“I celebrated my birthday at this quaint and unique space last month, and have been back several times since.
Meaghan, the owner, is friendly, accommodating, and a lovely person to chat with.
We have tried just about everything on their food menu, as well as sampled many of their wines. Everything we tried we loved!
We particularly enjoyed the Lola Pinot Noir. As we learned, Lola, is the label of her brother's vineyard in the Sonoma Valley.
Don't expect over-the-top service, expect excellent food, excellent wine, and excellent conversation.
Just love this place! Supporting local restauranteurs is so important. Keep the national chains from absorbing or forcing the mom and pops out.

“Back Alley is my favorite shop at my favorite beach. Its usually an every day stop while we're staying on the island. The coffee is always fantastic and I find the best souvenirs there. I especially love drinking coffee from my Back Alley Insulated cup at home because it reminds me of my happy place when I cant be there. Today was a fantastic day because I got to visit Back Alley! It was our first time in since all the storm damage and the place looks even more beautiful than it did before!“

“The food and service did not disappoint. My wife had the mahi tuna salad. It was excellent and crunchy as described on the menu I had scallops. They were perfectly cooked and very tender. Service was very good. Everything arrived timely hot, and the waiter did not hover have eaten at hundreds of restaurants and this is one of the better onesnot exceptionally expensive and in a mall but quite good food and service and I highly recommend.“

“We went to Capital Grille to celebrate a birthday, and were not surprised that everything was done with excellence. We started with the crab and lobster cake, big, hearty and deliicious with awonderful sauce accompaniment. Two steak dishes and Scallops with risotto were terrific, as were the truffle fires, which are too good to resist. Service was top notch. Like everywhere else, prices were pretty darn high.“

Our server was speedy, kind, and had honest and helpful recommendations for the food. Everything was fast, fresh, and delicious. “My husband and I recently had the pleasure if dining at Sophie’s, in Saks Fifth Avenue in Sarasota. What an amazing experience. The decor both inside and outside so chic. We had Matty as our waitress. She was spot on with top notch service and a wonderful personality. We started with a bread basket of assorted toppings, delicious. He had the Tai chicken. Well prepared and perfect with seasoning. I had on of the best burger ever. Cooked and seasoned perfectly at medium rare with tasty fries. The manager checked on us several times, a nice touch you don’t see anymore. If you happen to be in the area at the mall, I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed. We will be back.“

“Hands down the BEST dinner I have had out in a long time!!! And I eat out a lot! I enjoyed a glass of chardonnay and the Amalfi chicken dinner over gluten free pasta. It came out piping hot from the kitchen and each bite literally melted in my mouth with so much flavor! Very generous sized portions so I enjoyed my leftovers the next night. The servers were very attentive. I cant wait to go back to try another dish on their menu! I highly recommend!“

“This place is a find!!!! Located in a strip mall it's easy to miss it but wow! GREAT food and service. Felt like I was in a small restaurant in Italy. We had the Bianca pizza. It was one of the best pizzas I've had. Next time I'll try one of their pasta dishes ; they all looked wonderful. We went there our last night on vacation. Would have definitely gone back had we discovered La Norma earlier !!!“
