“We were greeted when we entered and given an overview of how to order and all the menu items. Ordering was very easy, and all items could be customized. We scanned our drink items that we obtained from the adjacent cooler and paid with our mobile device. We found a table and waited for our order to be ready. We ordered the chicken shawarma and short rib pockets with sides of fries. The pockets had so much flavor, and we should have split an order of fries. All the staff were courteous and were busy keeping the tables clean. We will definitely come back if we are in the area.“

“I ordered an online service and a service to get my food was very disappointing. Nobody wanted to help me. They just sat and looked at me until I asked him and told him who I was and what I needed. They just continued doing other stuff. The food. However, I've had it twice. It has always been extremely good, very healthy and I'm very pleased with the meals. “Beautiful decor, very clean and bohemian. The espresso and americano were both very good and the guava coconut cookie excellent. While we didn’t have the sandwiches, they all looked delicious. Note that they automatically add a 15% service fee to each order. However, the service was all timely and efficient.“

Miami Gardens is a very big area and we have so many items to choose from, especially if it's greasy. But this place has been a pivotal change in our diet and we really appreciate you.“

“Wowww Carrot Express!!! Just had my first lunch at your Brickell location and it was magic. I had the crispy chicken platter with avocado, brown cilantro rice & pico de gallo AND the tostones with ahi tuna avocado and YUM CITY. “This is my favorite restaurant in Miami Shores. The food is top notch, healthy and reasonably priced. I was.also impressed with how clean the restroom is. It may seem like a small detail but knowing how busy they were I was really surprised by this. It says to me the entire restaurant is clean, not just the areas we see. I had the tuna sandwich with the house salad. The tuna was great and the house salad was excellent.“

“This restaurant is nice and welcoming, the food is good for the price, the cook usually comes out and greets you, the only thing I disliked in my last visit is that I paid and did not include a tip because I feel like tips are optional depending if you like the service but it is hard to tip if you are paying first and receiving service after because you don’t know if you will like the service, so long story short initially I did not include the tip and the cashier/server asked me about the tip like it is mandatory, so she said you can also give cash which I did not have so I had to end up paying it with my credit card with tax added because I felt pressured to do so, I don’t like feeling pressured to give tips so for this only reason not sure if I will return.“

“Just left and I decided to come leave my review. The food was excellent but I didn't like the 2 drinks I tried. I had the Oreo hot coffee but it started to give me a headache and I didn't like the aftertaste. This could be my own salt sensitivity. I tried the Mango Tango afterward which was ok. It tasted too much like water. I ordered the oatmeal for my son. He liked it but was too full from his food earlier to finish. I had the shrimp and grits with eggs. The shrimp was the best I've had in forever. The grits were a nice texture and taste. I asked the eggs be over hard and that's how I got them so they were good too. Good seasonings. My waitress was very attentive as were other people walking by who asked if I needed anything whenever they passed our table. Everyone was really nice. They held the door open for us in and out and everyone made sure to speak to me even if they weren't providing a service. I enjoyed the atmosphere. We sat inside Bec I thought my son would be more into that but they have outdoor seating as well. I would go again and just try different drinks. They have a lot to choose from.“

“Me and my friend came to banana berry 7pm on a Saturday. They had closed for 3:30. The manager saw us outside and offered us in while giving us 2 free large smoothies on the house. If I could give this place 6,7,8 stars, I would. The smoothies were exceptional and it was a great experience for both of us!“

“There are so many Carrot Express restaurants, I finally got around to trying. I went for breakfast and got a side of sweet potato fries that came with a side of spicy mayo ( SOOOO GOOD!). I was not too hungry, so I got a Strawberry Passion smoothie with added protein powder. The service was awesome, the server let me now if what I wanted was gluten free or not and the ambiance is great- the Gables must be one of their newer locations. Would definitely recommend- the prices are worth it.“
