“Vicky’s Bakery on Stirling Road in Cooper City is such a great spot for authentic Cuban pastries, breakfast, sandwiches, and amazing Cuban coffee ☕️. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. The guava and cheese pastry is a must, and the beef empanadas are always a favorite. The atmosphere feels welcoming and family friendly, and the staff is kind and attentive every time.
It is the perfect place to grab breakfast or a quick bite. If you are placing a large or specific order, I recommend calling to confirm details after ordering online.
Highly recommended if you are craving fresh Cuban flavors if you are in the area; however they do have more branches throughout South Florida.“

“Josefina Coffee House in Southwest Ranches is such a wonderful little find! ☕ I tried their chicken and beef empanadas, and both were delicious. Their vanilla latte is also excellent—definitely worth trying.

I really loved the variety they offer. They have so much more than just coffee, including croissants, cookies, brownies, tarts, soups, salads, and so many traditional favorites. The pandebono, croissants, quiches, and alfajores de maicena filled with dulce de leche are especially tempting, and it’s wonderful to see these kinds of authentic treats available.

Everything feels fresh, welcoming, and thoughtfully put together. It’s nice to have a coffee house in the area with such a great selection of both savory and sweet options. I’ll definitely be back to try more!“

“We walked in and the guy working welcomed us immediately, asked if it was our first time and went through the entire menu for us and gave recommendations. He was very kind. I drove 3 hours for the Oreo donut sandwich and it was 100% worth it. Will definitely be visiting again next time I’m here.“

“We had the best dinner at a local Plantation restaurant - we highly recommend Burtons Grill & Bar! The service was amazing, everyone was so friendly and accommodating and even the Manager came over to our table to thank us. I had a beautiful (large) salad topped with Thai steak and it was healthy and delicious. Ron almost always orders a burger and it was cooked perfectly with a large amount of awesome fries. The nice thing we liked about it, also, is that there is a lovely outdoor patio with fans and very comfortable. Our server was delightful, and we noticed that ALL of the servers were smiling and attentive to everyone! Oh, yes, we will be back!!“

“Zen Mystery is a great Vegan restaurant located Hollywood / Dania Beach area of South FL. They have an excellent selection of raw dishes, smoothies, and speciality drinks. If you're ever in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by and get the Bento Box which let's you sample items on the menu. Never Disappoints. Oh.. and the desserts 🍨 are on point as well!!“

He said they were very generous with the meat portion. I enjoyed my chicken platter as well, the portion was huge! I could not finish it all at once. Sadly I didn't love the greek salad dressing because it has a strong mayonnaise flavor, and I cannot stand mayonnaise 😢 But definitely highly recommend this local restaurant establishment, in a very convenient location with plenty of available free parking. “So I already knew that their cakes and cupcakes and cookies were delicious and beautiful - I especially enjoy the cookie cakes because to me they taste like a real homemade chocolate chip cookie (far superior to a Publix cookie cake, for comparison) - but what I just found out today is that their quiches are also delicious; I stopped by randomly and decided to get a piece of the cheese and bacon quiche which has this amazing hashbrown potato crust and it is simply TO DIE FOR. I know my husband is going to love it too, because he loves hash browns, and I intended to save half for him but that simply did not happen. I will have to go back and next time get two pieces. So I recommend LoveLee Bakeshop for special events AND for a treat on a regular day along with a delightfully satisfying cup of coffee.“

“Laser Wolf is a great local "Stranger Things" themed bar serving up a wide variety of cold brewskis. The walls are filled to the brim with nostalgic memorabilia from the yester years of the 00's. They frequently have food trucks that visit, ranging from tasty smashy crispy burgers, to their own fantastic taco express food truck (best hot sauce!) and even a legendary Geisha master shows up every now and then. Only negative thing is that they never have Sam Adams. Music could be better too. No reggaeton. Still 5 stars I think.“

“I had dinner here with my daughter, unfortunately I did not get the name of the young waiter who helped us. We placed our order and he questioned why we ordered a certain type of item off the menu, he recommended food to us that we didn't ask for, I'm not sure if it was because it was late in the evening and he did not want to ask the cook to cook anything, Just a very odd waiter, ultimately never came back to our table once our food was served. I love P.F. Chang's, but this particular waiter was just very odd.“

When I get a chance, I drive to Davie to pick up my favorite Gipsy medium roast coffee, amazing. Been using Starbuck for years and they have nothing like Filomena's coffee. “I actually placed an order to be shipped to me. Within 2 days I received 4 loaves of fresh baked bread, made with ancient grains. 2 loaves of Kamut and 2 loaves of Einkorn. I ordered these a couple of times about a year ago, and loved them! It took a few months, but I managed to drop about 34 lbs. and still enjoy good food! This time, however I havent done well using the other products
..the teas, the olive oil, the alkaline water Etc. But that's just because this year has been hard so far, so my routines and preparedness isn't what it should be, so I've got to tighten up! The breads are awesome and I will continue to buy them!“

But I'm there every week - so much to say. 1) If you want a traditional butcher, who knows how to clean, cut and recommend meat, then save your peace of mind and money. Ditch the rest and go the Doris. 2) I'm from Europe and gave up on finding a good butcher.....then I found Doris. I needed a lamb shoulder for Christmas. They cut, trimmed and gave me the best lamb roast I've ever had the luck to find. But it wasn't luck. They'll even tell you how to cook it. I went back got whole, leg and thing, split chicken breasts. Then I graduated to the freshly made Italian sausages, clams, and other sundry items. I genuinely enjoy shopping there. Yes, the queues for meat can be long. But that's only because those who know, go to Doris and the staff are very nice, professional and knowledgeable. For value, quality, exceptional customer service and a restaurant quality finish to all your meals, I cant find another store than bests them. I've stopped buying supermarket meat fish, baked goods and fruit/veg. For what I pay in publix and the rest of them, the quality just isn't there. Eat clean, eat healthy - go to Doris and stay out of the Dr's office. 10/10“
