“We love this place. The food and coffee are always excellent. Love that this place has hash browns and not those horrible homefried potatoes everyone else has the eggs Benedict and scramble bowls are awesome, as are the waffles. The service is pretty quick and they’re always very nice and check on you often. Usually the wait isn’t too long either when we’ve been there on weekends.Parking: Very small parking lot usually full but we’ve never had a problem finding street parking.“

Nice cashier but the cupcakes tasted absolutely bizarre. Almost like the ingredients were long expired or spoiled or something.“
“I just had the best bacon egg and cheese sandwich! It comes on a croissant, and it is huge! And tasty! I had a choice of sides with it, would have preferred just the sandwich, but I chose the fruit. I will eat the fruit later, but it looks fresh and tasty. I actually ordered two, but the first sandwich was extremely filling, the second will be supper. The price is not bad for what you get, $8.99 for the sandwich and side. I had mine delivered and I didn't have to wait forever to get it. I highly recommend Metro Diner on Roosevelt Blvd.“
“I absolutely love Diners! And Oceana did not disappoint. Once I saw they serve Liver and Onions for lunch I knew I had to go. My friend and I arrived after the lunch rush ready for some comfort food. We were greeted by Santa anxiously awaiting his next phone call. We settled into a booth and were greeted by our server. She quickly returned with delicious sweet tea just like my grandma made. It wasn't long before our liver, onions, real mashed potatoes and vegetable medley arrived. It was everything I hoped for. It was, Rainey, damp and the perfect comfort food for our late afternoon lunch. Their menu is vast starting with an awesome breakfast and then lunch with several comfort food choices, sandwiches and salads. The food was delicious, service was great and upon leaving Santa advised I had made the nice list!“
“If you ever want to eat out and still feel at home, this is the place. Everyone was so friendly and the place has that "home town" feel to it. This was my second time here and it was just as amazing as it was my first time. My server mentioned that everything is made from scratch and you can tell. The food was amazing. I need to return and try the lunch/dinner menu and I'll update the review when I do. Definitely, worth a stop if you are close.“
“Love Charlie's Diner for breakfast! I usually get the breakfast pita or omelette with homefries. The homefries are good and crispy. My husband loves the sausage gravy and biscuits. The bacon is good and crispy too. Really attentive and friendly service... Bailey is Awesome! Highly recommend for a good country breakfast with great service.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly options including smiley face pancakes.“

“Consistently great food and service. On my most recent visit in March 2024, we were a table of 6 arriving in the midst of the post-church breakfast crowd. Hostess estimated a 15-20 minute wait; we were seated in 15 minutes. The food was outstanding and plentiful. Strongly recommend.“
