I had the Cilantro light green rice 🍚 which I never had before, It was so tasty 😋 and the waiter named Javier was very friendly and kept checking on us to see if we needed anything, n asking, is all good... Our lunch price was $45, only because we just landed 🛩 from a 5 hr flight n we were hungry.. We did order appetizers on the side. Cilantrillo Bacalaito and Empanadas 🥟 are delicious. “Hands down the best oyster place in Orlando. Inly downside is It’s a small restaurant and it’s not fancy or too appealing inside. But that all adds to the theme. If you sit at the bar you can get the bucket specials which is a great deal on oysters and they chuck it in front of you. The oysters are always fresh, great tasting, and big in size. Other than the oysters, the peel and eat shrimp steamed and wings are delicious.“

“Arrived just after 5 on New Years Eve. The place was hopping , but not in a frantic way. Was seated at kind of an odd table for 2 in the middle of 4 larger table. Surprisingly so, it wasn't particularly loud and my wife and I were able to carry on our pleasant conversation. Service was on point all evening. Our waiter was outstanding. He juggled our table as well as multiple larger tables flawlessly. He made us feel that we were equally as important as the larger tables he was serving. Food was delicious and perfectly prepared. Pace was good, but not rushed. I thoroughly enjoyed my Filet and Lobster tail while my wife praised the taste of the chicken breast and sides. We finished the evening with a delicious slice of Key Lime Pie“

“Hands down the best seafood I have had in a very long time. I was lucky to try this great food at a food truck Friday. The chicken and shrimp, my wife and 3 year old enjoyed. I went with the shrimp and crab. It was amazing. Fresh cooked to order. It came with potatoes, sausage and an ear of corn all smothered in this amazing homemade butter.I could go on and on about how great this meal was. And normally I don’t write about food, but this deserves 5 stars and more.I hope they are back in my town again next month because I really want to try the lobster.Great customer service and great people all around. “We visited Kes Chophouse for my wife's birthday, and the experience was memorable. The service was attentive, with our waiter clearly explaining menu options and providing excellent wine service; he even waited for my wife to confirm her choice before pouring. Portions were larger than expected, and the menu printed with the current date added a nice touch. My wife loves steak, which made this the perfect spot for her celebration. I don't eat steak or seafood, but with the waiter's guidance I chose the pork chops with pork belly, which were outstanding. The small details, like the table being cleaned between courses, made the evening feel special. Overall, a unique and enjoyable dining experience.“

“Papa Llama, 2840 Curry Ford Road, Orlando- 4-Stars Michelin Recommended- Bib Gourmand! Peruvian immigrants, Kevin and Maria Ruiz, say they founded Papa Llama in 2016 as an experimental pop up and opened the doors of this location in August 2020. In 2022, they earned the Michelin Guide's coveted "Bib Gourmand" award for establishments that serve good food at reasonable prices so naturally, I got excited. Paulina, my server, was well prepared and knowledgeable, making for an auspicious beginning in a gorgeous environment featuring good prices for dishes that could be made to satisfy both carnivores and herbivores alike. I ordered the entire family style menu which was, according to Papa Llama, "designed to be tasted together, shared, and fought over." So much food for just over a hundred dollars. The prices may have been cheap but the taste and quality of (most) victuals valieron un Perú! A hearty Big Boy Thank You (Sulpayki!) to Kevin and Maria and the culinary dactylograms of their ancestors, on this amazing cuisine (Somaq Mihuna!). The first item on the menu was Olives--whole green Castelvetrano olives marinated in house with aji panca--which were so delectable I could eat them all day. Next, the Red + Gold Beets, a minty beet salad with honey ají amarillo vinaigrette, queso fresco, and candied pistachio, which started out smooth and creamy and ended with a pleasantly piquant bite. Papas a la Huancaína followed, a fingerling potato dish with spicy aji amarillo cream, wakatay (black mint) salsa verde, and beef chicharron, topped with a fried egg. The potatoes themselves were not the star, but the combination of flavors in the sauce were amazing, unctuous but smooth. Papa Llama carries a long list of natural wines, more wines than food items, actually. That evening, I chose the Yuzu Sake, and may I say, "Holy smokes!" How refreshing after consuming so many peppers. The rest of the dishes I would give 4.5 to 5-Stars, EXCEPT for the side of frozen Sysco French fries which almost ruined an otherwise stellar meal. There are over 300 kinds of potatoes in Peru. Over 300! Perhaps in the United States we don't have the same abundance as found in El Valle Sagrado (the Sacred Valley) but, por favor, do not stoop to this! The Big Boy says, "Eat here. All the authentic Peruvian flavors at Papa Llama are 5-Star, but skip the fries, which are a corporate conglomerate frozen food disappointment."“

“One of our favorite restaurant chains! We've never had less than an ideal experience at The Capital Grille. We dined in the bar coz it was the NFL Playoffs. Angelina took good care of us. We had drinks and a nice tuna tartare appetizer to kick things off. For entrees, we each had one of their signature dishes: pan-seared Ahi tuna filets with jasmine-ginger rice. So good! It's like a filet mignon from the sea. The Capital Grille is a must dining destination.“
