is self-explanatory or can be clarified by simply asking). No matter - this was not our first time at Cali’s and definitely not the last. We look forward to our next visit and selections. Thank you … Zoey (and staff) for another great “Cali experience!”“

“They have the best food. My daughter who lives in Arizona where there are so many Mexican restaurants says she misses S & S tacos and hot sauce. I have to agree with her. I love the enchiladas and their hot sauce. Stella whom works there is the best!!!!!!! She is like family. The cook who works with her is great also. This is a small business. Please support them.“

“Our waitress Madison C was wonderful! Attentive, very polite and friendly! Then the food was DELICIOUS! I literally had THE BEST Burger I have had in my lifetime! I chose to make my own. I don’t know if it was the Angus Beef, the DELICIOUS smoked bacon that was cooked with the ends crispy and blackened, or the delicious grilled onions and mushrooms. But I WILL be back and getting this again!! Definitely!!“

“This is our first experience with mama‘s kitchen, we just moved to Tampa. I have to say that the customer service was very exceptional. In a world that rarely has it anymore, I want to give recognition and appreciative to Vicky, Teddy, and Katerina, Very friendly, very personable, and the customer service level that I miss. “First time going there at the bartender young lady was amazing everything came out cold as ice to drink! The food was amazing highly recommend the gator bites and the grouper nuggets.... if you are a smoker you can smoke outside and inside the place is very clean I am definitely coming back very reasonable price an amazing scenery“

“Love the comfy chairs at the Riverview location! I came in for a solo breakfast and great service by Hunter even before I sat at the table. Once the hostess took me to my table I let her know I needed to use the restroom and by the time I got back Hunter already had a Glass of ice water and coffee at the table which I really thought was great since sometimes you have to wait a bit for just a glass of water. I spent 19 years in hospitality mainly managing and I watched Hunter interact with his tables and I can see Hunter is a great server; anticipating guest needs, making genuine connections and food suggestions. After COVID the hospitality industry has been having a rough time finding good workers and I think this location nailed it with Hunter.“

“Had dinner here and ordered the meatloaf and ribs. The meatloaf was surprisingly good🤤 i told my husband I never thought meatloaf could be this good. Ribs was ok. The sliders for kids were good too, my son ate all his food.👌 Will come back again to get those meatloaf for sure😋 forgot to take pictures, that's how excited we were to eat our food😅“

“We really enjoy Trivia Night. However, service is poor. We visit every Wednesday with our family. This past week was the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I was alone for a bit this week and had my laptop and books spread out on the table. It was impossible not to notice my setup. The waitress had one other table and it was right next to me. I waited over 30 minutes before going inside and ordering a drink. She said she didn’t see me. We made eye contact multiple times. I’m sure she probably thought the big party was a big tip. However, the rest of my family was joining me. We tip well, so definitely her loss.“
