“Great patties!!!!!! However, wrapping the CoCo bread in plastic makes the bread sweat (wet) and gooey to the touch and taste. This is not pleasing to the eye or taste buds. Please brown bag the CoCo bread same as the patties!!!“

“Cliffs Restaurant in Hollywood Florida is a hidden gem that offers a delightful experience from the mouthwatering dishes to the attentive services. My vision- impaired mother and my uncle dined there recently, for their Thursday night fish special, and I was impressed by how attentive they were to them. While the aesthetic of the building could use some improvement, the music and general atmosphere was notably nostalgic. I could tell my mother enjoyed herself.“

“My family and I traveled to Miami for a mini vacation, we went to Ft. Lauderdale to visit and found this amazing restaurant. It’s call the “Peoples Choice” and it has amazing Jamaican cuisine. It’s a must to visit! When we visit again from Indianapolis, Indiana, we will definitely be back for an awesome meal. The owners we great people!“

“We were visiting Fort Lauderdale and wanted some Jamaican food so I was told that Donna's Caribbean restaurant sells Jamaican food and was quiet please. I purchased the king fish and curry goat dinners and the rest of my guess got Ox tail dinner and stew chicken.“

“I stopped going about a year or two ago due to the drop in the quality of food. I decided to check them out again, because someone said it was under new management. I was greeted, but it could have been better. Upon asking about the food, it was like pulling teeth. Could have explained the menu and help with the options and get me a bit more interested in what they offered. Then, when she started to explain, she was flying through everything and I could barely hear her. The bottom line is, amp up the customer service and be a bit more friendly and welcoming. On the other hand, I purchased the curry chicken, peas n rice, and cabbage. Got home and saw that I had a plate full of rice and cabbage, no plantains(at least 2 small pieces) 1drumstick cut in half, half of a half of thigh and a small bone or two that was chopped up when they cut the chicken. That pissed me off, because $10.42 at least let me get a whole chicken leg quarter, two legs or something, is all I'm saying.“

“This was my second visit to The Dutch Pot Restaurant in Miami Gardens Fort Lauderdale, and it won’t be my last! The true gem of this place is the staff. From the moment I walked in, I noticed the genuine, friendly interaction between the staff and customers – no impatience or condescension, just warm and welcoming service. It’s rare to find such a personable atmosphere! The food was, as always, incredible. I had the curried goat, which was perfectly spiced and tender, and the oxtail was rich and flavorful. Both dishes were spot-on! To top it off, we were given a tour of the newly opened, exclusive upstairs dining area (pictures to come!), which looks fantastic. Kudos to the owners for continuously elevating the dining experience here. Overall, this is a fantastic business that deserves to be replicated – amazing food, a welcoming team, and a beautifully designed space. I ordered the jerk chicken lunch special, and it did not disappoint! The portion was perfect for me—not too much, but still filling. It came with a whole leg and thigh, plus two dumplings, and I was full and happy. The flavor of the jerk chicken was amazing—just the right amount of spice and seasoning. On top of that, the price was incredibly affordable—only $6.00 plus tax. I left completely satisfied and will definitely be back!“
