I had a great experience at Hook Seafood & Wings thanks to Daniel, the cashier. From the moment I walked in, he was respectful, fast, and professional. He greeted everyone with a positive attitude, stayed focused even when it got busy, and made sure every customer was taken care of quickly and accurately.

What stood out the most was how patient and clear he was when explaining the menu or answering questions—he never made anyone feel rushed or ignored. You can tell he takes his job seriously and wants people to leave happy.

Definitely one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a while. Shout out to Daniel for holding it down and keeping the vibe solid!“

“Went out for dinner with friends and the food here blew up our senses. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. There was nothing at all that we didn’t fully enjoy. “5 Stars is not enough to rate this establishment. We dine all over Fort Lauderdale and we are always drawn back to Eddie V's! Finest management and wait staff anywhere and the food is always above par. Steak, seafood and signature cocktails are 10 out of 10!“

“I can't get enough of this place; everything is fresh and tasty and the prices are good. I'm there at least once a week and drive a half hour for their mahi mahi. The lobster rolls are big and meaty and the shrimp is always prepared perfectly.“

“For yearsss I've been a consistent bonefish grill customer, specifically this (plantation) location because of the service I receive. Dee is THE bartender to see. She's quick, the drinks are well crafted and she's so sweet. Happy hour aka social hour is back so I'm at her bar whenever she's on the clock. Thanks Dee for always being so welcoming and attentive. “Coconuts has consistently been my "Go-To" spot when guests are in town or a special occasion comes up. From the Drink Menu & Appetizers to Deserts and everything in between; they have always been spot on! Valet makes parking easy in the busy beach area, taking away the hassle of having to find a spot. The staff is always kind and courteous- I especially appreciate the mindfulness when I mention my food allergies. I'm confident I can order anything off the menu and not have to worry about an accidental contamination and reaction. If you go- don't leave without ordering the Scoobies and a slice of Key Lime pie!“

“My husband did great choosing this place for my birthday dinner last week! My friends had the Mahi Mahi, husband had the grouper, and I had the fish special with orzo/crab fritters. For dessert we had key lime pie and the icky sticky. The octopus appetizer was great also. I had a guava punch cocktail. All around an enjoyable experience!“

“The food was very good! I had the risotto with beef tenderloin, and it was delicious—rich, flavorful, and satisfying. However, I'm giving four stars because the portion of risotto was quite large compared to the amount of beef tenderloin. A bit more balance between the two would have made it perfect.“

“We love JBs and when we came a bit later in the afternoon there was a band playing then it switched to dinner. Great patio facing the beach and the service keeps up with busy times...The food is great and costs meet it with a family of four but the atmosphere is what really draws people here.

Parking: JBs is located on a busy bend by the pier in Deerfield. It has pedestrians, bicycles and a whole array of cars always being dropped off, the valets do a great job!“

“Reservation was for 7:30pm and when we arrived we were immediately seated. Restaurant seemed bright for dinner service. 30-45mins into dinner they dimmed the dinning room. Drinks were ok but not to the level for this establishment. We ordered crab cakes and oysters Rockefeller. Oysters were great. Crab cakes were a little underwhelming. We went with the 50oz waygu tomahawk, medium rare, truffle mashed potatoes, corn pudding, cream spinach. The steak was amazing and almost fell apart in your mouth. Truffle Mashed Potatoes and corn were great but cream spinach was not and we did not finish it. I have to say that the service level was top of line and a highlight of dinner. All in all just a good dinner but not great especially for a Michelin Nod restaurant and the price point. There are better steak houses in Ft Lauderdale.“

“These guys are THE BEST. Not only is the food just as amazing as it’s always been (I’ve been a semi-regular for nearly 25 years), but the staff and management are top notch. Recently my best friend passed and his brother knew he loved Catfish Dewey’s, so he wanted to have a dinner there with local friends, neighbors, and colleagues. I went in and spoke to Joe, the manager. He assured they’d make it happen and they did so, flawlessly and with great attention to detail. They managed a party of nearly 48 people in addition to their regular clientele, even bringing in extra staff to help with the event. These folks went out of their way to make sure this special event went flawlessly and it did. The waitresses, whose names I cannot remember (I told you I wouldn’t…sorry! Ha!) were amazing. Food runners, on point. Bartenders, outstanding. Management, excellent. There’s a lot of love and care in this establishment and it should be celebrated. There’s not enough of that these days. Support local businesses who care, especially those with GREAT food AND great people like Catfish Deweys.“

“We went this evening after seeing a friend post the menu. WOW!!! We sat right at the bar and had the Drunken Mussels app, gumbo, shrimp poboy, and shrimp taco. What a GREAT meal. The staff was friendly and top notch. We met Chef Joe who obviously has passion, talent, skill and fantastic people skills and enjoyed chatting with him just as much as his creations. We went on a lark and we definitely will be back to try the other items on the menu... and we will be bringing our friends.“
