“I was in town for a quick visit and I am so glad this was my dinner stop. The ambiance is great! It’s very quiet and well decorated. The seating is supportive of any kind of nice dinner you’d like to have with others—from business meetings to dates. Our waiter was really helpful in walking us through the menu and made great recommendations both in dishes not to miss and what was a reasonable amount of food. The cocktails were solid and varied enough that there was something for everyone. The mushroom in brown butter sauce and the lobster Alfredo are both stand out dishes not to be missed. This one is definitely worth your time.“

“I recently enjoyed dining again at Sushi Bichi, a casual culinary experience that exceeded all my expectations. The outdoor atmosphere and festive diners perfectly combined for an early Saturday dinner. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for the rest of the visit. The sushi at Sushi Bichi is nothing short of spectacular. Each piece is a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The freshness of the fish is evident in every bite, and the skill of the sushi chefs is truly impressive. Whether traditional or creative rolls, each dish is a delightful surprise for the taste buds. I enjoyed the yellowtail and the crispy rice, which were more than enough to fill me up. In addition to the fantastic sushi, Sushi Bichi's drink selection was excellent. The Watermelon cocktail is delicious (and packs a punch). The sake menu was extensive, offering a variety of choices to complement the meal perfectly if that is your thing. I particularly enjoyed the recommendations from the knowledgeable staff, who were attentive and friendly throughout the evening. The bar was very busy and lively at 5 pm, so I would recommend it for post-beach (which is within walking distance) or after-work cocktails. Overall, my two experiences at Sushi Bichi were flawless. The combination of exceptional sushi, excellent drinks, and top-notch service makes this restaurant a true gem in Japanese cuisine. The locals love this place, so give it a try. I highly recommend Sushi Bichi to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. This is a place for casual fun and excellent sushi, whether you're alone or with a group. You will feel welcomed and make sure to come hungry. Reservations recommended.“

“Faux-makase! (Fake omakase) is exactly what it is. Self proclaimed “non traditional omakase.” Also know as slow-makase. Nossa deserves a noose-a. I was recommended this restaurant by my hotel concierge. Had a horrible experience here. Should have known since they require pre-payment online via tock which actually codes as professional services and not a restaurant so they avoid the credit card fees. By the way, they will ask you to pay a ridiculous and mandatory 20% service charge plus tax after your “meal.” After payment, you will receive an email which says “The day of your reservation you will receive an email with instructions to access to the speakeasy bar.” However, I never received any email. I put nossa into google and it took me to the filthy, run down Hyatt centric hotel. I went inside and asked where the restaurant was and they took me through a stinky alley next to the hotel trash room said to knock the door. This made me extremely uncomfortable and almost decided to just leave. Little did I know the horror I was about to experience. I knocked the door and a lady asked for the password so I gave my last name on the reservation. She didn’t open and kept asking for a password. I demanded she open the door and gave my last name on the reservation. She said I should have received instructions on a paper from another restaurant on the other side of the street which I was not informed of. She said I was late and that they already started so she showed me to my seat. The room felt like a sewer with too many people crammed around a dirty scratched up bar. I was in group 11 which means there were at least 20 guests there. The music was horrendous and unbearable. The ambiance was very creepy. The staff smelled really bad. I was offered a welcome drink which I opted for a sparking water which was not sparking at all as it was flat without bubbles so they brought me a bottle instead. They didn’t ask about any allergies and handed me the first course which I had to spit out because it contained alcohol which I don’t drink. The chef kept inaudibly shouting out the descriptions of the dishes for each course towards different corners of the room in an attempt for everyone to hear but you only hear and understand the words which were said in your direction. All the ingredients were old and not fresh. The food did not taste good. The portions were tiny so don’t think you’ll be full when you leave here by any means. The place is extremely unsanitary. The chef even wipes your plates using the same towel as the previous groups one after another. I was absolutely disgusted. Finally the last course came and again I was served alcohol without being told what it was. Luckily the chef caught it before I could drink it and replaced it with iced tea. I asked if we’re were finished and she said yes. The experience was a complete waste of time so we were happy to walk out and leave. The lady chased us on our way out and said there was an additional payment to be made for gratuity and tax. I asked if this was mandatory and she answered yes. Mind you this was never communicated before. She also said she didn’t have a wireless credit card machine so I gave her my physical card to go swipe and come back. The chef came out, handed me my receipt and credit card then asked: “Is there a reason why you’re unhappy.” I answered: Yes, I didn’t enjoy the experience. He shrugged his shoulders and replied: “I’m sorry but unfortunately not everybody does, I guess” I was shocked and just stormed out. Exit left next to the trash room, literally.“

“Chef Kevin is the man! I wanted to try a new sushi place so l randomly found this one. Based on the pictures and reviews I decided to stop by, beyond happy that I did.Imagine not being able to make up your mind on what to order and then the chef himself comes to help you? Well that's exactly what happened haha.Chef Kevin helped me narrow down from all their delicious options and they were all pretty good. Yes, it tastes as good as it looks. I wish I could remember the names of the rolls right now but I can't ooops. Just show them the pics and they should be able to figure it out. It's located inside a condo/apartment complex in Miami Beach...not the place you'd think has amazing sushi but it does.Service was fast and professional. The restaurant is self was clean too and prices reasonable for the location. You can validate your parking ticket so you only pay about $3 for valet. Make sure to do it before leaving the restaurant.Overall such an awesome place and positive vibe. I loved my whole entire experience and can't wait to stop by again!“

Definitely try to scallop and the chutoro nigiri. I never thought I'd enjoy uni, but the uni pasta here slaps. It was creamy, rich, and had the perfect balance of flavors. And just when I thought it couldn't get any better, the Matcha Tiramisu blew me away. It was the perfect ending to an already amazing meal. The service was impeccable. I asked Clarine what are some popular cocktails according to what she has seen her guests select. She pointed to the Sawayaka. It was delicious and fit for edging off a hard day at work. The one thing I was unaware of is that the venue has an entertainer, the lady who danced with fire, and the DJ. “The place is amazing, especially for the price. My only complaint is that the chef needs to pay more attention. He likes to use the wrong type of fish. I live down the road and eat there all the time, and it happens more often than it should, but it's still good and I'm sure if I walked back they would fix it because they always have amazing service.Ps. They use real crab in their California roll. It's really good, but it definitely threw me off when I first took a bite, lolDietary restrictions: They do ask, and they have warned me when I tried to order something I can't eat, but definitely check the order if you're doing take out because the chef is a wreck and doesn't pay attention.I can't eat anything spicy, and one time, he covered all of my sushi rolls in spicy mayo.... I ate it anyway.... I got very sick lol“

Upon arriving at the hostess desk, we were met by Marilyn and two other women who were also very pleasant. No waiting; we were escorted right to our table. And the place is beautiful, maybe more than anything else on the beach. Antoine, our server, was great and very attentive. He also had a partner clearing tables and filling water glasses. I must say you didn't need to look for anything or anyone. The food was amazing, from my wife's scallops to my 16-oz boneless ribeye.
