“After making our reservation for the wrong day we showed up to no table for us. We were graciously offered bar seating and it actually turned out better than table service. This meal was far and away the best meal we had during our week in Key West. From the appetizer to the entree to the desert to the wine recommendation, everything was spectacular. “I was looking for a nice restaurant at a pretty good price in Key West and this place was perfect. Got some happy hour drinks and the Mahi mahi bites which were cooked perfectly. I’ve worked at the top seafood restaurant in my home state for 8 years and the Tuna Nachos and Tuna dinner platter were right on par with my home restaurant!! Great place and a great value! Would have preferred Caribbean music rather than country but that just a personal preference ?“
“Stopped in after 8 on a Thursday hoping to get a drink and bite at the bar. It was packed with a fun combination of locals and visitors and the host went out of his way to ensure we had drinks and watched over us until two seats opened up. Then we met Eric, who continued to provide the best service in town and did his best to make sure everyone at the bar knew each other. We shared a flavorful mushroom quesadilla and Caesar salad with mahi. The mahi mahi was so beautifully prepared it flaked apart with a fork, and the dressing was much lighter than the creamy version too many restaurants serve these days. Even with the wait at the beginning (get those reservations in!), it was a leisurely hour and a half of good food and wonderful company.“
“Great hidden gem in key west. Perfect atmosphere with a great sunset view and a little tucked away from the typically key west commotion. Service was excellent and food was great too. This is the perfect spot if you are looking for a quiet place to watch some boats go by and feel like you have a little slice of paradise all to yourself.“
“This was an amazing little spot to be on a beautiful day! We took our poodle, Jolie Fleur, to the dog beach and was told that the beach bar next to it was excellent and boy did we get some great information. We had cocktails on the deck and our Jolie Fleur was welcome as well. We weren't dressed to stay for dinner but the next time we are in Key West this us where we will have our dinner! Wonderful place!Parking: Street parking was all we could find but wasn't bad.“
“Amazing Amazing, Amazing ! There was not one thing about our dinner that wasn't absolutely perfect and delicious. Our server was attentive and so knowledgeable about everything on the menu. Our appetizer, our salads, the conch chowder just so delicious. The yellow snapper with mango and cucumber salsa, was so fresh and light, I never clean my plate and I didn't leave a crumb for my husband! We are usually in Key West once or twice a year and we will be back the atmosphere is fantastic too!“

“We came to Tavern N Town to celebrate my birthday. What a wonderful place! The menu was exceptional from small plates (steamed buns) to pizza to prime rib and seafood, and house-made desserts.
