Only thing I didn’t like was the smoke, I’m a smoker but when I’m eating I don’t like to be breathing others smoke while eating it’s not appetizing.“

“The food has always been excellent and all the years I’ve been coming to the art house. The amazing amount of beers they have is incredible and hard to match anywhere else in town. The place is a lot of fun, with large screen TVs everywhere for any of the sporting events that could be on at the time. Because the place is super busy, service could be excellent or it could just be adequate. Depending on how overwhelmed the server is at the time. But I wouldn’t let that detract because you just sit there and drink your beer and watch TV while you’re waiting and things seem much better.“

“First time in was an open mic with a friend. The show was much better than the ones I'm used to back home, and we had a great time. The service and drinks are great; I love the giant jenga and the space as a whole. I've worked in the horse industry my whole life, and after 16 years of toeing the line between saying what needs to be said and saying what will get me asked to leave without pay, it was fantastic to be in a room that invited me to say whatever I wanted. “Everything about the restaurant was great. Our server Jaslyn was very attentive and ensured we got our meals exactly how we wanted them. The allowed us to change our sides with the bay back ribs which were really delicious. When we were leaving one of my friends accidentally dropped her passport and we were travelling early the next day. The restaurant called us and notified us and we were able to return and retrieve it. That saved us a lot of anxiety and stress. Overall a great experience and we will definitely return again.“

“Restaurant is beautiful. You don't feel like you're in a mall. Our only hiccup: we had two large tables in our party. One sat by the bar, one sat by the kitchen. The server for the by the bar table was the best. Fast service, very attentive, great food, separate checks no problem. The server by the kitchen was great until he said he couldn't do separate checks. We sought a second opinion from a manager since it was just completed with no difficulty by a server. The manager provided some backend info and lack of communication on their part reasoning, but none of it rang true because of the separate check experience with our other table. Equally upsetting is that the manager seemed to be scolding the server who did our separate checks with no issue. In the end after about a 20 minute delay, we were able to do separate checks, but the way in which it was handled needs to be improved.“

Temperature is cold so bring a coat or jacket to enjoy your food in warmth. You can also watch the planes taking off and landing so better than just staring at the walls. I will come back again.“

I am not super familiar with Honduran food, but I have been more exposed to it recently since moving to the area. This restaurant highlights baleadas as one of the main dishes they make, but they do have entrees on the menu. Caveat: the menu is on the wall, posted on a posterboard, but I believe they might even have more items than what is posted. It was slightly overwhelming because I wanted to try it all.

I was going to sit at the counter, but the ladies encouraged me to sit at one of the tables, because they said the chairs were more comfortable and they wanted me to enjoy the experience. I ordered the sopa de res (beef soup) and it did not disappoint. It was a significant bowl with plenty of vegetables and beef bones. It came out pippin hot and with a good portion of rice on the side and some fresh tortillas. Overall, this place is great for an authentic Hondorian dish. They also have some El Salvadorean dishes as well. It also is very well priced. I spent $22 for the entree, a fresh pineapple juice, and a colada to go.“
