“I just had the best bacon egg and cheese sandwich! It comes on a croissant, and it is huge! And tasty! I had a choice of sides with it, would have preferred just the sandwich, but I chose the fruit. I will eat the fruit later, but it looks fresh and tasty. I actually ordered two, but the first sandwich was extremely filling, the second will be supper. The price is not bad for what you get, $8.99 for the sandwich and side. I had mine delivered and I didn't have to wait forever to get it. I highly recommend Metro Diner on Roosevelt Blvd.“

“One of our favorite brunch places in Jax! Simple meals yet satisfying! We have been here a few times and always have a great meal. Steak and Eggs with Buttermilk Pancake is always a must when we visit. We have also enjoyed their Omelettes, Fish and Grits, and their Corned Beef Hash. Even though they are always busy, the service is consistently fantastic. Highly recommended!“

“Love this place! We go five days a week for breakfast. They have amazing servers a wonderful owner and the food is perfect. Very fresh eggs homemade biscuits and I’ve never had service without a smile! By far my vote for the best breakfast in Jacksonville if you want a nice diner home-cooked meal feel! “I went there and had their bacon cheeseburger. This was the best burger I tasted fluffy bun juicy patty wasn’t smashed at all. I had to take a box of fries home because I was full just off the burger. The prices are amazing here. I normally don’t write reviews but this deserves a 5 star from me“

“Took my kiddos this weekend after my daughter's 5k and am impressed with the changes we experienced. It has been at least a year since we last visited, give or take. From the ceiling tile art to the merch beyond the register, to the happy & present staff members, the changes are both positive and noticeable. One of the highlights for me was watching the owner, whom I met during this visit, interact with EVERY person in the building! He supports the community, including the school just up the road! It was a breath of fresh air to say the least and we will definitely visit more often now!“
