“Everything about this place is phenomenal! That's why we and everyone one keeps coming back. From the checking in, service, and food one can't really ask for anything better. Why it is and will continue to be nit only a staple for our ho yo but the gables little gem! 💎“

“Well prepared dishes that are prepared beautifully with complex flavors. Wontons are a staple on the menu and when you try them you will understand why. Delicate and savory goodness. The other two dishes we ordered were just okay (potato dumplings and cauliflower). I’m sure some of the other items were super yummy but our stomachs could only handle a light dinner (had a super late lunch). The service was very knowledgeable and polite. Please keep in mind they do not alter their menu items so those who have dietary concerns should call ahead since they change their menu often. The ambiance was just okay. It’s located inside a Citibank building on the ground floor. Lighting could be better and perhaps an upgrade on seating and tables. Totally doable but a bit dated. All in all a lovely experience.“

“We’ve hosted multiple work and personal events here and love it. Finally, taking the time to write a long-time-coming review because they went above and beyond expectations, even beyond their usual excellent service. We were planning on hosting a wedding welcome cocktail outdoor at the brewery. The weather turned for the worse and Nick and Kelly quickly arranged for us to use Threefold Cafe instead. We were able to have a beautiful, intimate, private event at the cafe. The bride and groom could not have been happier and the out-of-town guests had an amazing time. The beer and wine selection was perfect. Food was delicious. Staff was attentive and warm. I could not recommend them more 10/10.“

“My husband found this little gem and we went for brunch on our first day in Coral Gables. We struck gold! Not only was our server, Monica, a treat but so was the food. We went with two of her recommendations. The il piu italiano avo toast and mega mushroom omelette…so good!! I went back the next morning because I really wanted to try the don’t be a (lemon) tart French toast…another hit. And my server, Rashad, was another gem! I enjoyed the food, atmosphere and workers at Threefold, and would highly recommend you check this place out.“

“They serve breakfast all day and we went around 11am. We ordered the French toast. It is one slice only and is served in a pool of syrup. Delicious. We also had a side of the bacon. That also is one slice. It is served in a strip but it is a thick slice so they also cut the slice into smaller pieces. We also had the scrambled eggs and a side of the tallow taters. Do not miss out on those. The absolute best potatoes I have ever had. Served with a sauce that may be a base of roasted red pepper. I’m not sure, but it was outstanding. I also had a gables cafe crème but I asked for it hot. The place is extremely small and the service was not attentive but when I could get their attention they were knowledgeable and helpful. We sat “at the bar” which is really a window. It allowed us to sit right away but know that if you pick this spot there will people standing very close for comfort behind you waiting for a table. They may even have a restless toddler. All worth it, just saying pack some patience if that kind of thing bothers you. Cannot wait to go back and try the duck eggs!“

We made a reservation for 2 at 3pm and our server was amazing, so courteous, and gave us great suggestions for appetizers and desserts. I always come back to where I was happy so I will be definitely coming back to La Pata Gorda!“

“I ordered the petit filet medium rare; when the waiter brought it to our table he saw that the meat was well done. Without my asking, he offered to have it done again, but I declined his offer. The manager then came to our table and. apologizing, offered again to have it redone. I again declined and was told there would be a significant reduction in my bill - which there was. I really felt like I was well taken of by servers trying very hard to do their best.“
