“I just had the best bacon egg and cheese sandwich! It comes on a croissant, and it is huge! And tasty! I had a choice of sides with it, would have preferred just the sandwich, but I chose the fruit. I will eat the fruit later, but it looks fresh and tasty. I actually ordered two, but the first sandwich was extremely filling, the second will be supper. The price is not bad for what you get, $8.99 for the sandwich and side. I had mine delivered and I didn't have to wait forever to get it. I highly recommend Metro Diner on Roosevelt Blvd.“

“Love their interior design. Really feels like you're by the dock or beach front. I left my Stanley cup there and they kept it for me. Food is good and reasonable price. Always happy to accommodate. Hopefully we will be back very soon as we do have to drive 30 mins to get there.“

“Love this place! We go five days a week for breakfast. They have amazing servers a wonderful owner and the food is perfect. Very fresh eggs homemade biscuits and I’ve never had service without a smile! By far my vote for the best breakfast in Jacksonville if you want a nice diner home-cooked meal feel! We have literally stopped going to other places for breakfast and only come here. Ask for Bailey I promise you won’t be disappointed.!“

“I went there and had their bacon cheeseburger. This was the best burger I tasted fluffy bun juicy patty wasn’t smashed at all. I had to take a box of fries home because I was full just off the burger. The prices are amazing here. I normally don’t write reviews but this deserves a 5 star from me“

“Excellent place! Came here tonight during their soft opening. Ordered Pollo Asado. I’ve had this dish in Mexico, and this place does it better. Both the food and the service are excellent. The food has flavor, the right amount of spice (both seasoning and heat), and the service was pointed and personal. A hearty well done to Sam and the team. We will be back for more! Highly recommend this restaurant.“

“This Metro Diner location is nice to visit. The food is good and the staff are so nice and friendly. Everything was clean, our food came fast. I lost me debit card there and they kept it for me. This location will not disappoint.“

“Took my kiddos this weekend after my daughter's 5k and am impressed with the changes we experienced. It has been at least a year since we last visited, give or take. From the ceiling tile art to the merch beyond the register, to the happy & present staff members, the changes are both positive and noticeable. One of the highlights for me was watching the owner, whom I met during this visit, interact with EVERY person in the building! He supports the community, including the school just up the road! It was a breath of fresh air to say the least and we will definitely visit more often now!“
