“This place is incredable! I got their award winning clam chowder - best I've ever had.
The blackened seafood platter is in the same catagory - the scallops were cooked to perfection as were the shrimp and fish.
I brought a quart of the chowder home and picked up two cans (Tony's Clam Chowder) at Publix.

They do need to alter their recipe for the Poke Stack.....it's all fresh, but had a huge top layer of wonton and thick bottom layer of rice, making the whole thing really dry. “This is a little diner in a shopping plaza which seemed odd for a seafood place, but hey it works! There were 3 of us. One ordered the haddock fish sandwich basket with grits & cheese & an upcharge of sweet potato fries. It came with 2 hushpuppies & coleslaw. The sandwich bread was really too thick, but all was good, no complaints. Another ordered the catfish basket with fries and it came with hushpuppies & coleslaw, he ordered fries and baked beans for sides. He didn't personally care for the beans, but nothing was really wrong with them, just personal preference. I ordered the trio platter with fish, oysters & shrimp. They came with several onion rings, perfectly cooked, hush puppies & coleslaw. I ordered grits & cheese & apple juice steamed carrots. I am a carrot lover, never met a carrot I didn't like, until today. They would be a pass for me in the future. The shrimp was just a minute(ish) overcooked giving it a tougher chew but had good flavor. The fish & oysters were totally on point, delicious & cooked perfectly. The oysters were decent size & plump. I enjoyed them. Both of us who had grits & cheese really liked them, they were perfect. We had no coleslaw eaters in the group, thus we have no rating on that. I was the only one who eats hushpuppies, they were really good. I didn't care for the sweet tea, at all, compared to most southern style sweet tea, it just wasn't good.

So, overall we liked everything but it wasn't anything to make us run back for more. Still, if we were in the area, I would go back.

It felt a bit pricey for lunch & the atmosphere, but they have rent and other bills to pay, too. Overall it was a solid meal, not perfect, but good. Important to note, we came in pretty late for a lunch and way too early for dinner. We were seated and tended to immediately. No one else was dining at the time. Drinks were brought very fast. She offered to take orders right away, yet gave us time to review the menu instead, and she answered several questions for us.

The server was excellent, accommodating and had a good sense of humor. She tolerated my husband's sarcastic the spirit intended and she was funny, too. They have plenty of great parking & weren't in the messy mix of the walking parts of Mt Dora. Check them out if you are in the area.“

“It's a great take-out spot for 'boil' style seafood. I love Franks! I like the shrimp combo with potato, cob-corn and boiled egg. If they have lobster tail, grab that too! My sister loves the crab legs.

I've been going here for about nine years now and it's always clean and the family staff are super friendly. The area has some character, but don't let that dissuade you from stopping in. Just be sure not to let your bags tilt on the way home or you'll spill some butter.“

“I was visiting Orlando last weekend, and just started turning corners. I pulled into the gas station in Ocoee, saw the food truck, and decided to check it out. I am so glad I did. I ordered the conch fritters and cracked conch with pigeon peas and rice. The conch fritters were a bit greasy but delicious. In every bite, I was able to taste the herbs as well as the conch. The sauce was amazing. The marrying of the flavors in the conch fritters and the sauce was divine. The cracked conch was perfectly fried, and the pigeon peas and rice was tasty. The next time I'm in the greater Orlando area, I will be returning.“

“After my wife's surgery follow-up appointment today, she decided on authentic Greek cuisine as her "lollipop" for withstanding more poking & prodding. Curious about how Mykonos/Longwood would stand up to Hellas in Tarpon Springs, we ventured in. Greeted by a smiling employee we were soon seated and looking over the menu. From the time we sat, Morgan our server was excellent. Cheerful, attentive, and very polite, she treated us like we were royalty. Our appetizer was fried zucchini, very good. The rice soup and salad was perfect. When Morgan brought the entrees of lamb chops & pastitsio - we knew we had to order some for the next two days at home! Everything was fantastic. And we didn't have to go to Tarpon Springs! Instead we found our Greek home food, right here in Longwood. Be sure to ask for Morgan! And hats off to the chef!“

“We had a great experience at this Chinese restaurant and tried the Dim Sum, which is served all day. The food came out hot and fresh, and everything we ordered tasted amazing.
We tried Siu Mai, Pork Ribs w Black Bean Sauce, Steamed Roast Pork Buns, Crispy Shrimp Wonton, Green Onion Pancake, Shrimp Stuffed Eggplant, Singapore Mei Fun, Egg Custards & Jasmine Green Tea.

“Been eating here for around 15 years now. The negative reviews are probably from rude people. I have enjoy the same food from 3 different ownerships now and it's consistently good.
