We ordered fried oysters, French fries, and cheese grits, and everything was absolutely delicious. The oysters were fried to perfection, crispy on the outside yet tender and flavorful inside. The cheese grits were just the way I like them—nice and thick—and the fries were a great complement to the meal. Even better, our food arrived quickly and fresh. Our waitress, Lilly, was fantastic, providing friendly and attentive service. We also appreciated how the rest of the staff greeted us warmly as we walked through the restaurant. It’s little details like that that make a place feel extra welcoming. The restaurant itself was clean and well-kept, including the bathrooms, which is always a big plus. Anna Maria Oyster Bar now has four locations, and after this experience, I’d definitely visit again. But what really made our visit stand out was the exceptional service from the bartenders. “First time visiting. Very cute downtown location. Parking can be a little tight. We ordered the Cheese Flatbread and the special of the day the Beef Tenderloin Board. The flatbread was good and the tenderloin board was amazing. We had sweet tea to drink which turned out to be a sweetened light green tea. Very tasty and refreshing. We enjoyed that surprise.“

They have a Boho/Industrial coffee shop vibe that flows smoothly like the drinks you sip on. This time around I got a chai tea with vanilla. “We alas finally got the chance to visit this "brilliant" place on 7.24.2024!!! We sat outsyde since indeed we brought our companion- Hamish, our Border Collie. We were immediately accomodated by the hostess with a fan pointed out way (oppresively hot!) and water for Hamish and a view of what was to come! Only the beginnings of great service and outstanding food: Camille P. our hostess came out immediately with smiles, suggestions and patience. We ordered our drinks (starting with 2-Conch Republic Key Lime Wheat beers) and our brilliant appetizer all brought with no rush nor bad tyming! We then ordered our appetizer which was both unique and most tasty- The Caprese Guac! Two more drinks of choice- the Honey Thyme Smoke Olde Fasioned & a Citrus Cannon- again spot on and magical! For our main my wife and I split the Bee Sting Pizza and the Crispy Chicken Cobb Salad both enough for a split of 4 people with a taste and presentation like none other! Our relaxing and "take a breath" meal/day was finished off with a Pinapple Upside Down Cake (had to try it) to go! Needless to go on and on but we couldn't have been more impressed. We have lived in this area for 2+ years and treat ourselves weekly but never has the treat been so outstanding what with Camille P's humor, efficiency and shared knowledge but unique and abundant food we will be equally back for tyme and again... cheers to ownership (always reflected in the professionalism and great atmosphere of staff, thus planning and providing a place second to none! “So I popped into scullers, utc sarasota this early evening, which I been a customer for a while with no issues only with this bartender Casey said, to me this evening, I am not serving you, and I said are you joking and whats the reason and she said no I dont need a reason and told me to leave., so here a little back story with Casey, which she done with other customers, she accused me of walking out on a one beer tab...which was my first time meeting here.. she accused me of theft, in front of a bar full of customers, which she new was false, because I heard Casey as done this to other customers. Sent email to linksters managnment with no reply back. Second incident about a few months ago she approached me and said you can not smoke your cigar during trivia night that they have every Wednesday, Casey said customers complained about the smoke. So I sat outside far side and customers who knew me from that night asking me why your all the way over there smoking and I said Casey banned me from smoking..I wrote an email to linkstersManagnment and no reply back. Casey as some issues.. never had issues with no other bartender besides Casey which she created and she makes drama were there not need to be.... Not serving me this evening with out no reason is crazy, is Casey bar its Scullers bar.. im just confused on how she can treat customers like this and she allowed to behave in this manner, Casey is so unprofessional on how she treated me and other customers.“
