“The food was good I had the crab cake it came as one big serving with a lot of crab, for dinner I had the shrimp stuffed crab it came as 4 medium size shrimp stuffed with crabmeat. The dessert I had the banana butter cake it was phenomenal!!!!!!!!! With vanilla icecream the cake was warm and went great with the icecream!!!!! It was really good!! Oh and our server name was Alison she was magnificent!!!!!!!!“

I wouldn't say they are actually famous though. There was nothing special about the lobster roll. Just a good classic roll with a good amount of lobster. I would absolutely go back for one. My wife and I split a cold and a hot. I preferred the cold she preferred the hot. I thought the hot could have used a touch of salt.“

“During our stay at the Ritz Carlton in Fort Lauderdale, we had dinner at the Burlock Coast Restaurant located within the hotel. The food and service were spot on. There is both indoor and outdoor dining. We enjoyed some cocktails and shared a few appetizers, including the shrimp cocktail. After that, we took a lovely walk along the beach, which is right across from the restaurant.“

Our server, Matthew, truly elevated the evening. He was highly experienced, knowledgeable, professional, and gracious—standing out well above the rest of the team. We’ve dined here before with other servers, and none compare. Matthew offered just the right amount of banter, with excellent social awareness and a natural sense of when to engage and when to step back. If you dine here, request him—your experience will be noticeably elevated.
The craft cocktails were excellent, with a wide variety and very reasonable pricing for a Fort Lauderdale oceanfront location. The salad was outstanding, and dinner overall was very solid and well executed.

The food was amazing (we ordered the salmon and sea bass entrees), the ambiance was great both inside and outside on the patio, but most importantly the service was fantastic! Alejandro made the experience a 10/10. He checked in regularly, gave the best overview of the menu, and even chatted with the chef about making a mocktail that wasn’t on the menu. “A while back, I left a negative review, but I wanted to be fair. Lately, I’ve been a big fan of Pleasure of the Sea. Their fried seafood is delicious and perfectly fried, with just the right amount of seasoning. The flop is not too sweet and adds the perfect touch. The staff is also very welcoming and friendly.“

We had a 7 o'clock reservation, once we got seated our server Angie started with our drink orders. Let me tell you the service was impeccable; she was great dealing with 20 of us.
