Unique at the drive thru window displayed the upmost excellency of customer service and not only did we feel like welcomed customers but like welcomed family. She answered all of our questions with patience and made sure we had everything we needed. Five Stars. We will be back.“

“I’ve come to this restaurant twice and ordered the same thing. (I like to make sure what I call order isn't a “hit or miss,” so I want to order it 2-3 times to ensure it's good.)

1st time was my own, and 2nd time was when I recommended it to my friends and family.

I told them, let's get the “Mad fries.” they loved it and wanted to come back… not only that, but it's worth the money. It's a nice big plate you can share with one person, and I'm a big guy. I am satisfied with half, so it's worth the price.

Now, the only reason I rate four stars is because I can't rate 4 1/2. It's a fantastic restaurant with great food, excellent customer service, and affordable pricing. You can taste and feel the authenticity of this place.

But their drinks are a little out of taste. The fountain drinks either lack gas or syrup, have too much syrup, or taste weird. Their drinks, like lemonade and juices, are also lacking in taste. The cups are huge, but we can definitely say size doesn't matter if the soda tastes weird. ?

Overall, it's a great place and worth the try. I hope you guys enjoy it!

Parking: They have a small parking lot next to them going down on south federal Highway, but right next to them is a pizza spot called “John” or “Jim” Pizza. I can't recall the name, but I sometimes park there since service is typically fast.“

I’m a frequent visitor to PDQ because their chicken always hits the spot, whether it’s a sandwich, nuggets, or tenders. I decided to stop in the Plantation location before I headed south back home. This time, I noticed they had the new Nashville Hot Sandwich on the menu and couldn’t resist trying it!

This sandwich features two crispy tenders perfectly seasoned with Nashville Hot spices, topped with crunchy pickles, and served on a soft bun. The first bite was a flavor explosion! The tenders were juicy with a bold, smoky heat that balanced perfectly with the tanginess of the pickles. The spice level was just right—not too overwhelming but enough to leave a satisfying kick on your palate. Paired with their golden, crispy fries, it was a meal I’ll definitely come back for.

If you’re a fan of Nashville Hot anything, this sandwich delivers on both flavor and quality. The chicken is cooked to perfection, and the seasoning is bold without being overpowering. PDQ nailed the balance between crispy, spicy, and savory.

Me and my grandma walked in and was immediately welcomed into the establishment.
I ordered Fries, Chicken Tenders, A Green Apple Lemonade, And Magoo Sauce. On the other hand, my grandma ordered Fries, A Chicken Sandwich (With no pickles, in which they got rid of the pickles.) The chicken had flavor, was moist, crunchy, crispy, and greasy, and the crinkle-cut fries were soft and hot, the soda machine was working, and the Magoo sauce was phenomenal. Also, it was cheap. Not to mention, there was little to no trash on the floor. When I’m craving chicken, i’ll make sure to go to Huey Magoo’s! 🐔“

“As soon as walked in, a cashier named Karen took my order. Karen is such a sweet person. I ordered fried chicken. Karen told me that my food will be ready in an half an hour. So I waited in my car. “It's Popeyes so of course the good is good. Service is mediocre. The wait is longer than expected and it seems ( at least when I go ) that the spicey chicken isn't ready. “I've been to other Pollo tropical locations many times, and this time it was much better. The chicken was really tasty, I guess they actually marinated it for a day. Also service was way better, friendlier staff. Even the manager (I assume) was going table by table asking how everything was, which is unheard of for this type of restaurant. I like pollo tropical in general, but this was by far my best experience with them. The place was also clean and organized.“

“I'm usually worry that establishments featuring cuisines outside their origin market won't be as good - but this Popeyes absolutely served! I expected it to be less modern and older-feel since it was a tenant space in a strip mall but walking in, I see it was completely renovated and featured touch-screen kiosks. I typically prefer human interactions, so the only reason this spot gets full marks from me is because of Renisha (I believe was her name, give her a raise!) welcomed customers and interacted with us in a way that was very accomdating. She also helped us when the kiosk didn't give us full options or was confusing. I even conversed in a very convinial manner with my fellow patrons in a third-place like way I could not have anticipated. There's no dine-in option, so when I got home the food was still warm (much of it hot), the sauce delicious, the chicken right and crispy, and even the blueberry lemonade was scrumptious - my favorite though was that mac' and cheese, which was the right kind of creamy and cheesy. Thoroughly impressed by the entire experience when I expected it to be run-of-the-mill.“

I remember eating at Pollo Tropical quiet often in the early 2000's because you could always get a fast, economical, and healthy meal. I especially love the curry sauce but through the years the grubbiness of the restaurants were a real turn off and I gradually stopped going.

Fast forward to today when I was with someone who wanted to eat here. I didn't have high hopes but in the interest of being agreeable I went along. Wow, I have to say I am impressed. The restaurant was spotless with an updated tropical color scheme. It looked clean and spacious. The tables weren't sticky and dirty which was always a problem before. Gone is the sloppy, messy sauce station. Instead you request your sauce and it is given portioned out in plastic cups.

The young lady who took our order was so nice. I got my usual chicken tropichop with yellow rice and the bowl was topped with perfectly grilled tender chunks of chicken. So good especially when drizzled with the curry sauce. I ate inside and it was very pleasant but you can get your food to go from the drive thru too. This was a really good lunch that didn't leave me feeling heavy, tired, and bloated after. This location of Pollo Tropical deserves accolades.“
