“Went to this little gem twice in two days. After having the most delicious pumpkin ravioli and side salad. Other diners enjoyed soups, salads, mahi tacos, truffle fries and Mediterranean wrap. Everyone encountered here was friendly and helpful with guiding us with our orders. They have a decent beer and wine selection for a small place (if that’s a priority) to accompany your meal. We will definitely put this on our must visit list each trip to the Ft Myers area.“

“Visited from southern Delaware over Thanksgiving. Wasn't sure where to eat Thanksgiving dinner, so Googled and Mel's Diner was serving it. Called to make a reservation, but they were booked. Was told they were accepting walk-ins, call on our way and they'd put us on the list. Was able to get seated right away, party of 2! I had the turkey dinner and my beau had ham dinner... delicious, just like home. Our server (Cody?) was lovely and the owner took the time to check on us. It's no wonder Mel's has great reviews. “I can't say enough great things about Mellow Mushroom! This is the best pizza in town! Whenever I go I always start with the pretzel bites! So yummy and addicting. Then depending on what I am in the mood for I get a salad or a pizza. The salads are all delicious but my favorite is the Greek or bacon Blue Wedge. If I do pizza I get either the Buffalo Chicken or Pacific Rim. I love the thick crust and basically all of them. Then if there is room, for dessert, the chocolate brownie or cookie with ice cream! 😋 oh and they have vegan and gluten free items! Can't go wrong here! The staff: Every person I've met from the cashier, the waitress, even the people cleaning the tables, have been absolutely wonderful, so kind, welcoming and accommodating! Customer service wise I'd say they are the Chick Fil A of restaurants. I honestly can not think of another restaurant where I have enjoyed the atmosphere this much. The Food: Makes me feel like I'm at home! I have been in Florida since October for work, and when I start missing home, their food hits the spot! Everything I've had has been on point, like my grandmother is in the kitchen! I have started planning my meals for the week around their daily specials! Highly recommend!“

“My husband and I came in for a fresh seafood dinner and this restaurant did not disappoint. Our waiter, Justin, was incredible from start to finish. His extensive knowledge of the menu offerings coupled with his exuberance had us smiling and laughing like we were speaking with an old friend. We decided to create our own tasting of sorts from the fine selections of fresh seafood. Our meal included the NOLA Oysters which were baked and served with seasoned butter, the crab cake appetizer which was serving of lump crab held together by a crispy sear and no filler, as well as the chilled seafood tower. Every bite from start to finish was delectable. We had crab, lobster, tuna tartar, shrimp and oysters. Each bite was more spectacular than the previous as we sampled each offering. We have already decided the next time we are in town that this restaurant will be a must! 5 Stars out of 5!!“

“Come for the oysters stay for the swordfish BLT. We had a dozen East Coast oysters and four West Coast, absolutely outstanding. Additionally they have a bottomless Mimosa, and the swordfish BLT was large enough for my husband and I to share, knowing we were going to order the homemade donuts for dessert. “The entire bar staff were amazing but there was one rockstar that I want to called out and her name is Evelyn. Evelyn was always attentive and friendly to all of the tables located both in the inside bar and outside seating area. She always made sure that everyone was taken care of and always had a smile on her face. I would highly recommend asking for Evelyn if you go there to eat.“

I also love that they offer GF, DF, vegan options and are very mindful of food allergies. I want to especially thank Skye! She always remembers that our daughter loves a side of basil and black olives with her pizza and before we even ask she has it ready for her. It may not seem like a big deal but it means the world to us! Thank you for the intentionality and delicious pizza every time!“

“Found this place by accident, and will definitely be back. Great service and even better food. The juices were unique and refreshing, and the menu had something for everyone in my family. Being our first time they offered us some of their Holey Donuts which were a big hit. Everyone enjoyed their breakfasts, but the holiday special Double Bacon Parmesan Hash was the star. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!“
