“Found this place while searching for a Japanese/Thai restaurant in the area, the restaurant looks kind of outdated, the food was good, the best for me was the vegetable fried rice, lots of flavor and crispy veggies, the yakisoba was just ok, not a lot of flavor and the shrimp was overcooked, hard , dry and lacking flavor. Server was friendly but did not come ti the table unless called. Mixed outcome, try it if you want.“

“This was a unique kosher dining experience. The vibe and ambiance was amazing. The staff were knowledgeable, attentive and helpful, not hovering but there as soon as you need them. Cocktails were uniquely presented, original and delicious. The food, where do I start. It is obvious that the chef(s) take a lot of pride in their food. From presentation to the complex and delicious flavors. The turkey wrapped dates were out of this world. I have read other reviews and don’t understand the complaints about portion size and price. The portion sizes were perfect not too much where you are full after one dish and not too small leaving you craving more. Kudos to all of the staff. This is not a cheap family restaurant but you are definitely getting value in the food and experience. Excited to come back and taste more of the incredible menu.“

“Not a big sushi eater so I went for the experience. It is a soeakeasy, so that was cool. The food was good overall. The service started out strong but then slowed down drastically, I'm not sure why. We were there for 3+ hours, so keep that in mind. Besides that I thoroughly enjoyed the vibes and ambiance of the establishment.“

“After a movie at the AMC Aventura Theater, I decided to stop by Sushi Siam for dinner, drawn in by their $10 drinks, including caipirinhas...my favorite! Sushi Siam offers an inviting Asian fusion vibe, with a beautiful ambiance that’s perfect for a date night, catching up with friends, or enjoying a meal while shopping at the mall.

I decided to sit at the bar and tried the highly recommended Beauty & The Beast Roll. This roll featured half tuna and half eel, paired with scallions, avocado, asparagus, masago, and topped with eel sauce. It was absolutely delicious, and I was impressed by the freshness and quality of the ingredients.

I’m looking forward to returning soon to explore more of their menu. I noticed they even offer hibachi, which I’m excited to try!“

“Celebrated a birthday dinner with them last night. The food & service couldn't have been better. The "Out of Control" raw sushi roll was out of this world. I'm excited to return soon, especially for lunch since our spa is so close. They actually helped solve a problem for me too without knowing it. My clients often find out I'm a former mega yacht chef and quiz me for dining options. I cringe because I'm very reluctant to give master chef level recommendations with such a plethora of ever changing restaurants, price points and service levels. My taste always leans to super fresh, fun, spicy ethnic-ish foods with bold flavors that you probably don't have to mortgage your house to afford. I'll worry no more as you'd be hard pressed not to find something you like on their abundant menu... even if sushi isn't your thing. Don't hesitate.“

“Shokudo is one of my go-to spots for Japanese food. Their nigiri is always fresh and delicious, and the tempura shrimp is perfectly crispy without being heavy. Every time we come here, the food is consistently good.

It’s also a great value for money—you get high quality without breaking the bank. We come often and it’s become one of our favorite regular spots.“

“The first time I went to Ogawa, it was on a fluke at the suggestion of a friend of mine who had been there before. I had no idea what to expect. I walked into a very petite intimate restaurant with only. 11 seats. The experience from start to finish was extraordinary. As a New Yorker, who is also in the hospitality business, I have high standards especially around sushi and Japanese cuisine. The food, wine and sake pairings and attention to detail were outstanding. Each course was better than the next. We met the sushi chef, the culinary chef and the owner. “I would not just recommend this place I would come out of my way again in a heartbeat. It is so relieving to actually find a place that has great service again. I feel after the pandemic, it's really changed the service force. It was such a fresh breath of air to have such an amazing time and service! I had a party of 11 of us for my birthday, and we were treated with smiles, and taken care of like kings. The food was phenomenal! Some of the most beautiful, fresh seafood I have ever had in my entire life. I've been traveling seven years full-time, and I will definitely be coming back just to eat here! The patio is absolutely gorgeous! It will soon be right on the ocean once they are finishing some construction! While I waited in my car checking my emails one of the guys came to bring me the food to my car!!!! “It's been a while since I've had top-level sushi. Fitting it was at Chef David's other restaurant, Sushi By Bou. This omakase was a very relaxed 2 hour seating, with remarkable views of the ocean and the north Miami skyline. I found myself thrown back in my chair with the incredible layered flavors of the almost never-ending fresh fish. The cocktails were nuanced, and the atmosphere was filled with pure happiness. I'll definitely find myself coming back here often!“

I'd recommend the Combo 2. It's a large amount of sushi for a reasonable price. If you are hosting a date for 2 at home and want a lot that you can make 2 large plates from its exactly what I'd recommend.

For a group I'd get the larger Combo or 2 of the #2.“
