Do not eat here! The food we received was sour and bad. We took one bite of the coleslaw and it was rancid! I called to let them know they needed to stop serving the food as people would get sick (I have managed a restaurant for 20 years). The manager, who really was not helpful at all, said he would refund us but never did. I have waited two weeks before posting this hoping they would do the right thing, but they have not. Unless you want food poisoning, do not eat here!

Huey Magoo’s Chicken Tenders is a restaurant known for its fresh and flavorful chicken tenders. Many customers appreciate the quality of the food, describing the grilled chicken tenders as juicy and delicious. The variety of sauces, including favorites like ranch, sweet chili, and garlic Parmesan, adds to the overall enjoyment. Portions are generally fair, and the prices are considered reasonable, with meal options such as the family 4 pack providing enough food for multiple people. The chicken tendsers and fries are often praised for their tenderness and taste, and the texas toast is a common side enjoyed by many.
The staff at Huey Magoo’s are typically friendly and attentive, especially at the Cape Coral location, contributing to a positive dining experience. Customers also appreciate the family-friendly atmosphere, making it a popular spot for casual outings. However, some issues are noted, including cleanliness concerns such as sticky tables and poorly maintained restrooms. The indoor environment can be cold and uncomfortable at times, and the online ordering system is limited, offering only a few sauce options and a clunky website experience.
Additionally, some reviewers mention that the coleslaw is sour and not up to par, and the texas toast can be dry and tasteless. Portions of tenders are sometimes smaller than expected, and prices may feel high for the amount of food received. Despite these minor drawbacks, Huey Magoo’s remains a recommended spot for tasty chicken tenders, especially for those seeking a casual, family-friendly restaurant with good service and a variety of sauces.
