It's an update on The Center for Subtropical Affairs, which was a little cooler, cheaper and more raw than Understory, but the new venue, to be honest, has better sound, drink options, and food options. It's just a dope spot, albeit a bit expensive, like most places in Miami.“

Our waiter made us feel like royalty - he provided great recommendations and had a delightful attitude the entire night, from supporting us with wine tasting to taking a photo for us to remember the night and so much more. Then, there was the food - it was incredible. The steak was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing and the mashed potatoes (our waiter's recommendation) was the best that either of us had ever had. “First time going to Kubo and the food, service, and atmosphere was all great. I had the Hawaiian Poke bowl, and my partner had to the Unagi (Eel) Poke bowl. We were both very happy and satisfied with our main dish. The miso soup was little over salted but a splash of water calmed that down real quick. I ordered an app of Tako Yaki which I also enjoyed, just wished they gave 6 instead of 5 balls lol.
My friend that was there as well ordered like the fried chicken bao bun. It was so good she placed a 2nd order after getting her main dish of Shoyu Ramen, which she also thoroughly enjoyed. Had to loosen a button after that meal
We do plan on coming back to again to try more of their great food and maybe even get a dessert because I saw on the menu there was a basque cheesecake that I really wanna try 😅“

Parking: We came here specifically to charge our EV. We parked for free at the superchargers, but you do have to pay to use the chargers. There are also free level 2 chargers that you can use.“

“The shnitzel and red cabbage they serve is on point! We also enjoyed the spaetzle (very dry if order without the cheese). They really know what they are doing when it comes to texture and balance. We have ordered this dish before and the first time we did not get pickles. It was a great addition to the dish and really added great acidity. The 4 stars instead of 5 is because the potatoes were much bigger last time and cooked perfectly. This time around they were small and dried out. The portions are large, the musician provides a nice ambiance without being too loud, and we have not had an issue getting a lot minute table on weekends.“
