“I always love coming to the Island grill! Today is the BEST day I’ve had here meeting Brandon at the bar! He is SO warm, helpful, provides THE BEST service, and just gave me the best keys vibes on my day off. What a breath of fresh air! Jessica was also so incredibly friendly and added to one of the most relaxing days I’ve had in a long time. The food was excellent, all around just a great experience!“

“One of our favorite restaurants in Islamorada! The views are amazing, the food is so fresh and delicious and the people are warm and welcoming. Host Brian always sets us up with a great table! “We were on a family vacation and tried the Shrimp Shack after a suggestion from Capt Jake who took us offshore fishing. We took the Mahi we caught to the Shrimp Shack and they prepare the most delicious dishes you will find in the Keys. We actually came back a second night as well. They prepared the fish 7 or 8 different ways for us and each way was phenomenal. Not only was the fish good, the service was excellent. The food arrived quickly and we really felt taken care of…. like family. The restaurant is not crowded so there is no wait time. There was no water view but if you can get past that, you will have the best food around. We tried several other restaurants in the area but none were as good. The photo was just the first visit. The second visit we had the fish prepared completely different. Check out the portion of the menu labeled “Hook and Cook” for all of your options.“

“Been here a few times in the last year while traveling to the keys and I have loved eating here every time I've been there. Steven, Emily, Yosel, and the staff were all very welcoming and treated my family and I amazingly from the moment we entered to when we left. Food was great, drinks, all of it. I definitely recommend to visit if you are touring the keys or live by the area.“

“I can’t speak highly enough of our experience. Party of 6 with fresh catch prepared by Chef Michael. He prepared our Wahoo 3 ways; sashimi and two hot preparations served with rice. All being self proclaimed foodies, not one person at the table denied it was one of the best meals of our lives! We did enjoy two of their sushi rolls and they were also fantastic! Chef Michael and our server were so friendly and made our experience a definite 10! Everyone needs to visit them! Thank you for a very memorable evening, we will return every chance we get!“

“Love this restaurant! 10/10. We had the fish and chip-best I have ever had! We also had the key lime pie because you have to when you are in the Keys! Soooo good! Then there is the atmosphere-tarpons swimming by, pelicans floating, and the view-wow! To add to that there was great music from a singer (didn’t catch his name) and a wonderful waitress! Definitely will be back!“

“Food was amazing! Our waitress was lovely, very knowledgeable about every dish and so sweet! We started with the escargot and French onion soup, both delicious! For our entrees we had the grouper and truffle gnocchi, very fresh and great flavor with both dishes. We then finished with the homemade lava cake YUM!“
