“This review is long overdue. • My friends put together a going away party for me at the Duffy's location on CC Pkwy on the evening of Friday January 28,2022. • I wanted to give a HUGE shout-out to our server, Britney B for single-handedly taking care of our food and beverage needs for three solid hours! She was extremely effecient, friendly, and professional. • As we all know with a group of this size, this can rarely be accomplished in an effortless manner as she demonstrated during that time! • Additionally, thank you to management for allowing us ALL to sit together by placing us is the front private space up front. “Nice place. Our waitress was very attentive, kept our ice tea full and remembered to keep plenty of Splena on the table. I ordered the Seafood Cobb Salad. I am a Cobb Salad fan and order one where ever I go. This one was huge and I mean a 12” plate piled on. All of the individual components were plentiful 5 grilled shrimp on top, tons of cherry tomatoes, a half a pig of bacon, bleu cheese, onions, and the rest were stacked high. Only thing that would have made it better would be chopped greens. I had to get a “kitty bag” for later. Desert was their Banana Bread Pudding with toasted bananas. Again huge could have shared it with 3. Wife ordered Crème Brûlée which she wouldn’t share. Only bump was wife’s entre, Dolphin fish came out topped with tomatoes which she is deathly allergic (not mentioned on the menu) but not to worry, they made her another lickety split. Two entrées, appetizer, ice tea, desert and nice tip came to just under $100 about average for a decent Cape Coral restaurant. Big smiles on this one.????“

“Prime 239 Let me start by saying this place was simply amazing in all aspects of our dining experience. The service, the food, the ambience are just simply amazing. Even the drinks were served in chilled glasses. We stopped by for our Anniversary dinner. This place was neat and clean and very elegant. Once we were seated Jay or server came over to bring us bread and get our drink orders. Our drinks were out fast, then Jay took our food order. I ordered the Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail for Appetizer to share. For our main course I got the 12oz Ny Strip med well with a Lobster Tail on top and the wife got the 6oz Filet Mignon med well with a Lobster Tail on top. For our sides we got the Baked Potato and Honey Buttered Baby Carrots. Now for the review starting with the Bread, it was warm, fresh and very good. The Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail was spectacular in size and served chilled. Our Lobster was done perfect and served with hot butter. The Steaks were done to perfection very good and tasty. The Baked Potato was served with Sour Cream Butter on the side. The Carrots were al dente and so tasty. All our food was hot and so flavorful. Jay, our server was right on point with service. This entire night was perfect thanks to Prime 239. I have reviewed over 187 places in the southwest Florida area, and this makes the top 5. “I also posted the dame review on Google because it is beyond deserved! We had a late night of football practice on 02-28-24 Wednesday. We showed up ten minutes before closing (yes we were those people).. Latisia(sp) greeted us and assured us at that we're fine with a super positive attitude. Food was awesome as always and service was all around awesome by the other employees. Hard to find nowadays. We were blown away by the service at this hour. Again, can't thank you guys enough! We won't show up ten minutes before closing again, promise.“

“Everything was great, even though they were in a restoration project because of the damage done during the last hurricane. My only suggestion would be to have trash cans placed in the bathrooms. I am conscientious and would not place personal hygiene items & facial tissues in the toilet, but other guests possibly would not be that considerate, thus, could cause plumbing problems.“

“Went to the all-you-can-eat fish fry on Friday. Crunchy, tasty fish. Great-tasting crunchy fries. But the only thing that is all you can eat is the fish. Not fries or coleslaw. They cook it to order, and it comes out quite hot. Service from Morgan was top-notch. Not too bad for $15. But it's not like buffet style; where you go up and grab your food. They bring out the fish as you request it. So, basically, you have to wait as they cook it. But overall, it was very crunchy, tasty food, and the service was excellent.“

“Had lunch today. We ordered 1/2 peel and eat shrimp and the comb of three sliders. You had three sliders choices and our waitress recommended try all three. So we had one hamburger, chicken and pulled pork. The pulled pork was the best and then chicken. The pulled pork had a rendered part that was excellent and the meat was tender. They came with a pickle on them. Never had that before and was a great addition. The fries are seasoned. The shrimp is shrimp however the sauce was not just a cocktail sauce. I had to ask. So it is a combo of cocktail sauce then they add some wing sauce to it. It has some spicy to it however not hot at all. Nice change to cocktail sauce. Our waitress was excellent. Will go back to try some wings. The price is very reasonable. It has a colorful Key West vibe to it.“

Last time I walked out the time before that I waited 1 hr to be seated and and additional hr to get my food. It is as shame they take care of the take out orders first. The only good thing about this place is their sever and cashier. Very pleasant and patient. Food has gone done hill as well. And before you make a smart remark. “New Year’s Day we were looking for somewhere to eat and 10 Twenty Five was open. We’ve lived in the Cape for over 3 years and never been here before so we gave it a go. As a chef’s daughter I have very refined tastes and I was not disappointed. The flavors are uniquely different that I throughly enjoyed. The manager Shane came and talked to me and he looked and could not find my order. So he took my order right there and filled it for me. I paid and he said if I got billed twice to come back and they would take care of it. They offered me something to drink while I waited. Shane and the staff were wonderful and helpful. When I got home I looked and I had not been billed twice. We have not eaten there before and we will be going to eat in. Thank you all for your help. “Mel’s Diner Cape Corral 3-4-25 Stopped by Mel’s on Monday around 12:30pm. This place was clean, neat, and busy. We got seated right away and Dee Dee was our waitress. I ordered the Western Black Angus Chopped Steak with Mashed Potatoes and Corn. My wife and our friend ordered the Mel’s Classic Cheeseburger with Cheese, Lettice, Tomato, Onions, Coleslaw, and Fries. Once our order came out my Chopped Steak was amazing. The Chopped Steak had Onions piled high on the top and lots of Gravy, it was so good. My wife and our friends Burger were done perfectly, and the Fries were just yummy and even the Coleslaw was good. All our food was hot and plenty of it as we had to get a to go box to take some home. Once done we ordered two Milkshakes, one Chocolate and one Strawberry. They were very good if you like old fashion Milkshakes get yourself one for sure. Walked into Burnt Store Tavern expecting the usual Florida strip-mall vibes and left wondering if I’d accidentally stumbled into a Michelin-starred speakeasy disguised as a neighborhood bar.
Our server Casey deserves her own statue outside. Picture this: four hangry adults, zero patience, menus longer than a CVS receipt. Casey swoops in like a superhero whose cape is made of napkins and unlimited refills. She memorized our chaotic order faster than I can remember my own Wi-Fi password. No “I’ll check with the kitchen,” no up-selling dessert before apps—just pure, unfiltered competence wrapped in a smile that could melt butter. 10/10, would let her babysit my kids, dog, and tax documents.
The kitchen? Pure Sorcery. My grouper sandwich arrived so perfectly cooked I half-expected it to wink at me. Flaky, juicy, zero “fishy” crimes committed. The burgers were medium-well masterpieces—juicier than gossip at a PTA meeting. And the wings? Crispy outside, tender inside, sauced so expertly I considered proposing to the chef mid-bite. Beer? Served at a temperature that should be illegal in Florida. I’m convinced they keep hops in the witness-protection program inside a glacier.
If you leave Burnt Store Tavern anything less than stuffed, happy, and plotting your return trip, you’re doing life wrong. Tell Casey we sent you—she’ll probably remember our order from 2025 anyway.

“UI have been to bubbas twice. 1 month ago and just last Thursday. The first time it was great. Had the prime rib special. Everything was terrific. Told everyone that they should try it. Last Thursday I took my wife there and it was to horrible. Prime rib was stringy as all hell with a ton of fat all around. Service was fair at best. Worst prime I have ever had. Bitter after taste and just lousy. I will go back again to try something else but not the prime rib special“
