“Listen, I’m not saying I’m obsessed, but second visit and I’m already planning my third. Nutwood in Lakeland just keeps delivering flavor punches straight to the taste buds like a cheerful boxer who really likes you. The Spanish octopus? Holy tentacle takeover. Tender, perfectly charred, I wanted to propose marriage to it right there at the table. It’s the kind of dish that makes you whisper “I’m not worthy” between bites while your dinner companion side-eye you. 11/10, would let it ruin all other octopus for me. And then… oh sweet green heaven… the Green Eggs and Ham. I’d never thought I’d say this in a grown-up restaurant, but Dr. Seuss himself would’ve dropped his hat and applauded: I would eat them here or there, I would eat them anywhere! I would eat them in a boat, I would eat them with a goat! I would eat them in Winterhaven town, Especially when Nutwood lays that green sauce DOWN! Say! “My wife and I enjoy eating at Culver’s, but I’ve recently had a couple of disappointments. We have been purchasing the pints of ice cream in their freezer to take home with us, only to be very disappointed when the ice cream inside is nothing like what it’s supposed to be.An example, my chocolate volcano was supposed to have different things in it , but when I ate it, there was nothing but chocolate custard in it no little M&M’s no chocolate pieces no cake no cookies no nothing. I I talked to one of the employees and explained everything and she was very polite and acted like I would maybe get a another one to replace it for free but once she went back to talk to the manager, he said no.. I was very disappointing especially when pints are like six dollars each. From now on My Wife and I will buy our ice cream at either Walmart or Publix . It’s a lot less expensive and you actually get what you pay for.“

“We ate here tonight after a long and satisfying day at Legoland with our kids. The food was on point. (Deluxe double burger and kids meals with vanilla and carmel pecan custards). I needed to specifically highlight the staff, who were super kind and patient with us and our small children; none of us knew the menu well, and they took time to answer our rookie questions without showing any impatience, esp on new year's eve a couple hours before closing. I wanted to also specifically highlight the black man who worked the counter tonight and took our order; he acted like he genuinely cared and took pride in what he does- I am sorry I dont remember his name, but he was fantastic in every way. I should have tipped him (I know tipping isn't required) and now I regret not. But the food, service, and cleanliness were all excellent. Thanks for making our last meal out of 2025 a really good one.“
