“Isekai is a small, friendly, family-run operation with a creative menu and top-quality ingredients. This was the first place I found in Tampa that offers toro (fatty tuna) and real wasabi. Everything I’ve tried on their menu so far, from sushi and onigiri to tempura, gyoza and chicken karaage, has been top notch. They also serve coffee, tea and boba drinks - my favorite is the Mango Passionfruit Tea with the mango chunks in the bottom. The atmosphere is cute and casual, with anime art and two screens showing anime and live action food or music videos. There are also tables available outside. I highly recommend this place.“

“My husband and I are frequent diners at Rice and Spice, pretty much regulars, we have been visiting this restaurant for over 2 years and every time we are 100% happy and satisfied with the food, the service, the ambience. They never cease to amaze us with their menu. Tonight we ordered a new dish that is not in the menu yet and it was absolutely delicious. If you like curry, which i do not care for curry - but this was exceptional. The name is Ka-Mu-Panang. I also had a new dessert - made of coconut, bananas. and mango. Because it was a new item it hasn't been named yet - so we called it CoBango, the owners were also naming it different things and still no name when we left. Typical visit as part of the fun going there is feeling like going to family- the owners are very we;coming and family oriented. Love the place!“

“My husband and I wanted to try a new Sushi spot so we landed here. We couldn’t have been more happier that we did. We did the all you can eat ordered fresh each time from the menu. We tried several rolls and ate so much sashimi. It was all delicious! We also loved their salad buffet w/kani salad being my favorite and my husband loved the squid salad. And don’t forget the desserts. Fried bananas in honey for him and fried cheesecake for me. Besides the food being amazing we had the pleasure of Tani (like the color that nobody knows is a color lol, her words) being our server. Great personality and just completely on top of it!! “While taking a break from U of Tampa move in weekend, we were looking for a place to eat after some shopping. Kelp came up. It was a lot an hour before they closed. Staff was very friendly and kind. Our server answered all of our questions and made accommodations when we asked. Good was delicious. Such a great selection of unique rolls. They put their own touch into their menu.

“Very nice place, seems very popular. Many appetizers both hot and cold to choose from. There was also many entrees and a large sushi menu. We ordered 5 rolls that was more than plenty to eat. It did not come out all together on a boat style plate like you see at many sushi restaurants but on individual plates because each roll had it's own accent sauce to it. Very delicious. Our server Heather was very attentive as well as the rest of the staff. We will be back.“

“I love Koizi! My friends and I have been going here for ages in a tradition to always get the endless and have dinner together. The endless is pretty decent—they have a good-sized menu with some variety. One drawback for me is that they don't have too many vegetarian options, but they will always alter a menu item if you ask for it. The service is always nice, and I've never had anyone rush us or try to get us out the door. I love their fried rice—it's one of my favorite things, and I eat a bunch of it every time I come! Overall, it's a pretty decent sushi place with plenty of seating and not too long wait times“

My waiter did the best he could between waiting tables, bartending, and handling pick up orders I felt it was a bit much, and the wait in between drinks, food, and check out was unenjoyable. Will I be back, yes because I like the sushi but hopefully management can take this into account that service is lackluster and needs to improve.“

You shouldn’t disrespect your customers, like that. You could’ve left that part out because it screams cheap and mediocre. Elevate or just don’t serve it with your opinion of a salad. Thanks.“

“We got seated and chef thought it was funny to bark like a dog while chopping up the meat. I was so discussed. I have been to Asia and saw the dogs hanging in the market it was awful and I have 3 Chinese children. I spoke to Manager who seemed to blow me off like eating dog is normal. Do you serve dog? Hope not remember this is American. My family left I could not eat after that and it’s not funny to pretend to be chopping up a dog.“

Our drink order was taken, then we ordered appetizers. We had edamame and spring rolls. Both were very good! Then we ordered 3 different sashimi’s and maguro. “I've been going to HoHo Choy since the location on Ehrlich was open. It closed about 20 years ago. Fletcher is the original, and it's still the best.

No one does giant, stretchy, delicious sesame + sweet red bean dimsum like they do. Daikon cakes are perfect. I make rice at home but sometimes... I need their veggie fried rice with extra bean sprouts.

Yeah, the krab rangoon are quite good. They aren't bready or weirdly sweet and cake-like on the outside, the way some places make them. The outside is crisp and folded into squares for a pocket of filling. But that's really low on the list of what I go for.

I know some people don't like how long something takes but the wait is worth it. They run a small restaurant, not a McDonald's. That's why the food comes out so well.

I've never seen many people eating in the dining room. It's open and calm, very basic layout and minimal decor- which to me, means a lot more cleaning. Ick. HoHo Choy keeps it simple. Take-out is made to order. Try something you've never had before! Try the dimsum menu!“
