“These guys epitomize what it means to be a good neighbor. Tonight the power went out in my corner. I called it into JEA and trampled out to find some AC, a place to charge up my Phone and dinner. Between the electric and some work brouhaha I wanted no part of, I was flustered in ordering and blurted out my current predicament. The counter guy brought me a complimentary water, graciously let me use a power outlet, and let me get myself reset before returning to deal with JEA and what turned out to be a busted transformer. I was rushed or hurried out. There was no side eye of “how long is he going to be here” or even for the meager order I put in to justify my presence. In that moment they took care of my physically (food and water) and psychologically (safe place, charged up phone, etc). I was already a fan of this place before this hiccup in life. Now I’m a grateful patron who love this neighbor BIG time. To these guys it may not have seemed like they did much but in that moment you guys rocked it like all stars. So don’t go to these guys for their AMAZING food (I could have their samosas daily and be so happy). Go and celebrate what a WONDERFUL part of the community they are… forever in your debt for that hour of peace you guys gave.“

“This is my grand daughter's favorite place for brunch. Grandma your going to love it! She was right, my first Filipino experience. I can't remember what I had, but I ate it all and sampled her and my Son's entree as well. The food, the atmosphere and the hospitality of Evana will be my go to for my next experience. The food and service there never fail to impress. I often find myself declaring Indian cuisine as my top pick among all the international flavors out there! The warmth of Indian hospitality is truly delightful. Our waiter, Akhil, is exceptional—his attentive and meticulous service stands out every time. The restaurant consistently maintains a pristine, fresh, and elegantly appointed atmosphere. Akhil and the manager went above and beyond to make our anniversary unforgettable. They surprised us with a scrumptious slice of mango cheesecake, adorned with a candle, and handed me a lighter to ignite it and mark the occasion! How thoughtful is that? “We were looking for a place to have Brunch and a lady outside of the restaurant gave us a Menu and invited us to enter. She took care of us and recommended The Scallops, the huevos rancheros, and the ribeye, we really enjoyed a wonderful meal, the atmosphere and the kind waitress. We can not wait to try other dishes“

“Wow! I did not expect to love this place as much as I did! This is the best ramen I’ve had in Florida by a long shot. I got the Miso Ramen and Takoyaki as an App. The Miso broth had so much depth and complexity. The brisket on top was so delicious too. I wish the egg was more of a ramen egg, but the onsen tamago was cooked to perfection. I had no seen pickles in a ramen but they paired so well with the broth. The noodles were perfectly chewy as well.

The atmosphere was Izakaya like when sitting at the bar. The Japanese TV shows, anime figurines, and selection of Japanese beers all felt very on point!

Ramen is one of the food that is better left to the professionals and I’d say this restaurant knows what it is doing!“

“We always appreciate the tanginess Of the sauce and the perfect chewy crust. Definitely go for one of the large salads and if you haven’t tried the wings, they are killer and as big as advertised. Richard is often our server and he is on top of it. Never a bad experience at Carmines!“

“We visited River & Post last night for the first time for a birthday dinner after hearing so many good things, and I can honestly say the praise was very well deserved. Everything from the quality and timeliness of our meals to the friendly, informative and attentive servers were exceptional, which sadly is not a common trait in upscale restaurants. I had the Broiled Ocean Platter which consisted of broiled mahi, three sea scallops and four large shrimp served in a citrus herb beurre blanc sauce, whipped potatoes and beautiful crisp tender veggies. All of my entre ingredients were cooked perfectly, the buttery lemon sauce was such a nice compliment to this dish and let all the distinct flavors of each seafood component shine. Too often sauces can be overpowering and used to moisten overcooked and flavorless seafood. I’m glad I opted out of a predinner salad or appetizer as this entre is very substantial and I wanted to save some room for dessert. My husband also very much enjoyed his choice of the Seared Filet Mignon served a mustard demi-glace, confit potatoes and sauteed broccolini. The steak was perfectly prepared to his medium rare request and he raved about how flavorful it was. Both of our meals arrived hot, beautifully plated, and we devoured them completely. Then the decision came for dessert. Since we were sharing, we opted for the wonderfully decadent Chocolate Mousse Torte. This torte could easily be called “Death by Chocolate” due to its intense deep chocolate flavor which had a more silken fudge like consistency than a typical fluffy mousse, but still seemed surprisingly light as the chocolate just melted in our mouths. The torte was served with a chocolate drizzle, freshly whipped cream and plump blackberries. What a wonderful finish to this birthday dinner! Thank you, R&P, for this great dining experience. We’ll definitely be back, and we won’t be waiting for the next birthday to do so.“

“So let me tell you. I love their sushi. Good food. Great price. Always good service. Now a beef. I used to eat there twice a month. They give you fried Oreo for desert. Complements of the house. But when I order pick up guess what. They wanted to charge $6 for something they give me free. Used to be a regular and hate to even say something negative but that’s just not right.“

Could have used a little more tzatziki but other then that the flavor was really good. Not an over the top place just a nice chill feel to it. Staff was nice. Make sure to get the pita bread warm! The staff at seasons 52 town center Jacksonville Florida was amazing and accepted the situation as if he was there! From the bar tender Michael who served him a drink to the receptionist who Renee who made us fell very welcome and treated our friend with respect and dignity to our waiter Blake who also went the extra mile to make our experience exceptional! We would like to recognize these people for helping us make our friends night out so very special we will be back every year because of them and the service, not to mention the food was amazing! From first contact through set up Aaron the manager and Sonny the owner handled the event like it was a white glove gala. Their communication was on point leaving no room for worries. We ordered 1x Full Pan of Vale Rice 1x Full Pan of Cilantro lime Brown Rice and beans 1x Full Pan of Chipotle Mac n Cheese ( twice baked with extra cheese topped ) 1x Full Pan of Spinach and Arugula Salad 1x Full Pan of Baja Summer Kale Salad 1x Full Pan of Roasted Broccoli 1x Full Pan of Turmeric Onions and Peppers 2x Full Pan of BBQ Chicken 2x Full Pan of Turkey Spinach Feta Meatballs 2x Chipotle Ranch 2x Vale Vinaigrette 1x full pan of Almond Butter protein Brownies 20x white chocolate macadamia cookies 20x chocolate chip cookies. The meatballs are so yummy as well as the brownies. Everything was scrumptious and so fresh. I look forward to the opportunity to work with them again on my next event.“

“I’m from out of town and stay in the Baymeadows area for 2 extended periods during the calendar year. Metro Diner Southside has been my go-to breakfast stop for the past 6 years. The staff is so much fun to deal with, and it’s flattering to know that they recognize me whenever I stop in. The usual fare for me is standard food (omelettes/fried egg, meat, hash browns, toast); however, today’s choice was the pork chop & eggs special. Thoughts? This needs to be placed on the regular menu. Wow! The pork chop was “over-the-top” delicious and was a perfect match with the other items on my plate (OE eggs/HBs/biscuit). I’m hoping (praying?) that this dish stays on the specials list through this weekend! Special shoutouts to my 3 favorite servers (Rachel, Jacklyn, & Monica-all in a tie for 1st place) and to today’s greeter (whose name I can’t recall and apologize for that). All of them are friendly, efficient, and lots of fun to chat with. Keep up the great work. See y’all over the weekend!“

“YES, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BODRUM MEDITERRANEAN KITCHEN!!! 😁 Our team was TDY at JAX and decided to go for some Mediterranean food. This place is a hidden gem it seems as only a few people were eating in but we did notice a lot of to-go orders... We were seated in a cozy area of the restaurant by a window. Our dinner experience was like having a family meal where the meal was sooo good everyone stopped talking because all of us were too busy enjoying our food. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. This is by far the best Mediterranean restaurant I have dined at. Will definitely come back when we are back in the area again.“

“We had 2 pm reservations on Thanksgiving Day and were surprised only a short wait to be seated. We spend every holiday here and have always loved every aspect of our dining experience. Things started off great but within fifteen minutes we were surrounded by a large party of 20 which seemed to take all the servers attention and the Gauchos never had any meats left by time they got into the back corner where we were. We finally flagged down our waiter (I believe his named was Marcus or Morgan) he was amazing he got meats to our table and apologized profusely-he was a gem. We are in the business so we made the best of the situation. Upon leaving we were walking to our car and I mentioned that next visit we would not choose a holiday but maybe a weeknight and a young manager heard me and immediately called us over and we explained. He knew exactly where we had been sandwiched in and he took the time to rectify the situation and I have to say he was amazing-problem solved and what a professional staff all around! Hats off to the manager-real professional!“

“I just had the best bacon egg and cheese sandwich! It comes on a croissant, and it is huge! And tasty! I had a choice of sides with it, would have preferred just the sandwich, but I chose the fruit. I will eat the fruit later, but it looks fresh and tasty. I actually ordered two, but the first sandwich was extremely filling, the second will be supper. The price is not bad for what you get, $8.99 for the sandwich and side. I had mine delivered and I didn't have to wait forever to get it. I highly recommend Metro Diner on Roosevelt Blvd.“
