We used to have a Bob Evans Restaurant here in Lake Mary.
Yesterday, we decided that we wanted to have the Bob Evans experience again.

The Fern Park restaurant was marvelous and brought back a lot of memories for us.

Jennie, our waitress, really was nice to us.
She is so friendly and we had a great time visiting with her.

My wife had the traditional turkey, dressing,
and mashed potatoes.
The serving was so plentiful that we took half of it home.

I had one of my favorites.
Salad with grilled beef tips.
Nothing to take home here!

We decided we are going to make this restaurant a frequent stop when we are in the northern part of Orlando.
Hope that Jennie is there to take care of us again.“

“Husband and I were visiting Orlando for the first time and came across Maxine's on Shine. It is such an absolutely incredible charming restaurant! The food was outstanding, with generous and delicious portions, great prices, lots of options and vegan options and drinks but above all -- the hospitality was exceptional! From the greeting from the hostess, discussion with the bartender to the server, busser and owners, they all truly made us feel like a local to the city and appreciative of our business. You really can see the passion from Kirt and Maxine (owners) as it really shines through in every detail in their food, decor and ambiance of the restaurant and you can see that same passion in their staff! My husband and I went for dinner on a Saturday night and had such a wonderful experience that we simply had to go back on Sunday for the brunch before leaving town. Truly an AMAZING experience and such wonderful people! 100 STARS!!!“

“Yum, Yum, Yum! I was invited to lunch at Papa Diesel's Restaurant on my visit to Apopka, FL. From the moment I entered the restaurant, the entire experience was a treat. A friendly family atmosphere greeted me at the door, with the added touch of care that was immaculately given to every detail. The aroma from the kitchen activated my taste buds, as I stared mesmerized by the extensive menu. Finally, I decided to go for the “Diesel Sampler”. The brisket was so succulent that it melted in my mouth. The ribs fell from the bone with such flavor that no sauce was necessary—the pulled pork I used to sample the homemade sauces. As I was told, the sauces will soon be available in the local supermarkets (as I can attest to becoming a family staple). Needless to say, the sausage, chicken, and sides all met with the same flavorful standards. Ending my meal with a dessert, I enjoyed the peach cobbler and shared a nibble of key lime cake with my date. It was an enjoyable afternoon, sharing special time with loved ones in a loving environment, dining on food prepared by Papa Diesel, who loves to cook for folks, and making them feel at home!“

“It was my first time at Hangry Bison (Winter Garden). A friend and I went there to catch up on the lastest happenings after not talking for 3 weeks. I had the Doddzilla with Mac&Cheese as my side. It was all phenomenal food! Be prepared to have messy hands when you order a burger, they are big and juicy and are packed with so much flavor! And, the service is spot on, Madison was on top of all our needs, always had fresh drinks, even the guy who brought our food out as soon as it was ready was amazing, Charlie, after presenting our plates to us, asked if there were any condiments we would like and after he returned with the black pepper I request, instead of asuming he was done he asked us again if there was anything else he could do or get for us, AMAZING customer service! Charlie's job might seem menial as a busboy but, his customer servive was the absolute highlight of our visit! It is so rare these days to see someone care and take onwership in their job, it is quite refreshing! Thanks Charlie, you are impacting the world around you by just being yourself! “The best hamburgers around .. good fish sandwiches an ice cream but the shakes are too creamy for me , but everything else is delicious someone does not know the difference between a hot fudge sundae and a chocolate sundae, we reordered it three times and they still brought us two hot fudge Sundays every time. We finally said forget it and he ate half of it. I myself prefer hot fudge but I will still give them high scores for the food alone“

“Really great wine bar in Winter Park. Great selection of wines! We loved the cheese and meat boards and the flatbreads. We sat outside which was lovely. Our server, Julie went above and beyond to make our afternoon special - massive thank you to her.

Small downsides - very popular so difficult to get a table - wouldn’t recommend for a massive party. We also thought it was a bit cheeky that they charge $4 just to get the wine card.“

“I’ve been coming here for years and always so pleased with my dishes. My all time favorite is the Nutella Waffle and the Fried Green Tomatoes are to die for. The environment can be a hit or miss since it’s right on the side of park ave, a busy street with many cars and people walking through the tables to get to the shops, that’s if you’re sitting outside anyway. If you’re sitting inside, good luck trying to hear anyone as the inside of the establishment is very small and cramped..nonetheless, I do recommend checking this place out for their food, it’s always so good!

Parking: It’s Park Ave.. the worst place in the area to find parking, especially on the weekends.“

The welcoming décor of the restaurant is so enjoyable.

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner sitting next to the fireplace.
Our server, Mari, took great care of us.
She was so friendly and helpful.
Also, we had a chance to visit with Abby, who helped Mari. We have known her for a long time.

The food was very delicious, reasonable prices as well as the atmosphere of the place is very relaxed, the music was at an acceptable volume, the bathrooms were clean.

They have chairs available for small children as well as a varied menu for them.
