My coworker pointed this place out to me and I truly wish he didn't because I want to visit it constantly...
This place has delivery by grub hub, door dash and uber. The establishment is super clean and a great place for a group to play board games and just enjoy the pleasures of a good ol' fashion ice cream treat. They also have some modern favs like Slushies & Dippin' Dots.
The owners, Tim & Jenny have been here since September 2024 and are the most down to earth people.
Their prices are reasonable and the flavors are downright plentiful.
** Tip : Swing in and ask for the Monster Banana split with 5 scoops! It is under $15 but comes with ALL the fixings and was a customized treat created by one solo traveler who popped in and wanted a massive ice cream dessert. Pick 5 different flavors, on a bed of bananas, topped with whipped cream, cherries, & nuts. This is about to be our fam tradition for us to share one with each of us choosing our own flavors.
They have seating out front, inside and clean bathrooms.
Highly recommend this place!

“We visited this restaurant three times in 10 days during our vacation. Not because the prices were low, they were. Not because the location was near, it was not. But even though we had hundreds of other choices, none would have treated us as friendly, provided us with the atmosphere, and nowhere would they have called me by my name, delivered the food to my vehicle, and made me and my family feel like the TV show "Cheers" where everyone called out your name after just one visit. This is and was next-level charm. My recommendations: go there often, meet the people, and even if you are not a hotdog enthusiast like my family and I. You will love the variety of foods, the great shakes, and the extraordinary personalities that make this a must-visit. I know next year, when we vacation to get out of the Minnesota winters, we will.“

Then we got the muscles, they were very good, my preference is thinner sauce on these, but will get again, next the calamari, superb!! Now the dinners, my husband got the veal Piccata, so tender, flavor perfect, my girlfriend got the veal marsala was perfect!! again so tender no knife needed, and both dishes, the veal was NOT thin like paper, it was exceptional!! I got chicken francese, the flavors just burst in your mouth, tender, was perfect!! If you haven't been here, you need to try it, you will not be disappointed!!! “Stopped at 6th Street Deli today and was so glad we did. The owners Danny and Gina are amazing people. We had the best sandwiches we have EVER had at any Deli. The grilled cheese and bacon and chicken salad were amazing. Great views and the deli is spotless, you could eat off the floors. If your looking for the best sandwich and friendly service this is the place. My husband and I can't wait to go back and we live over an hour away. Try it you will be glad you did.“

“We stopped on our motorcycle ride to have lunch. Everything was neat, clean, and tastefully decorated. Menu selection was perfect especially all day breakfast. Food looked and tasted great. “I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant! On our way through from Disney we found it amongst hundreds of restaurants on the coast. The black and blue flatbread was OUT OF THIS WORLD. The tuna was fresh and delectable, the appetizers were amazing. You HAVE to try the homemade chip appetizer. Lobster ravioli was divine. This places is a GEM.“

“Palm Coast has a lot of great dining options and we were looking for a place we had not gone to before.We pulled up The Brown Dog menu from Google maps and saw they had a lot of options, including gluten-free.
We were not disappointed. The gluten-free bun on the original burger was the best! The bun tasted as good as a regular bun, even better with the non+alcohol porter beer.
We normally pass on dessert, but we were told their cheesecake was made from scratch and had to give it a try. The texture was firm, but fluffy, topped with a chocolate sauce that was definitely homemade. It was the best I've ever had!
We don't eat out much because my wife loves my cooking, but we'll be introducing our family & friends to The Brown Dog.“

The food itself was good and fresh, they were just too large to consume in one bite. To put it in visual perspective, the roll itself was larger than the soy dipping tray. On a positive note the Yum Yum sauce was very delicious, however, when we took our to go bag, they wanted to charge us $.75 for the small little plastic cup.“

“The quality of food is surprisingly high for the price you pay. We've been coming here regularly since they opened and I can tell they have improved with new ownership.
Selection of sushi is better now with more options with raw fish vs artificial crab mostly like it used to be.
They now serve pho in the hibachi section with traditional offerings like brisket, tendon, tripe and meatballs, that amazing for a buffet.“

Even though they were slammed, they still delivered amazing drinks with top-notch customer service. Rachel is awesome too—she remembered me after just one visit, and that honestly blew me away.

My friends and I try out different spots around the area, but nothing ever compares to Johnny’s. It’s seriously become a second home at this point.
