“I cannot begin to explain how amazing this place is. Not only was the sushi the freshest I've had, but it was also the most delicious. Sonia and Rosa were absolutely amazing, not only did they provide excellent service, but they were also incredibly kind and thoughtful.

Temaki is the perfect combination of a small, family business and an absolutely stellar dining experience. My girlfriend and I absolutely loved it.

“best japanese food i’ve ever had in my life. anyone who says differently is LYING, and that one reviewer who commented about the cooks having “snotty” attitude were most likely lying. the guys who work here have some of the best personalities, and they accommodate to a lot of preferences. so, moral of the story is don’t be a hard @ss and workers won’t give you a hard time :) 10/10, and i’m a semi picky eater. SO GOOD. EVERYTHING 10/10. best teriyaki chicken, veggies, rice, noodles, and crab rangoons 💗 i wish them the best success and more to come.“

“Fantastic overall experience. They don’t have a lot of variety in the dishes so I can see how others can be upset about that, but for me every dish was amazing.

The only flaw was there was zero explanation of the dishes, origins of the fish, flavor profiles, etc. they just made the dishes and gave it to you. For those who have been to other omakases, there is usually a detailed presentation behind every dish which makes the experience so much better because you actually get to understand what makes the dish special.“

“I had an excellent experience. The atmosphere was great, but what really stood out was the service. Fabiola was very attentive, kind, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the entire visit.

And I especially have to highlight LUISA — her drinks were AMAZING. You can really tell how much talent and dedication she puts into every cocktail. Every drink was perfectly made, with incredible flavor and presentation. Honestly, some of the best cocktails I’ve had in a long time. “I’m not one to leave a bunch of reviews. Double Knot was something the Ave desperately needed. The atmosphere and welcome are second to none. We sat at the bar and Nikki took the best care of us we have had in years. She was also running service bar for the whole restaurant. Absolutely crushed it! The manager Nicole was more than accommodating. She was attentive and I basically let her order my entire meal. There were no misses. From the tuna tartar to the wagyu bavette steak, everything came out quick and presented perfectly and delicious. Edamame dumplings were incredible. All the nigiri and small plates as well. Probably the most unlikely star of the show was their soft serve ice cream. Basically had everything on the menu and already planning my next visit. What an awesome experience. 10/10“

“Ogawa is easily one of the best omakase experiences I’ve had in Miami.

I went with two of my best friends on a Wednesday night, and we somehow got lucky enough to be the only guests there. It basically turned into a private omakase experience, which made an already special meal even more memorable.

The chef was fantastic—interesting, engaging, and incredibly thoughtful about every dish. You could tell how much intention went into each course, and everything was beautifully executed. The sake selection was also incredible and complemented the meal perfectly. We even added a few extra pieces at the end because we weren’t quite ready for it to be over.

Obviously, Ogawa is not an inexpensive night out, but this is one of those meals where you walk away feeling like it was absolutely worth it. For a special occasion or if you simply love great sushi, I could not recommend Ogawa more. One of Miami’s very best.“

“Went with a large group, International Police Association Southern Florida for group celebration service began immediately. We wete not rushed as we had drinks and was shortly joined by our chef. He was pleasent and put on a very good show. Even though he spoke no English we still managed to communicate our desires that was not easy with our large group. The presentation (especially getting it delivered for takeout) went above and beyond. My picture I’ll provide probably won’t do it justice. I ordered the 30 piece Dragon Tempura, Tori, and Heaven rolls. All of them were excellent. All in all an 11/10 would definitely recommend to a sushi lover. Great job guys“

“We went there for my birthday and we loved it! The restaurant's ambience was so inviting and upscale, food was very interesting and delicious, and drinks were pretty! We loved crispy rice spicy tuna- very crispy, and rock shrimps were great which made us order rock shrimp roll( my favorite)! Drinks were a little strange- fortune teller was very specific, i was expecting more whisky flavor, but it tasted more sour. The restaurant is very beautiful, love it that it's outside but feels like you are in Japanese garden! We will be back!!!“
