“I started going to Athena’s when my son and family first moved to Maitland over 17 years ago. Since 2018 I went there at least once a week. Having to move back to Connecticut, I miss their chicken so much. My grandchildren know when I come to visit that is the first place I stop to eat. Their chicken is always so delicious and moist. I wish they would open a place here ❤️“

“Food was very tasty and really good quality. The portion sizes vs price was spot on. I have to mention that my son has a wheat allergy. It is very hard for us to eat out as a family due to that. But the team we had provided excellent customer service in double checking and making sure that the food we ordered for him was completely wheat free. They were kind, knowledgeable, and all food was made fresh to order. Definitely recommend coming here! I know it’ll be a staple for us in the future.“

“This is one of my favorite chain chicken places. They’re generous with their seasoning and the sauce is good. In this visit they gave us free food, so a plus for me. I like the spice level and how you can choose it, even if the spiciness is inconsistent. The drink is pretty expensive though.“

Order ahead using app. Service is prompt. Orders are accurate. Usually get nuggets fries and a milkshake. I have been here at least 5 times in past 4 months.

Employees are very courteous and trained well. They ask if need help / being served.

Parking lot can be busy / hard to get spot during popular times.

Drive thru usually busy; recommend walking in for pickup.“

“We stopped in before our two hour drive home, and we tried a few menu options and everything was great! I think my son and I finished off half of a bottle of the cream sauce lol I think I'd be fine just ordering that like soup. the fried chicken has enough flavor and crisp to the skin that it was a mellow combination! My husband also remarked that it was clean and well kept. We will definitely drive for this again.“

“Food is so good, got to-go food on our way out of town. Went in right when they opened (which I don't like doing), but they were really nice and did not wait long at all for the food. Will definitely go again if in the area or see one somewhere else!!

The only gripe I have ever had applies to many restaurants: just because the order was made online, don’t universally assume it should be packaged for carry out. This restaurant was clean and the tables does not sticky and the food was cooked fresh and it tasted way better than all the other human beings that are eating from. “We drove 30 minutes just to try Krispy Krunchy Chicken, and it was absolutely worth it! On top of that, it’s HALAL and made fresh to order, piping hot every time. The flavor and crunch were spot on. They also offer Mexican Halal food, which we can’t wait to try on our next visit!“

“From the time we entered the restaurant, we felt important. There was a gentleman at the register with a very nice beard and dark hair today at 12:30. My coworker and I went there to have lunch. This gentleman was so customer service driven. He listened intently, gave us exactly what we ordered And even brought us a cookie as we had lunch three different employees checked on us asking us do we need refills? Is everything OK? Could they take our trash off our table? The customer service today was second to none thank you Chick-fil-A and thank you mystery man that waited on us. I wish I could remember his name. I came to try the new wraps. I love wraps. I don’t like pickles which they have pickles in them and I didn’t realize 🥒 but other than that the wraps are solid. Good price. I got two wraps and a lemonade for $12. There is too much tortilla for the piece of chicken though.“

Jefe running the chicken counter is friendly and eager to please his customers, always hooks you up with just a bit more to show you how much he appreciates all his customers; this keeps you coming back every time.
