“Found this neat little place for drinks and a quick bite to eat while waiting to check into our room in the SoHo area. Great vibe and the food was fantastic! Happy Hour menu had a good selection of Tapas and drinks and was very reasonably priced. The bartenders were very personable.“

“I’m in Greece. No, not really. We just found the best Greek restaurant ever. It’s called Psomi. My goodness, so delicious. On February 20, our first time here, we had bread basket/psomi bread, le meunier butter, organic extra virgin olive oil, jam, and Greek scrambled with caramelized onion, roasted cherry tomato, creamy feta, grilled baguette. We liked the restaurant so much we came back the next day. We had chicken souvlaki - Greek yogurt brined organic breast, tzatziki, tomato, red onion, stuffed with cut fries, wrapped in a warm pita. Then we came back again on Sunday February 23 for some Greek style breakfast.“

“Enjoyed our first stop in Tampa at Flan Factory! Esther greeted us with enthusiasm and asked if we had ever been there. After saying it was our first time in Tampa as well as her son's restaurant, she gave us what she thought we'd love. The food and Flan was AMAZING!! I later went inside to talk with her and she and her husband were the most genuinely hospitable people you could ever meet. She recommended great beaches, etc. And we exchanged information about our cultures and favorite places to visit. She loves Nashville ❤️. Told her to come visit us in Tupelo for the Elvis Museum. Hope she and her husband visit. Please look us up. Thank you for an amazing impression of Tampa and for the best Cuban sandwich and authentic fried rice and the best Flan EVER! Love you guys!“

“Such a cool little coffee trailer in Seminole Heights! Situated directly next to La Segunda. Limited parking. The coffee is located in a trailer and they have all homemade syrups. Got the Florida man, which is an orange creamsicle flavor and also a cold brew. They have a cute and peaceful courtyard with plenty of seating you can enjoy your coffee and treats in. Service and delivery was super quick!!“

“This place was so delicious, we came in twice in one week. So impressed with the quality of food and the ambiance. I have been a fan of Bern's Steak House since 2015, however, we have never eaten at their sister restaurant. Last week was our 1st time visiting Haven. It was our son's birthday and we decided to try this restaurant featuring New American small plates, wine & cocktails as per recommendation of my friend. Tuna Sashimi, Hamachi Sashimi, Shaved Beef Taco, Seared Foie Gras, Cheese platter and Coal Grilled Octopus as appetizers were all 10/10. As for the main course we opted in for Glacier 51 Sea Bass (O.M.G.), Arctic Char, 8oz Filet Mignon (perfectly trimmed) and 10 oz Dry-Aged Strip. Drinks, 'Margarita', 'Lemon Drop' and 'Moscow Mule', were good as well with the exception of the 'Duck Duck Jeep' (it was an odd one). We did not try their desserts (both times) as 1st time visiting we brought a cake for our son's birthday, however, we were never super impressed with Berns' dessert room. I know it may sound weird to many as they are known for their desserts, but truthfully, we have had desserts at other local restaurants that we prefer over Berns'. Service by Madeline K. was on point, however, she accidentally forgot to place the main course item for our birthday boy, so he ended up getting his filet about 15 minutes after everyone else received their meals. It did not spoil our night as she brought out the cake with large candle with sparkles and it was fantastic! Our son was so surprised and I was able to capture some awesome pictures of him with his cake and candles. Overall an excellent experience by everyone: valet guy, bussers, food runners, hostesses and the wait staff. We also appreciated the fact that we were seated at a larger table/couch with brighter lights vs more of a romantic, darker tables. Our second time we requested to sit outside which was nice as it was a pleasant evening. Haven's tacos are my husband's favorite in Tampa and we ordered 16 of them that night. If you are not up to dressing up in your best outfits, but would like a nice quality meal, Haven is your spot!“

While drinks weren't great they weren't bad. The margarita was better than the sangria. The appetizer sampler was delicious as was all of the food. “Yummy French food, but unfortunately, the fact that the owner chooses to overcharge customers at 8.5% taxes instead of Hillsborough county's rate of 7.5% is upsetting. I have been to this restaurant a few times now and each time their food is fresh and consistently good. They have a few small tables outside right off of N. Tampa street and I love being seated there when it is nice out. Parking is anywhere you can find it (I'd use Park Mobile app instead of parking @ 717 Parking lots - they rip clients off by charging a flat $13-$30 fee per vehicle). Some of my favorite items on Chez Faby's menu are: Lobster Bisque, Avocado Toast with Salmon + Egg and Homemade Breakfast Potatoes. My husband really enjoyed his French Onion soup. Tiramisu, however, was a bit of a let down. Not sure if it was supposed to be frozen, but it was and that made it disappointing. Overall 4 stars only because the food is really tasty. If I were the owner, I would comply with Hillsborough County's tax rate. Even if your customers don't notice and complain, a business is still required to either refund over collected sales tax or turn that amount into the state. In fact, charging sales tax without a sales tax license from a state or charging too much sales tax and pocketing the excess can even lead to criminal charges.“
