“My wife and I went to Ponce Inlet, never having been before. We were greeted by Caitlyn, I hoped I spelled her name correctly, who was the most gracious server we have had in a long time. Great service, great food, great view, affordable and just a great find. Highly recommend to anyone in the area. We plan on making this place a definite stop when we're in the area. “My wife and I had an early dinner at Boondocks in Port Orange. The drinks and food were great. The only thing better was the service. If a server passed your table, with a smile they asked how everything was and did you need anything. Best staff attitude I have seen in a long time. Cudos to the Staff and mgt. “Since I live in Ponce Inlet, I've been to Down the Hatch many times and have always found their seafood to be so fresh all the time. This time I had my sons visiting me from St. Louis, they wanted to eat at the best restaurant for seafood, and of course, we went right here and it didn't disappoint. They especially loved the shecrab soup with the sherry on the side. It was scrumptious. Their dinners were wonderful, as well as the desserts. Needless to say, we went home with plenty of leftovers. Steve, the server was great. All in all, it was a perfect night. So whether you live nearby or on vacation, make it a point to dine there.“

“Gotta give a BIG THANK YOU to the entire team at JB'S Fish Camp. Our youth baseball team was in town for a tournament. We got first place and the parents and players were starving. We all decided on JB'S. The staff was accommodating, friendly, and very efficient. The food was fantastic (some of the best seafood I've had in a while) and we loved the live music and scenic views as our perfect day came to an end with a beautiful sunset. This was the best place for a large group. I can't thank the staff enough for how well they took care our large group, and were patient with our rambunctious group of excited baseball players. 10 out of 10.

“My sister’s wedding at North Turn Racing in Daytona was incredible! The location is stunning, but the real stars were the staff. Bret and Cathy (managers) were amazing, and Sky (event coordinator) handled everything flawlessly. Dane kept the bar lively, Jessica led a fantastic wait staff, and the band—Shawn and John—nailed it. Everyone went above and beyond to make the day perfect. Highly recommend for any special event!“

“The Spott never disappoints with the quality of both the food and the service. On my last visit, the black drum caught locally in Ponce Inlet exceed my previous favorite of lion fish. Their filet is one of the best in town. Whether you are enjoying the “speak easy secrets” atmosphere upstairs for a pre-dinner drink or the vibrant energy of the dining room, it is always on point. The only thing that would improve it would be to expand, add live music and a classy place to dance.“

“Asian Sauce Box is my favorite Chinese restaurant in town and an I’m Chinese Jamaican! Yes it’s a little pricey, but the food is so good, it’s really worth it! No other Chinese restaurant in town even comes close in my honest opinion. In fact I just told a friend about it and both her husband and her will be going there for dinner sometime next week, I think, with us. She’s never been there, but she’s going with both my husband and I soon.“

“Excellent location and really tasty food. The service was good but slow. The thing I didnt understand was it was a Friday night, 6:30ish, and the outdoor patio was dead and quiet. Yes no music at all was being played. Its such a beautiful view and has a playground for parents to watch their kids while they relax. I know managers that would love to the outdoor capabilities this place has. Hire a guitarist, made a social media post about it, tell people to come down and celebrate on the patio. I mean come on guys, that patio is like having a Ferrari in the garage but you just drive your Cavalier. Use your assets!“

“Loved it here for lunch as did our guests. Riverdeck did a great job on the renovations, clean, bright, tables on the deck ,not crowded in and with a beautiful river view all around. Interesting menu choices, lots of fun cocktails too. We had the pleasure of meeting BRAKUS (not sure of sp) on his first day there as a server. He was quite personable, fun, and entertaining! He will definitely be a great asset to the restaurant! The pesto shrimp flatbread and ahi tuna app were very good. My husband had a burger that had ham , cheese, onion rings, bacon stacked on it.. it was over 4 -5 in high.. difficult to eat but good. * I really dislike when ppl give ratings of 1 or 2 ‘based on an issue such as valet, or club colors ’. Not food/service. Doesn’t seem fair. I can see why they use valet, the parking lot has ruts that rainwater accumulates in, ppl would get wet getting in or out of their cars.“
