“Our server, Jason, was a perfect mashup of humor, candor, and kindness. He was attentive during the meal and filled with insight on the menu and restaurant. He was the most nontraditional server I’ve ever had and I mean that as a compliment. He added value to the meal and left with a full belly and numerous belly laughs. The food was solid too. The chicken and brisket were a little dry, but flavorful. They were excellent with my gluten allergy and took it serious since the moment I sat down. They even had a separate menu.“

Dietary restrictions: I developed an allergy to gluten (foods that contain wheat) in 2019 due to a medical condition. The staff & kitchen at LongHorn always take my health into consideration. In fact, Long Horn is one of only 3 restaurants where I have never experienced a problem with becoming ill after eating due to careless cross-contamination of the food that I order.“

“Best place in Haines city to eat really good home style food and bbq, this is probably the best smoked chicken i've ever had. Smoked ribs are super tasty. Portions are huge. Variety of sides to pick. Give a shot if you are around the place. Hidden gem in the area.“

“Very cozy, I loved all the pictures of old southern BBQ's. Reminded me of Florida in the 1950's. My wife loved the food, if you can satisfy my wife you are doing it correctly. I loved the food also. I know we will be back. You are now our go to when in the area.“
