“Great cheeseburgers! My wife and I had one each today (take out) and they were delicious. Huge patty, crisp lettuce, perfect tomatoes and homemade pickles. We had coleslaw and fries as sides. Again, both tasty. Did I mention reasonable prices? Service was spot on as well. We’ll definitely be back and recommend it to everyone.“

Our server was great, she was attentive and stopped by our table an appropriate amount of times. We started with drinks , the mango martini was perfect, my drink not so much. I had a Malibu somerhing. We ordered the goat cheese platter as a starter and it was amazing. Probably my favorite part of the night. We picked simple dishes, the street tacos and the burger. I hate to say I was a little disappointed. The chicken street tacos had little seasoning , the burger seemed more like meat loaf than a nice burger. “This is cutest place! I visited Daytona Beach for my birthday. I met some friends from out of town that rode on the plane with a guy that recommended this location. Robin and Charlotte waited on us when we visited and we had an amazing time talking with them. We ordered the lobster rolls, Caesar salad, cookies and cream gelato, and key lime pie. The food was amazing!! We’re glad that we made the trip. I’ll definitely be visiting again! If you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant!!“

During a day trip to the Canaveral National Seashore, I researched local restaurants and discovered a gastronomical jewel. Jeanette (often seen buzzing in and out of the kitchen) and Jaime have created a fantastic menu that suits the medium sized restaurant and kitchen located on the corner of a midsized mall... “Since I live in Ponce Inlet, I've been to Down the Hatch many times and have always found their seafood to be so fresh all the time. This time I had my sons visiting me from St. Louis, they wanted to eat at the best restaurant for seafood, and of course, we went right here and it didn't disappoint. They especially loved the shecrab soup with the sherry on the side. It was scrumptious. Their dinners were wonderful, as well as the desserts. Needless to say, we went home with plenty of leftovers. Steve, the server was great. All in all, it was a perfect night. So whether you live nearby or on vacation, make it a point to dine there.“

“It was our 1st time here (we're also from out of town), and saw this place on the map and decided to try it out. Let me tell you how amazed we were by the quality of the food. My partner and I split the southern heap (swapped out the potatoes for fruit), and it was a great portion! The food was delicious, the service was great, (Kelly was our server and she was awesome), and we will definitely be back when we are in town or driving thru! If you live in the area or are just passing thru, you have to stop in and get some delicious country style food.
