“New owners and the name is changing to Kirin. One thing that hasn’t changed is the best Chinese food in south Florida. We had hot and sour soup, lobster with ginger and scallions, Peking duck and beef chow fun. The dishes were all excellent. I hope the new owners are successful as I can’t wait to go back even though it’s a 22 mile drive from home. They don’t have their liquor license yet so bring your own for now.“

“This place keeps showing up as a place to try. I decided to see what the fuzz was all about. It is not a restaurant as in the way we are used too. It's a take out place. It is small inside and it gets crowded. You don't want to eat inside. There are a few chairs inside but they are for waiting, not eating. The waiting is not long. The menu is posted on a wall and there is a counter where you can view some of the things the place has. The food is sold by the pound and it's cash only here.
I read some of the reviews. They all recommended the crispy pork. I got some and lived it. It was crispy. The honey roasted pork, I thin that is what I got. I liked too and I got other things that I can't name now. It's a great place to try new things.
The service is efficient. I suggest you know what you want before stepping up to the counter. The counter moves fast.“

“This is close to where I live and the food is tasty and made to order. I like the soup and the veggie fried rice. The lady at the counter is very friendly and they are easy going to speak to and get straight to business when you place an order. It is right off 441 across the street from the wal-mart. I will continue to buy from them, the kitchen looks big and clean and the place has chairs to sit and wait for your order. I would only suggest installing a T.V. so people have something to do while they wait.“

We waited about 45 minutes for the food to come to the table, and then were told that one of the orders was sold out, which was odd being that we were there for an early dinner at 3:30pm, and the restaurant was not very busy. Definitely a great restaurant to go to if you are shopping at Sawgrass Mall.“

“The dessert took longer to get to the table than the food. They did take it off the bill but not what I was looking for nor is it a fix to the issue. The waiter was hardly seen and when he was (which was not often enough) it was bad timing - Mouth full of food, he's asking if everything is okay. It was a nice place though. Food was great.“

“Just visited my BFF of 40 years and we learned Lotus has moved as we always dined here when they were in Wilton Manors. OMG…it’s better than ever!! We were so impressed that we visited 3 times during my 12 day stay. They have a beautiful new restaurant, a young, fresh FRIENDLY staff, and the owner visits each table and engages with every customer. Food is even better than before and portions are huge!! Lotus is also very LGBTQ friendly…just as they were in Wilton Manors. Highly recommend!!!! Five stars!!“

“First time at Asahi Chinese & Japanese Restaurant. Ordered ahead for pickup. Order was ready real quick. The staff was friendly and cashed me out fast. We got the shrimp lomain and the bourbon chicken dinner specials with wonton soup and egg rolls. Everything was packed good and their was no spillage. The food itself was fair. Everything was bland and lacked flavor. On the good side, nothing was oily and portion size was reasonable for the price. Maybe next time we will have to ask them to spice things up a bit. :)“

“I found nothing wrong with the place, perhaps issues trying to order because of accent and all, but it shouldn't be a problem if you are patient enough. Food is great, absolutely, amazing matter of fact, so is the service. Had no issue with them, they are all kind and welcoming. You usually don't see a horde of people inside, maybe a few waiting for their meals, so its a very quiet and comfortable place. I'd reccomend it. There is a family combo that cost us about less than 40, which is pretty generous if you ask me, fed my family of four and we couldn't even finish it.“

“Soup dumplings were good. Also had the pan fried dumplings which were good but on the pricier side.

The noodles with brown sauce in my opinion was a bit too much on the salty side. The Taiwanese beef noodle soup while tasting good, had too few noodles to justify the price.“

“Stopped here for a quick lunch yesterday while running some errands and so I'm happy I did. Tokyo Peking Express is located in Tamarac in the Publix plaza that has Xfinity. The restaurant feels very comfortable with nice seating, large tables and great lighting. You take your order at the front register and wait until they bring your food out to you. Everything is made fresh to order. I ordered the lunch special (sesame chicken, pork fried rice and an egg roll). I also ordered fried wantons and two cans of coke. One thing is for sure you will need to go boxes because it is a lot of food. I was also pleasantly surprised that even when I took some food home with me it still tasted fresh and warm. All and all I recommend Tokyo Peking Express if you are looking for great Chinese Food in the Sunrise/Tamarac area.“

“Coming from New York City, I've had many Peking Duck dinners but this was among the best I've had. Crispy skin, tasty duck with the right add-ons and served beautifully. We started with all three soups - wonton, egg drop and hot and sour. Then assorted dim sum and shrimp fried rice. All were hot and tasty. We ordered dry fried string beans but they never came. The waitress was spectacular but I unfortunately don't remember her name. Definitely will return!“

I had Wonton soup, Moo Shu Pork and an appetizer of eggrolls. the downside is they had no crispy noodles to munch on while we r waiting for our food, and the dinner did not come with eggrolls, or with real authentic fried rice, only brown or white rice. im a big fan of NY style fried rice and it was disappointing, however I could have ordered a side of pork fried rice for $14. overall since the food was excellent I would highly recommend Red Ginger. “Best lunch special I've had in a while! My regular Chinese Spot is closed on Tuesdays so I called King Chef instead. It was $15 for the meal, delivery and a little over 20% tip. Delivery didn't take long at all. I got the honey garlic chicken with the sauce on the side, so the chicken was nice and crunchy, pork fried rice was delicious, it was all still piping hot and somehow the Pepsi was still ice cold. Honorable mentions: The portion was huge and the girl on the phone was extremely helpful and patient. Honestly this is exactly what I needed. They exceeded my expectations and definitely have themselves a new regular!“

“My wife and I stayed at a local Ft. Lauderdale hotel after our cruise. We saw a menu for the China House restaurant at the hotel. We ordered the "A" Family Pack for lunch which contained:\n2 Egg Rolls, 1 quart of egg drop soup, 1 quart of chicken fried rice\nchicken with broccoli and General Tso's chicken. We didn't realize what a HUGE amount of food we would receive for $25.95!!!\nAll the items were delivered quickly and so hot we had to wait for the soup to cool before we could eat it. We also had so much food left over we ate it again for supper. The food and delivery prices were more than reasonable. The food from this restaurant is exceptional and I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again.“

I order chicken and vegetables from the special diet menu with spicy white sauce and it is AMAZING. Sometimes I come several days in a row. It is so simple and fresh and I always feel safe knowing it is consistent and the restaurant is clean and accommodating.“

I used to not like Chinese food, but I gave crazy wok a try cause of my roommate’s recommendation, and omg I am addicted.
