“This tiny little unassuming place is a hidden gem. We happened to be in Lake Wales and stopped in for lunch. The food was all fresh and made to order. Absolutely fantastic. My blackened grouper didn't last long enough to be photographed. Nor did my wife's fish tacos. My sons got the alfredo and the beer battered cod. Both were reticent to share. Great portions and friendly staff. Makes you feel like a regular. Will definitely "happen to be" in Lake Wales more often.“

“A great option in Lake Wales!We live in Lakeland and have really been searching for a go-to spot for days we visit Bok Tower and I think we found it! This location is easily accessible with ample parking. It is a counter service restaurant where you order and pay at the counter and they bring the food out to you. Our food came out quick and was very fresh and my family of four ate for right around $50 including tip. The chicken tenders and fries were both fresh and crispy and seasoned well and the ranch was great too! My husband enjoyed his burger and there was a lot to choose from on the menu without being overwhelming. The staff was excellent— kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. There was just one very small mistake with our food and it was fixed within seconds and in a kind and respectful way by staff. “We visited Little John's restaurant for breakfast. The service was excellent. The owner even came over to welcome us. The noticed the wait staff clean the table, booth area very throughly between customers as well. Food was great and very reasonably priced.“

I’m trying to steal of my hubby’s wings because he won’t share and our daughter has barely touched the ketchup for chicken fingers because they are so good without it. “Had to stop in and check out their breaded pork tenderloin sandwich. Marilyn and I both got one and it was pretty good. This comes with french fries but we also got some onion rings and some coleslaw. You just have to be aware this is cash only no credit cards. The waitress was really nice and took good care of us.“

“Came to Applebee's tonight for a late dinner. Fred was FANTASTIC!! Loved his customer service. Very up beat. Our food was quick and wait time was low. We did have to have them remake our blondie but he was so cheery about it which made me feel better as I don't like to tell staff something isn't good, but it was just too burnt to eat. Second one was delicious and hit the spot! We'll be back and be asking to be sat in Fred's section!!“

“Driving to Hanes City to judge BBQ this weekend and needed food upon arriving. Was looking for a burger and Google took me here. They may not actually BE The Burger GOAT, but this place is certainly a great find! Efficient little food truck serves up an excellent grilled burger, hot off of the flat top. The owner, Evie, is a doll. I was so hungry that I neglected to take a pic, but the double burger with grilled onions, tomato, cheese, bacon, a fried egg and their special sauce was $15 including fries and a drink (and really yummy!). Try them out if you're in the area. I'll be back.“
“Upon arriving we were immediately greeted by Kellie who was friendly and sociable, the place was clean both inside and out. I am 6 ft 220 so to me the seating at the booths and the bar seemed a little cramped. Kellie was attentive and checked in on us regularly keeping our drinks topped off and making sure all was well. Our food was quickly made and tasted great, we would definitely come back.“

“This is a nice and quiet little family-friendly sports bar. The food portions are huge and the drinks are cheap. The burger could have been two sandwiches easily. I ordered the hurricane chicken, and while it was pretty good, i would have liked the barbeque sauce to be something more original. It tasted like any plain old store bought sauce. There's games and pool tables to keep everyone entertained. We'll definitely give this place another try. The menu had a lot of options that sound amazing!“
