“We had a party of four. We made a reservation and got seated right away. Stefon was our waiter. He was very kind, friendly, courteous, professional and did an excellent job of serving us. Everyone’s food was great and the peanut butter pie was awesome.“

“I came this way to visit another restaurant when I noticed this place and said let me give it a try,now I have not been to a lot of Japanese restaurants so I really have nothing to compare it to,when I first walked in I was greeted by a very nice women,I chose to sit at a table instead of the bar,the tables are all sections with a light wall on either side,beautiful lighting and pretty soft Japanese music playing,the menu is put together like an expensive leather bound book,I ordered the miso and the fried oysters,miso was some of the best I have had with much seaweed and tofu,and perfect temperature,the oysters were very plump panko crusted,cooked to perfection,oysters were very moist while the outside was nice and crispy,I was told they were imported from Japan,later I had a spicy yellowfin sushimi roll that was Soo good,all the food was very well presented with a bed of colorful veggies and pretty plates,the waitress was very nice she told me the place had been there about 8 years,they are word of mouth with no advertising,do your self a favor and give them a go,and you can thank me later“

After reviewing what was somewhat close by and reviews, I chose Izumi. So happy I did. The food was wonderful as well as the staff, drinks, and entertainment. “Incredible hibachi!!! We had the combo and were very happy with it. Tried the strawberry and taro boba and they were both great but the taro was amazing - like a milkshake! Wish they offered mango or peach as well as brown sugar boba but that is our only suggestion! We will definitely be back!!“

“We've been here around 20 times in the last few years. We first started going just after COVID and they were shorthanded and they said to expect longer than normal waits for food and you could expect to wait 30 to 40 minutes for your food once ordered. We've been back twice in the last month and each time took an hour to get our food! I'm not sure whether it's staffing issues or what, but that length of time just does not seem reasonable for fried rice and sushi in my opinion. We drive 35 minutes across town to go to this place because we really enjoy their chicken fried rice and my wife loves their sushi, but to drive 35 minutes to then wait an hour to get food just doesn't seem like the trip is justified. We love the food so much we'll probably go back, I just hope that either there's more help or the timing of everything improves like it used to be.“
