That being said, the drink service provided by the restaurant staff was vastly lacking. My wife and I received our drinks during the last course of the meal, after receiving two rounds of drinks that were wrong orders. Fortunately the sushi and chefs made up for the dehydration.“

“I live almost across from this place but only recently tried it when a friend was in town. It’s easily my favorite SoBe restaurant now! I loved the chill and cozy atmosphere and the service was absolutely top-notch. The manager/owner was there and chatted with us and was so kind, as was our waitress. A lot of SoBe restaurants just treat you like a tourist they want to milk but this place was so different, it was very genuine and they clearly really care about their customers. I’m a vegetarian and there was a surprising amount of options on the menu for me - I especially loved the veggie rolls and avocado crispy rice! We ordered off both the happy hour and regular menu, the prices on both were excellent. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming here a lot in the future!“

“Best Omakase we have had in the US. Chef Erik brings new meaning to the experience — the creativity of his preparation and flavors he brings to every bite is like no other. I don't like Uni and i loved it here for the first time. Talented, great personality and made my husband's birthday really special. We will be back. This is by the way a soace that holds 6 seats and it was just the 2 of us that night. Sake selection is also impressive.“

“I would not just recommend this place I would come out of my way again in a heartbeat. It is so relieving to actually find a place that has great service again. I feel after the pandemic, it's really changed the service force. It was such a fresh breath of air to have such an amazing time and service! I had a party of 11 of us for my birthday, and we were treated with smiles, and taken care of like kings. The food was phenomenal! Some of the most beautiful, fresh seafood I have ever had in my entire life. I've been traveling seven years full-time, and I will definitely be coming back just to eat here! The patio is absolutely gorgeous! It will soon be right on the ocean once they are finishing some construction! “This was my second visit to Sando Miami, and while it was a decent experience overall, there are definitely a few areas that could be improved.

This time around, I tried the pork Japanese curry and the chicken katsu. The curry was a solid 4/5, good, but nothing particularly memorable. Personally, I would have liked a bit more spice, but that comes down to preference. What stood out more to me was the portion size. It leaned on the small-to-medium side, and at $23, it felt a bit overpriced for what you get.

The chicken katsu was more reasonably priced, but unfortunately, it missed the mark. The sandwich was dripping oil, which took away from the overall experience and made it feel heavier than it should be.

All in all, Sando Miami is a decent option, but with a few adjustments, especially on portion value and execution, it could be much better.“

“Nice hotel in Miami beach. Room was great, as was the beach and Nobu swimming pool (the other pools shared with Eden Roc have uncomfortable beds, but Nobu pool has much better beds). Front desk and bell services were excellent. Shared lobby with Eden Roc makes it less special than other Nobu hotels, but didn't really bother me.“
