“Try something different for lunch today in Downtown Fort Lauderdale area, try Blue Tree Cafe Vegan Soul Food by Nika King. This little cafe serves up all the soul, as Nika’s mom, Chef Sharon cooks up all of your soul food favorites, for a very reasonable price, plus special for this month, they have a home made burger for 954 Burger Month. The Black Bean Soul Burger is made with black beans, brown rice, toasted walnuts and a variety of spices and herbs. It’s served on a vegan brioche bun smered with a chipotle compound butter and house dressing, served here with hand cut sweet potato fries. The menu also has a lot of great options too, the crab balls are my favorite! Hours are limited as they are only open Tuesday - Thursday, 11-6 and are cashless business. They are located at 612 NW 9th Ave Ste A in Ft.Lauderdale, close to downtown, but they have do have a private free parking lot. Highly suggest checking them out this week, and trying the burger before the end of the month.“

“I tasted this food a few weeks ago for the first time because my son came home with it and I've been craving it ever since. I just had surgery on Monday, and Friday I was begging my husband to bring me there. I sat in the car while he went in and ordered. He said, they had good customer service and good prices. I ordered the mushroom rice(black), griot, fried plantains and salad. My husband had the same sides but he had the chicken. We loved our food! The presentation, the smell, the taste and portion size was great! I will definitely go back again one day!“

for Sunday Dinner. The food was fresh. The chicken and shrimp were seasoned to perfection. The wait time wasn’t long. The manager was very friendly and polite. She made sure everyone was taken care of and that the orders were placed accordingly. I will come back to this one. Music was just a tad bit loud but eventually got turned down some.“

“We order from Fabulous at least once a week via DoorDash where I work. My favorite dish is the meatloaf with white rice, mac and cheese and yams. Always a great cooked meal. Once the meatloaf was a small portion but every other time the portions are very good. The teas fruit punch and lemonades are really good too.“

“I found this place online and took my out of town family there for breakfast. They have been there over 20 years. The food was excellent for the price. The woman at counter was pleasant. It’s a little off the beaten path, but worth a try.“

“Honestly I was skeptical about his place being a ‘ghost kitchen’ but the food was fresh and delicious.. I feel if you order earlier in the day the Mac and cheese would be creamier but I ordered the fried catfish it’s crispy and well seasoned and the yams were on point and the collards was just right. Honestly would order from them again but might opt out for the Mac and cheese for something else because I like my Mac like creamy and cheese but other than that I can’t complain for ordering from a ‘ghost kitchen’ and the sweet potato pie was a chefs kiss would definitely recommend trying this place I was sketched out from the address and map view but I door dashed and everything was great“

“Pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend visiting Derry's Family Restaurant.

We went for breakfast and the food was so delicious. There were so many dishes we wanted to try. I selected the Big 2 which consisted of eggs, bacon and sausage. The Big 2 comes with pancakes too ?. She had Priscilla's Favorite-2 eggs, 2 sausage patties and a very generous portion of biscuits on gravy.... Hot damn!??

“This is the worst place on the planet, where you have to beg for a glass of water and the bar attender gives you the worst attitude and refuse to give you water. A freaking water!!! She ignores everything you ask, she doesn’t even bother to look at you!!! How?? Why??? Never in my life I have experienced something like this!
