“Just stopped in for drink and appetizers. Friendly, quick service, delicious specialty drinks and the appetizers were very good. Only place on island so we didn't have much choice, but we were pleased. Would have given higher score, but we really weren't there long. The fried green tomato caprese was delicious!“

Everyone did a wonderful job from the fellas who valeted our car to the receptionist, and the bartenders and an extra special shout-out to our server, Tyra! “Loved our lunch so much at Farlow’s that we went back later in the week for dinner. Wonderful patio, dog-friendly, superb food with SO many choices and helpful staff (Thanks Lexie & Tonee). Depending on day/time you plan to visit, I recommend you make reservations. We stopped by one evening w/o reservations and the wait was over an hour so we decided to eat elsewhere that evening and reserve a dog-friendly table on the patio for lunch later in the week. Lunch was lovely with great weather to sit outside, umbrellas for shade if needed. I enjoyed the Loveland Bay Peach & Mahi Salad (mahi perfectly grilled) while my husband enjoyed the True Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich. Started with Coconut Shrimp as appetizer and the shrimp were perfectly done with a delicious sauce. On our dinner excursion, we tried two tasty dishes: hogfish and Kentucky Chicken & Waffles (very generous portion). We were too full to eat dessert at Farlow’s so we took it with us and found the pina colada cheesecake and blueberry pie were excellent.“

“Sisters! Wow! Great food. Fun outdoor atmosphere. Deck dining with umbrellas for shade. Indoor atmosphere seems old school and clique-would recommend seating outside. Menu has great Italian fare offerings. Lots of apps, salads and entrees. Our server Jax was amazing!! It was a busy Saturday. Takeout was happening and all tables were full! We were a large party and he more than accommodated all of our requests, he was generous, helpful and happy. The other servers and hostesses we encountered looked miserable and acted so- we were so pleased to have Jax! Calzone, pizza, tuna salad, Cesar salad, chicken Parmesan, all tasted great! The dipping oil is very tasty to accompany the bread prior to the meal. Would definitely come back here next time we are in Boca Grande“

“Went in bar one afternoon because it looked very edgy. What a find. Very old Florida with a neat history. Tried to make a reservation but they would booked. Called the next day and had a cancellation for dinner. Best in Boca. The environment is beautiful and food and service is superior. If you are in the area and can get in don’t miss“

“We always get a bunch of stuff to share. Everything is always good. Service is top notch. I visit often. Live Music is always a plus. Great atmosphere!Parking: Depends when you arrive. Circle around a few times you can usually get in. Or park at the park behind the restaurant.“

“I go here twice a year when I fly in from NYC. This time I didn't realize that I was waiting for service on my table. Like I said I love this place. Travis the manager came came by and said I heard you was wanting awhile to be served. Who rat us out, lol. He said desert is on the house. Who does that, a restaurant that goes above and beyond for there customers. Like I said I love this place!!!“

“Don't pay attention to the old reviews you see. I did and it kept me from dining here for quite some time. Friends invited us out for dinner and said we needed to give Placida Grill a try. I'm so happy we did. The food was delicious and the service was great. It's a much cuter place on the inside than what it looks on the outside. Reservations are preferred. You can make them by calling the restaurant. Looking forward to going back.“

“When I first talked in I didn't have high hopes for this place. You wait outside but you can't eat outside. Food is fried but you get huge portions. It's very good if you like fried seafood. We thought it was great and I'm giving it 5 stars. The atmosphere is just ok but come for the food. Service was good too. Did I say you get a huge amount of food? No charge to split plates.“

They catch there own Stone Crab & shrimp are purchased right off the boats for the freshest around The grouper & Red Snapper are also the freshest when available. “Stopped by for lunch today. No wait, we were seated immediately. Our group ordered a chicken parmesian sub, a reuben, and a taco salad - everything was freshly prepared, hot out of the kitchen and tasted amazing! Service was superb - thank you for a great lunch!!“

We were in town for two days for a family funeral and the owners of Isabella’s were able to cater an incredible meal for about 30 people within less than 24 hours notice. “I got a sandwich here when visiting Boca Grande last weekend. It was the best chicken salad sandwich I have ever had. Enjoyed eating in the beautiful garden area behind Boca Blooms across the street per the suggestion of the person who served me at Newlins.“

“This is another fun place—a restaurant next to the marina (Boca Grande)—. So, good food, reasonable prices (I had BLT, delicious and under $20.00), but service just a bit slow. No wonder: people were lined up outside. We waited over 40 minutes—but it was worth it.“

“Waitstaff are wonderful! Food is unpredictable, menu varies from time to time, availability of menu items is also unpredictable. Went for prime rib twice now, and was informed that it was no longer available both times after we had already ordered it. Disappointing twice in a row. Had to change my order and was disappointed with my option. Overpriced food with disappointing results. Waitstaff are always pleasant and helpful.“

“We came here with our friends from Michigan who moved to Florida. The view of the water was awesome and the food was delicious. Our server was helpful in recommending items. I had the French dip which was excellent. Our friends had pulled pork nachos, that were interestingly on home-made potato chips, and fish. All in all a wonderful experience. The restaurant is located at the end of a street that has no sign so make sure to Google it.“

“Went by boat and discovered some new and improved docking which was nice! I ordered the pulled pork quesadilla and it was loaded with meat. Very good! Husband ordered the crab cake dinner and it came with 3 delicious cakes. They were fried just right and loaded with crab meat. We liked each others dishes so much we ended up switching. Waitress was nice and attentive. We'll be back for sure!“

“Everything was outstanding with the exception on the bar cost. We had 5 drinks between 3 people which they charged $13 each. HOWEVER they added and additional change of $5 for ICE. PLUS they added another “open liquor” charge of 4x$3.00. FOR WHAT ??????The total cost came out to $82 for the 5 drinks. That is totally ridiculous, unfortunately I didn’t see this until we got home.“
