“A good friend of mine recommended this place, we were not disappointed. We were greeted warmly by the owner who is from Paris. Our server was also French, she was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had the pompano special and the filet mignon which were both outstanding. It was such an authentic experience, our new go to restaurant!“

“Great food, excellent cocktails. Been here several times always sit at bar area. My notes would be, bar area is absolutely FREEZING! Which is crazy to have AC blasting whilst having all the doors open in the place. Secondly the service at bar is always slow unless you're a "regular", as all the times I've been I notice the people the bartenders know by name get top notch instant service and we always have to try to get their attention which gets frustrating. Again the food and cocktails are very very good, and the outdoor areas are nice, but the bartenders and the AC are the only things we think the owners / management should evaluate for a better overall experience.Kid-friendliness: Nice play area in rear.“

“Food here is always good, the view is excellent, it is right at the inlet and looks across to the Jupiter lighthouse. It's a very beachy atmosphere with the tables outside. The only downside I feel is that there is no table service. You have to order your food at the bar and then pick it up at the bar. Otherwise this is a favorite place for me and my friends!“
“We chose Tommy Bahamas for my nephews’s birthday dinner last Saturday night. Every part of our evening was superb! Starting with our wonderful server, Kendall who was perfectly attentive and pleasant and had us laughing the whole night. Her suggestions about the menu were spot on. She engaged with my 3 year old granddaughter and most importantly, suggested that we put in her order first so that she wouldn’t have to wait for everyone else’s dinners to come out. I love that! Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals and as for me, the short rib with mashed potatoes was one of the best I have ever had. Chef John made sure that our food was perfect, delicious and beautifully presented. We did some shopping at the Tommy Bahama store (attached) while we waited for our food and everyone we dealt with in the shop was wonderful as well. We all left there talking about that this would be a dinner we will remember for years to come! Such a fun wonderful evening! Thanks to John, Kendall and everyone at Tommy Bahamas for making it a night to remember.“

“The food's pretty good it's great it's all right I mean it's a very comfortable restaurant I went in there a short pants of paint stains all over them and nobody had a problem with it it's a casual dining it's clean the service was outstanding I didn't care that much for the seizure salad but overall it was outstanding and the grilled dolphin was over the top and the prices are extremely reasonable nice atmosphere that got inside and outside dining available“

We ordered the Cajun pasta and it was delicious, creamy and light, the sauce was delicious and it had smoked pork belly which enhanced the dish. I really liked this place and I’m looking forward to going back to try something new.“

Alex was our server, and from the moment we walked in, we received exceptional service. All of the staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Alex went above and beyond to make sure my family had a positive and memorable dining experience. We tried several different desserts, and all of them were spectacular. “The food and service are good. Conch appetizer and fish dip were good for 6 people. We had two bottles of wine. We liked the fair pricing on the wine. I put the fish at par but not over the top amazing. The only thing you should watch for is the hostess response coming in. "You don't have a reservation ". Which I did and then i showed them. They still looked at me like the enemy. Would I lie? I was just disappointed that they had no hint of "let's look for it ".“
“I am of Swedish ancestry and had a great talk with Waxin founder Patrick and his wife about my great grandfather coming over from Forslav Sweden in 1907. Guest top bartender Sante (also my GGF's name) in town from Stockholm made me a blueberry gin-tonic (with Swedish gin). Delicious surf/turf gourmet Swedish cuisine recommended by Patrick. At one point, I think I heard my GGF's spirit say Skål (which is cheers in Swedish). Noooo that was the bartender saying that!“
“Food was really good - tried several small plates (guacamole, empanadas, roasted oysters, and crunchy shrimp roll). All delicious, as were the churros for dessert! Very loud inside, so we ate outside but there was a lot of foot traffic that came by because tables are on the walkway between businesses.“

“We had lunch a couple of days ago. Menu seemed ok for lunch. I ordered the Fish of the day sandwich which was a mahi mahi. The description said lettuce and tomato. It came in a platter full of French fries which I can't eat. I asked for a substitute and stated neither the menu nor the server mentioned the fries. I was told the server will be right in. She never showed up. The sandwich was good. But I was dissatisfied.“

Roasting the mushrooms and pairing with a vibrant, tangy sauce drizzle would have made for a much better taco.I'd be interested in trying other things on the menu, as many people looked pleased and the reviews are quite good for this location. “Being a native of Florida and growing up around fishing, you know fresh fish when you have it. While every restaurant has the same old same old mahi and salmon, this place dishes out variety of groupers, snappers, hog fish, wahoo, corvina and on and on. Every dish is creative, fresh and delicious, including desserts! Can't go wrong with Food Shack!“
