“Amazing service and team is absolutely amazing“

“The food was fresh and chicken not dry..the plaintains were fresh and not burned or overcooked..This Pollo Tropical BETTER than North Miami Beach and even better than Sunny Isles..Areas were clean (it was 7pm).. I had stopped coming to Pollo Tropical after going to the North.Miami beach and Sunny Isles only to find there dry chicken, VERY unclean bathrooms..“

“I’ve come to this restaurant twice and ordered the same thing. (I like to make sure what I call order isn't a “hit or miss,” so I want to order it 2-3 times to ensure it's good.)

1st time was my own, and 2nd time was when I recommended it to my friends and family.

I told them, let's get the “Mad fries.” they loved it and wanted to come back… not only that, but it's worth the money. It's a nice big plate you can share with one person, and I'm a big guy. I am satisfied with half, so it's worth the price.

Now, the only reason I rate four stars is because I can't rate 4 1/2. It's a fantastic restaurant with great food, excellent customer service, and affordable pricing. You can taste and feel the authenticity of this place.

But their drinks are a little out of taste. The fountain drinks either lack gas or syrup, have too much syrup, or taste weird. Their drinks, like lemonade and juices, are also lacking in taste. The cups are huge, but we can definitely say size doesn't matter if the soda tastes weird. ?

Overall, it's a great place and worth the try. I hope you guys enjoy it!

Parking: They have a small parking lot next to them going down on south federal Highway, but right next to them is a pizza spot called “John” or “Jim” Pizza. I can't recall the name, but I sometimes park there since service is typically fast.“

Staff is friendly and attentive. I’ve had almost everything on the menu and everything is of high quality and very good, especially considering it’s a fast food joint. The Crispy chicken Mediterranean Salad with hummus is really good. Chicken is always fresh and tender. Stay away from the cookies as they are so good, they are ADDICTIVE! “The food is good but the people is a different story, I when to purchase a 14 piece meal for my kids and my self. and I was doing a favor for a friend, since I was going for my self, as he asked me to buy for her a 5 piece meal, everything was OK until a lady came to the register ( think it was the manager) I was using a coupon for each of the meals, I explained to her that one was for my home and the other one was for a friend but she kept saying I only can used one, again I explained that it was not for me the small meal why I'm going to get a 5 piece of I already was getting 14 pieces. just make to separate orders, but this small minded woman keep repeating her self that I can't, if my friend was there she still will have to do a second order... So no I will not recommend the location on 54st Northwest between 12th and 11th Avenue. they are rude and unprofessional... The old manager, was a kind an friendly lady. Train your management more than your cashiers... Their title goes over the heads. I'm going to Boston Market... even Popeyes is better...“

If you are American, sometimes you need this comfort food (we invented fried chicken). They seem to know their business, too, because I ordered through Postmates because I had a deal ($10 off $15 order) and they didn't give me the biggest, juiciest breast. But it seems that they are using a lower quality rice, and some of their meats have been overcooked like their chicken these days. Their plantains are still amazing, but I would recommend they look into some of their products quality.“
