“My favorite Chinese takeout to go to! I love that fact that when I come in I am greeted and asked" what you want"? I absolutely love how they greet me. It makes me smile. Also the food is so delicious my favorite dish is the general sou's chicken with rice and the egg roll combo. I love the atmosphere here it's very comfortable and invitingParking: Open parking area in front of building.“
“This is my favorite locally- and family-owned spot for quick Cantonese and Chinese food. Since moving a couple times, I’ve never found a Chinese place that makes dishes as tasty. When I visit Englewood I always try to pick up some Koo’s, it’s just that good.“
“I'm leaving five stars because negative reviews are often irrelevant and hurt the reputation of a business unfairly. This evening I called ahead to inquire about outdoor seating with a dog. The employee put me on hold to find out and informed me outside was dog friendly. When we arrived the hostest informed me they don't serve outside.I won't beat this business up with a bad review. I can try their food if I don't have my dog with me. I'm not sure I will.“
“Decided to give this place a try knowing Christmas and couldn't have been more pleased. They were slammed but my order was still done by the promised time and it was fresh and tasty. I ordered cheese wontons and they were out so they called and gave me a couple extra egg rolls. I will absolutely be back.“
“THANK YOU!!! ??? I had been getting my Chinese food fix at a different place. Tried your's tonight for the first time. You FILL the entire tray with all my main dish and put rice on the side (not per my request)The *other place, same size tray, puts half main dish / half rice in this same size, essentially giving half main dish food. YOUR'S, I get so much MORE. That's wonderful because I can save some for another meal tomorrow. You're the BEST! Curry is my favorite and now you're my favorite. ❤️“
“Clean, friendly place. I found the food to be just okay. It was not bad I just prefer a different style of Hunan. They do give you plenty of food and the prices are reasonable. They have 4 tables with 4 chairs each. It is easy to find and a short walk from the parking spots.“
“This is literally the only edible Chinese food in Venice. It’s not my all time favorite, because I come from NJ and NYC where the greatest Chinese takeout in the country is. But there are some pretty good things here, which is excellent compared to every other place in Venice. The wonton soup, boneless spareribs, sweet and sour pork, egg roll and general tso’s chicken are all good. I go here sometimes once a week and don’t get tired of it. The only things I haven’t liked from here are the bourbon chicken, which was really dry and needed a lot more sauce and the fried rice, I really don’t like the fried rice here. It’s the only place I’ve ever asked for white rice with a combination platter. The service is the fastest I have ever comes across. My food is always ready in 5 minutes without fail. It’s definitely worth a visit. It’s 4 stars in Venice. In Sarasota, it would be more like 3 stars. Still good either way.“
“Large portions, reasonable prices, Extensive menu...no atmosphere just a couple of tables in small dining room, but great for takeout and the cooks really season their dishes well. We get takeout several times per month, lasts several daysParking: Located in Publix shopping plaza...lots of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Room to enter and wheel up to counter to order, but kinda tight to maneuver“
“Personable & helpful young lady took our order (take out only - no eat in, not sure if they deliver) and food was ready on time. Spring rolls were crisp and delicious and the general Tso’s tofu was crisp with plenty of sauce! Would definitely recommend and will order from them again.“
