“Yum, Yum, Yum! I was invited to lunch at Papa Diesel's Restaurant on my visit to Apopka, FL. From the moment I entered the restaurant, the entire experience was a treat. A friendly family atmosphere greeted me at the door, with the added touch of care that was immaculately given to every detail. The aroma from the kitchen activated my taste buds, as I stared mesmerized by the extensive menu. Finally, I decided to go for the “Diesel Sampler”. The brisket was so succulent that it melted in my mouth. The ribs fell from the bone with such flavor that no sauce was necessary—the pulled pork I used to sample the homemade sauces. As I was told, the sauces will soon be available in the local supermarkets (as I can attest to becoming a family staple). Needless to say, the sausage, chicken, and sides all met with the same flavorful standards. Ending my meal with a dessert, I enjoyed the peach cobbler and shared a nibble of key lime cake with my date. It was an enjoyable afternoon, sharing special time with loved ones in a loving environment, dining on food prepared by Papa Diesel, who loves to cook for folks, and making them feel at home!“

“Since moving to the area from Chicago, we've been looking for some great BBQ. We've found it at Willy's! Ribs and pulled pork were very good and so flavorful that you didn't need any sauce. But the sauce and sides complimented the meat. We will be back.“

“This place is hidden inside a little gas station. The portions are generous! The ribs are fall off the bone with some of the best bbq sauce evah! Finger licking for sure! The brisket was moist and smoked perfectly! Now let’s talk sides....collard greens are smokey and delicious, Mac n cheese is on point! I can’t wait to get for sum chicken and key lime cake! 😋“

“I ate there for the first time and my I add I spent 23.00 which I wasn't complaining about but I ordered the pulled chicken quesadillas, to start I have no idea what cheese it was made with but the cheese did not blend or mix well when melting the tortilla shell and I guess to avoid the burning issue they took it out but it looked like fake cheese with a little bit of chicken here and there. no sour cream no salsa. OK. then I ordered the maccaroni and cheese... that looked luke kraft Mac and cheese out the box and seemed to havr been made with a powder product cheese and not real cheese either. then I also added corn bread which I didn't see it was jalapeño cornbread. I was immediately taken aback by peppers in the cornbread. I guess that is a south thing. not too bad just not my cup of tea. and lastly the baked beans they were ok not bad but for the entire meal I had to put it in the garbage I couldn't eat that at all. I wouldn't recommend and I will not be going back either. the picture is me trying to eat the quesadilla without the nasty looking cheese on it and even that didn't save it.“

My husband and I stopped at this place so calmed so peaceful. Ordered half slab dinner plate was so tasty. Met with Pastors Scott and Leoner his wife. Holy Spirit brought word to brother Freddy, Mother of church and the youth. God sees and knows everything and besides the food being blessed know brother Freddy is missionary work God is preparing your way in Jesus name. Amen

We will be waiting for confirmation of fellowship for Holy Spirit to move with youth too and help each other out in the Body of Christ Amen

“I ate at the Tavares location for lunch yesterday and had the chopped pork sandwich with fries and sweet tea. Amazing!! Tonight I got the brisket sandwich with mac and cheese and baked beans… even more amazing!! Best brisket I have ever had! Mac and cheese was amazing!! Sweet tea was amazing also! Highly recommend!!“

“I am so happy that my favorite tofu stew place was open for lunch. Got to see Cherry and her sons who are the owners. Kevin, Jericho and Jerome are the three brothers that run this place. They are the nicest family run restaurant. I love how generous they are and how hard they work everyday. I’ve frequent here with my family for awhile. They have the best tofu soup. I always go with the assorted tofu soup and their popular stone bowled bibim bop. They also have really good galbi (marinated steak) and variety of side dishes. All their veggies are fresh and their dishes are authentic Korean. I love it so much! Thank you for making my day!“
