“Alamod Caribbean Restaurant is a hidden gem that truly deserves all five stars! The flavors are authentic, rich, and vibrant. The griot was perfectly seasoned, tender, and the pikliz added the perfect kick. The staff were warm and welcoming. The portions were very generous, and the prices were fair for the quality and experience . Alamod Caribbean Restaurant is a must-visit!“

The owners are so incredibly friendly and make you feel welcomed the moment you walk in 😊 I got the brown stew chicken and it was phenomenal! 😋 I can’t wait to go back and try everything on the menu! I HIGHLY recommend giving Lik’s a try! You will be happy you did 😃 and so will your belly!“

“On holiday from London, UK and exploring downtown Miami, I stumbled upon JRK on Biscayne – and I’m so glad I did! I ordered the jerk chicken with rice and peas, which comes with three veg sides. I went for steamed cabbage, broccoli and plantain, with jerk BBQ sauce, plus a beef patty to start. Honestly, it’s the best I’ve tasted in a long time – authentic, packed with flavour, and cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. If you’re in town, you have to stop by. You won’t be disappointed! I ate it too quick to take photos, sorry - next time :)“

“The food is terrible and a complete rip-off—definitely poor quality. Anyone giving this place 4 stars is either intoxicated or has never tasted good food. The Lo Mein is mushy, tasteless, and made me want to throw up. The fried rice is soggy, overly salty, and has no flavor. Absolutely disgusting.“

“lemme tell allyuh something...most of Trini people know the difference between dhalpuri and paratha, but new customers? Dey clueless! I seeing de lady at de counter asking people which one dey want, and half of dem looking lost, getting frustrated, and real confused. If all ya don’t start educating dem( whether is a lil sign or just a quick breakdown) how new business gonn grow?
Yuh cyah just cater to de regulars and expect fresh faces to figure it out on dey own. Help dem out“

“What a wonderful clean and friendly place to come when I’m in town! I asked the cashier can I try a sample of the rice and beans and the djion djion rice and the owner brought it out from the back and both of them were absolutely delicious! She even let me know that I can do half-and-half if I would like. I definitely recommend this place for all your Haitian food needs! I would definitely give them a 10 stars if I could!!“

“What a great place! Filled with love and good food. A Christian family owned business. Great food. Delicious house made cake slices. Vanilla rum cake was incredible, but need to come back for the carrot and velvet cake. Delicious and nutritious fresh juices-ginger mango and soursop. This place is good for the belly and even better, food for the soul. Delfena has great testimonies to share. About God's goodness and faithfulness!“

“had the chance to try Ross Bahamian Conch Shack at a recent health fair, and they definitely delivered on flavor. Here's what stood out:
Wings & Fries:
The wings had a solid Southern-style base with a Caribbean flavor twist — well-seasoned, juicy, and crispy without being greasy. The fries were golden and crisp, a perfect side that held up well even outside a traditional restaurant setting.
Conch Salad:
I also tried the conch salad, and it was fresh and tasty with a good mix of citrus and texture. The only thing it needed was a bit more spice or heat to really bring it to life — a dash of pepper or hot sauce would’ve taken it to the next level.“

“I love it! From New York in Miami to celebrate my sisters birthday! When I tell you I wished I found this place sooner during our week trip, I TRULY TRULY wish we had found this place sooner. All them club and lounges by Wynwood are nothing compared to this place. It’s home away from home. The food is soooooo good and the atmosphere…..OMGGG, incredible. The staff, host and the manager are so nice and hospitable. We came for ladies night and I can honestly say we was pampered to the max!!! DEFINITELY COMING HERE AGAIN WHEN WE VISIT MIAMI! I highly recommend coming here cuz you gunna have such a great time! Look them up on TikTok and their website. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!“

“Absolutely incredible!!!!
how can they afford this.,
The food is cooked fresh and put out there and you have a menu selection of different Rices and meats and vegetables a plate that's less than $6 I don't know how they do it... And it taste great... You will get a choice of rice a meat and a side of vegetable and a drink for less than $6..... And large portions BTW...
Typically when I order there I can split my plate for noon and afternoon meals... Again.... This is $6!!!!!!“

“Let's talk about authentic. The atmosphere...is just like those chill spots back home in Jamaica. The food....the chicken..the pork.. the CONCH. Amazing. Well seasoned to the bone. No knock off oven jerk.. REAL outside.. on the grill Jerk. You won't regret it. Go Jerk...Keep it up. So far you have the BEST jerk in Miami“

“super dope spot, very good food. if you are wondering, the dishes aren't so much fusions of Caribbean and Chinese, but rather half of the menu is Caribben and half Chinese. and it's the same chefs so there's ofc some cross pollination there but just to mention that since I was curious myself before I first came. really great service, good prices, def recommend coming here“

“One of my favorite Carribean Restaurants. I have been eating there for years. They make all favorites: Bouillon, Tassot Cabrit (fried Goat meat); Tassot Codinn(fried Turkey), griot (fried Pork). Their foods are a reminder of Haiti. Thx for bringing home to Us. Their customer service gives you that warmth, that comfort, that joy.
You guys rock.“

“Naomi’s is a pretty decent spot for Haitian food, which is fairly hard to find. I got jerk chicken which I felt was under-seasoned, phenomenal mayi kole, and fairly bland collard greens. But for the cost and amount of food you get, it’s pretty good.“

“So living farrrr away in Seattle you know I just couldn't wait to get here. The Rice Pudding (Black pudding) is what I was craving for. And as usual, they did not disappoint! Also, while there, I heard this lady ordering saltfish with bread. Say What??!! A saltfish sandwich on butter bread?! Happy wasn't even the emotion I was feeling. Everything I've had from here has been tasty. The prices are also reasonable ?“
