“We were seated immediately and the hostess gave us the preferred seating we requested. Our server was exceptional and upbeat. She engaged us just enough to feel welcome and appreciated and provided great suggestions. Food was excellent. I would prefer my crab cakes "hotter", but they were delicious. Views are limited from the restaurant, but after dinner we took time to capture a beautiful sunset from the beach across the way from the Old Captiva House. This place is a must for a romantic meal or dinner with friends.“

“Panko fried shrimp Very good! Cooked to perfection. Coleslaw flavorful! Margarita flat bread *amazing. For an appetizer, it was flavorful, colorful, and filling. Chicken tenders *crunchy, juicy, filling. For an appetizer it was enough to fill me for lunch. Mary was our server and she did a fantastic job. Mom and I had Doc's for lunch and have leftovers to enjoy for later and will be back again!“

“Oh, I so hope the best for the owner rebuilding this perfect restaurant after vicious Ian. This place rates a 5 in all areas! I breakfast here basically every morning regardless how many weeks I stay on Sanibel. Good luck and I’ll be back as soon as possible!??“

“The food is amazing and you can tell everything is made with fresh, quality ingredients. We tried the Mermaid, Slawpy Hog, & Big Tex with the Mediterranean orzo salad and watermelon cucumber salad. Everything was delicious and the service was even better-so friendly!! I highly recommend you check them out.“

“Cantina Captiva, I can’t express how delicious the food here is. We just had lunch moments ago, left with full belly’s and already want to go back. Staff was amazing and attentive. Selections are great and affordable. The inside is cool and crisp after the florida heat, decor is fun. Outside is absolutely perfect for those with large parties as they have tons of space. All around they bring the spice to Captiva!“
