Firehouse Subs Gainesville offers a variety of experiences. Many customers appreciate the friendly staff and excellent customer service, especially when it comes to handling allergies with care. For example, if a sandwich is made without cheese due to an allergy, staff quickly remake it to ensure safety, showing true customer service. Recent orders have included the hook and ladder sub and mac & cheese, which customers found really good, making it a popular choice for delivery. Some customers have noted that the food quality can vary; while some enjoy the flavors, others feel certain ingredients can be overpowering. Despite this, many find the restaurant enjoyable and often prefer it over other sandwich chains like Subway. The staff, including long-term team members recognized as Employee of the Month, generally contribute to a positive atmosphere. Overall, Firehouse Subs Gainesville has potential, especially for those seeking friendly service and flavorful sandwiches.
