“Wow! What a great experience, the second we walked in we were seated. Our drinks were good and fast, our server was amazing. The Outback roll is one of the top 2 best rolls I’ve ever had, the Seaweed salad and Miso soup were also a 10/10. It was very calm and peaceful as a setting, we will make this a weekly dinner.“
“I have had a few friends tell me good things about this place and I was equally impressed. This restaurant is very small and it's first come first serve as they do not take reservations. It has a nice contemporary japanese atmosphere. Our waitress, Emily, was lovely and extremely accommodating along with some excellent recommendations like the valentine roll. The sushi, folks, is some of the best I have had--and I eat sushi often and almost everywhere I travel. It's extremely fresh and they have some new bright ideas for rolls with contemporary presentations. Whatever you do, try the dragon balls -- a zany name for a delicious appetizer. Beer, wine as well as both hot and cold Saki are available. They also make some specialty drinks from Saki and wine. This is a do not miss if you are a sushi lover.“
“The food is great, specially the sashimi, they are alway fresh. The thai food is good too. I been here 3 times already and never been disappointed. Their lunch menu is different from weekend and week day FYI. We got potsticker, steam dumpling, 3 lunch dishes (those included miso and eggroll) and wonton soup. And try out their thaitea. For the area the prices are good.“
“Angus: The Epitome of Exceptional Service at KobesIf you've ever had the pleasure of dining at a hibachi restaurant, you understand that the experience extends far beyond just the food. It's a performance, a culinary journey, and above all, an opportunity for exceptional service to elevate the evening. In the realm of such service, Angus reigns supreme at KobesFrom the moment we were seated at our table, Angus's humor and professionalism set the tone for what would be an unforgettable dining experience. His welcoming smile and genuine demeanor instantly put us at ease, making us feel like honored guests in his own home. What truly set Angus apart, however, was his attentiveness to every detail of our dining experience. He anticipated our needs before we even realized them ourselves, ensuring that our drinks were always replenished and our every request was met with a smile. But it was Angus's genuine passion for hospitality that left the most lasting impression. He didn't just serve food; he created memories. Angus's enthusiasm was infectious, enhancing our enjoyment of the meal tenfold. In a world where exceptional service is increasingly rare, Angus is a shining beacon of hospitality. His dedication to excellence, coupled with his warm demeanor and undeniable skill, make him a true asset to Kobes. If you're fortunate enough to dine at this establishment, do yourself a favor and request Angus as your server. Your taste buds will thank you, and your heart will be warmed by the experience of dining with a true master of his craft.“
“I took my mother out on her birthday on April 2nd to this place after a friend of mine suggested it, and my word, did it truly exceed our expectations.Let's start with the atmosphere first, it felt like you were walking straight into Japan, from a nice koi pond up front to its cultural themes all the way up to the tables themselves, the people there were also extremely friendly as well greeting you with open arms, it is a great mix of American and Japanese cuisines combined. You can tell this place truly respects its Japanese roots and we were all for it. The tables also gave you the opportunity to socialize and make new friends along the way which was a nice touch as it's not everyday you get to see such a layout like this.Let's move on to the waitress and the chef for the evening. Our waitress was Hailey and our chef was Steven. They were both excellent people to be around, Hailey's enthusiastic attitude really says a lot about offering great service as she really loves her job and she always brings a smile to people's faces. As for Chef Steven, he really blew us away with his cooking skills, he had a great sense of humor as he entertained us with hilarious food centric jokes as he was cooking our meals, you can tell he had a blast with his job from start to finish, that's how great of a chef he was, he and Hailey were by far the best parts of our experience. Now we move on to the food. We ordered the Kobe Combo and the Sumo Special, and boy were they scrumptious! Chef Steven's presentations of our meals didn't disappoint at all, they were very well cooked and perfected to the core to get that mouth-watering taste, all their food options are nice, but the Kobe Combo and the Sumo Special were by far the best options they had to offer. Finally, let's talk about what they do for birthdays. They put cute little chef hats on top of you as a nice gesture, after that, it follows with the waiters, chefs and even the restaurant owners playing drums and singing in both English and Japanese to spice things up, last but not least, they serve a wonderful little cupcake, if you want to celebrate your birthday at a Japanese restaurant, this is the place to go!In conclusion, I highly recommend this place from the bottom of my heart. We most definitely look forward to returning a second time pretty soon when we get the chance.“
“We had been wanting to try this. It's a cute, small homey place. Most tables were full but we didn't have to wait to be seated. Service was very nice and food was good. With the dinner boxes, you get a decent amount of food for the price. Sushi fish tasted fresh. I would definitely go “
“The food is always fresh and delicious. The milk teas are amazing. The panda drink is an Oreo shake that is the best I've ever had. The staff is polite, respectful, helpful, and friendly. I can't say enough good things about this place. My family loves it!“
“Definitely try the sushi rolls! We had the JD roll, monster roll, and dynamite roll. ALL fresh tasting with good quality ingredients. I'm usually picky about sushi as I get really good rolls in NYC. This would def compare to anything I get there.“
“My partner and I have been here multiple times and have brought friends here as well. We always have fantastic food. The pho, ramen, sushi, you literally can't go wrong. I wanted to write this review about our server last night. My friend and I had dinner. Our server was working the whole front half of the restaurant by himself. Bussing tables, serving tables, checking out to go orders, making sushi, serving drinks, answering the phone. He was literally doing most of this stuff by himself. He was exceptionally kind and even though we had to wait a little (we didn't mind) it was great service. Unfortunately some people walked out because they felt it wasn't fast enough but at no point did I feel it was unreasonable. You could also see he genuinely felt horrible these people left. Our patience was rewarded with great service and great food. Always remember to have a little patience with people. You never know the full story. You may only see a small glimpse of the work that is being done.“
“Umu is a great spot in Wesley Chapel that has a very nice atmosphere and great service and was such an enjoyment all around. I got the Pad Thai and it was very delicious. Personally I don’t like spicy food at all and they were able to take out the spice level so that it was more enjoyable for me. This was a very good experience and I would recommend it to anyone in the area.“
“Very good option for all-you-can eat and traditional sit-down. Truly great service from the whole staff. Sushi is good on the all-you-can-eat eat menu but a little limited as you would expect. Entrees are exceptional though. Noodle dishes were banging. It's nice to finally have a place like this closeby. No need to go to Tampa anymore. PS. Very clean and well maintained bathtooms. LOLVegetarian options: They should certainly adapt for vegetarian. Very kind and attentive staff.Parking: Big commercial lot. Publix basically next door.Kid-friendliness: Overall casual and relaxed vibe. Kids welcome.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessible. Bathrooms are good size and private.“
“If I could give them a zero I would. My friend went there today and she was refused service because she has a skin disease called psoriasis. Shame on you all. You need to get educated the disease is not contagious I hope you and your ignorant staff learn some manners.“
“So this was my first time trying Tasty Ramen and I wanted to start by saying, this is absolutely delicious and colorfully bursting with flavor. I got the Choy Ramen bowl and mane was it good. It was bigger than I expected for the price and It was overwhelmingly tasty and full of so much flavor. Very filling and satisfying; Even the spring rolls tasted good, not greasy like most other Ramen places I’ve been to and no microwave texture, just a nice crisp golden look and a texture to match just that. I initially saw a lady outside with a bowl and that’s what attracted me to this place randomly walking around the Crate shops.“
“This place is AMAZING. If anyone out there likes Yamato Japanese Hibachi as much as I do, their yakisoba tastes the EXACT same here, at a much cheaper price. Steak was cooked excellently, and came out very fast. Cashier was also very kind. Will go again.“
“Best restaurant in the Krates! Any time I spot by the Grove I cannot resist getting Ato. The food is always, fresh and fast. I love the kiosks for ordering and building my own bowl. Their signature creations are awesome as well. A must try and don’t skip the teriyaki mushrooms! They enhance every bite. ?“
“Absolutely amazing! Poke Falls offers incredibly delicious poke bowls made your way. Ingredients are very fresh. This restaurant is super clean, organized, and inviting. They make the ordering process easy since they offer an order form for you to choose exactly what you want in your poke bowl. They also offer huge sushi rolls, too. Our service was fast and super-friendly. We enjoyed our meals here very much and we will be back again soon.Parking: Plaza parking“
“This place is one of the best sushi joints around. There’s always other southeast asian folks dining here so I assume it’s pretty authentic. Their eel is amazing. Their takoyaki is also very good. I highly recommend the dragon roll as well. The waitress is phenomenal she knows all her regulars and so do the chefs. Love this place.“
“Title: Sushi Avenue: A 12-Year Culinary Love AffairFor 12 years, Sushi Avenue has been my sushi sanctuary. With its fresh fare, impeccable service, and wallet-friendly prices, this spot in Tampa never disappoints. Whether you're a sushi veteran or a newcomer, it's a must-visit destination.“
“Excellent and perfectly cooked meals. They are always consistent with the portions and the flavor.I love that their fried rice does not have onions. Their yummy sauce is very good, always consistently made.We typically eat the same meal every time (hibachi chicken with fried rice/white rice). I wish I could say that one day we will try everything but we are very much creature of habit. The place is very clean and the employees are always happy.“
“This place has never been a let down. The sushi deluxe and and sashimi deluxe hands down still my favorite! The quality and the taste are on point! Also Anna is always welcoming and has such a good energy, she makes the experience even better!“
“Food was good but the service we received was excellent! Our waitress was really nice and took good care of us and the food came out really fast. I would definitely recommend this place. We got here kind of early for dinner and the place was nice and clean and quiet.“
“The Best Sushi-grill locations I have ever been to. Words cannot describe how fresh the food is. So delicious. You have a choice from a variety of different cooked or premium sushi rolls and amazing Hibachi meals. Everything on the menu is worthy. The service is magnificent. Very fast n friendly. We plan on returning again and again!“
“Traveling through Tampa. We liked everything overall. The waitress/hostess Lacey was absolutely wonderful! Crab ragoon wasn't crispy as we expected, but decent. Saturday special on sushi! Buy 1 get 1 half off. Fried rice- shrimp & veggie were delish. Minus the shrimp. Both rice & sushi shrimp was over cooked & rubbery. Honestly still enjoyed meals, would come back if we were traveling Tampa again. Lacey is 5 stars!“
“we love this place and order at least once every 2 weeks. but I beg of you, please STOP putting the cold sushi on top of hot items in the same bag. The hot food basically cooks the food above it and it makes the sushi warm and not the ideal temp. otherwise we love the hibachi and sushi choices. We really do enjoy the place!“
“The food was terrific! The 4 of us all enjoyed our food. I ordered the dinner special of miso soup & 2 rolls (Viper Roll & Red Head Roll) with a side of eel sauce. Both were great. Although, I had a preference for the Viper Roll. I appreciated the lighting, which was bright on our table and dim elsewhere. Despite there being quite a few other people at the establishment, we felt we had an intimate dining experience.“
“Friendly owner, real Thai food, nice area. Recommanded! อาหารอร่อยเจ้าของร้านน่ารัก ดูแลดีมากๆค่ะ ใครผ่านมาที่นี้แนะนำให้แวะทานข้าวกันนะจ๊ะ“
“I have never been let down whenever we come to Yamato. The service is always on point and even when we choose the dining option rather than the show option, they treat you just as well. The food is always flavorful and the drinks are amazing! Shout out to Mike as well, one of the best and most attentive servers!“
“This place is TOP TIER! Me and my wife LOVE their food.We eat the Macaroni Salad like no tomorrow! This is a family owned business which I truly admire! The welcoming from their little kids show how great the business is!I would HIGHLY recommend this place. Especially when the prices are very affordable!“
