“Hell yeah I recommend them. I am here on business with a client and when I travel, like to sample local hole in the wall places. So I come in JCs and they serve their seafood cooked in a bag. They throw all kinda of seafood as well as corn potatoes and sausage. I had a half pound bad each of corn and sausage with egg as and rice and for those of you who know me and know I eat, this more than filled me. Be sure you come in wearing trashy clothes as they also throw various sauces in to the bag and steam and cook it. They give you a bib and wipes and you WILL need them Also, I was waited on by Jaime who gave awesome service. I hadn’t eaten at this type of restaurant before and she won’t make you feel like a goober for asking questions. Very courteous and professional. I am likely to be coming to Mary Esther each spring for several years to come. You can bet your sweet bippy I will be coming back when I do! It sounds like it’s a western panhandle chain but you would do wonders coming to DUUUVALLL!“

“Great service, Good food and variety, Fast Service! We were able to find something different for 2 adults, a teenager, a toddler, and a baby. For pricing reference - 3 sodas, 2 appetizers, 3 lunch entrees, 1 side, 1 small soup, 1 large soup, 2 specialty sushi rolls, and 1 avocado roll for $125.“

“I'm torn on recommending, honestly. We've eaten here twice with the 1st time being good and the 2nd time (tonight) being terrible! My son couldn't even eat half of his burrito and my chicken quesadilla had entirely too much cheese to the point it was basically just cheese! I removed as much of the cheese as I could. The middle aged lady that made ours this evening spoke way too fast to be able to understand her, lacked personality, and just slapped the dinner together without any care. The 1st time (when it was good), the younger blonde lady was super nice and did a great job at making our dinner that night. My son actually craved the burritos after the 1st night. After tonight...not so much!! They are a bit on the expensive side, as well.“

“My family and I LOVED Stewby’s! Definitely our favorite restaurant so far on our vacation! My husband got shrimp, I got the fried grouper, and our three kids all got the chicken fingers. “ABSOLUTELY PERFECT AND SO DELICIOUS! My son is obsessed with the show Trash Truck but hard to find! I knew these cakes were delicious so I stopped in to order a small round cake and cupcakes. I told her just to do shades of green or blue cause I knew it would be delicious so just wanted the round for the topper I ordered. She told me she would check the show out and I sent her pics of the topper. She was super helpful on what to order! Again I did not really expect a very detailed cake just matching colors because I picked her mostly for taste. Best frosting I have ever had!! You guys…I went to pick up the cake and when she opened the box to show I had tears in my eyes. Wayyyy more than I expected and was absolutely perfect! Could not recommended more!!“

“I love this place! First Korean restaurant I ever ate at (back in 2003ish), and been going back ever since. I liked a Korean restaurant in Germany too, but no other place I've tried (about 20 others) has compared. The owner always remembers me, my family, and my friends. We don't even need a menu, she knows what food and drinks we want and lets us know if there's something special to try that day, like the seaweed soup.“

My favorite is the Blueberry and I was happy to enjoy a pumpkin beer as well! A flight is also available if you want to try out their beers! Kyle served us and was friendly and knowledgeable about the beers! We saw a few people come with their dogs, and the Props cats are a nice addition!“

“This was our first time and everything was amazing! The food was delicious! We had the wings, empanadas, and hummus for appetizers! We also had the lasagna, a burger, and the GI Jade special pizza! All of the ingredients tasted super fresh! We loved the outdoor seating atmosphere! Our server was CJ and he was a pleasure! So fast and accurate with our orders and so friendly! We loved getting to listen to the live band Paradise Vale as well! 100% recommend!“

“If you’re anywhere near the pier, run — don’t walk — to Anglers Beachside Grill. My son and I stopped in and had one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. The food was incredible, the atmosphere was fun and lively, and the service… top-tier.

A huge shoutout to Salvador and Jodi, who absolutely went above and beyond for us. They made us feel like family from the moment we sat down. We bonded instantly over football trash talk — I’m an Ohio State fan, while Salvador proudly represents that team up north (and yet, we still got along 🤣). Their personalities, attention to detail, and genuine kindness were the highlight of our visit.

As for the food — wow. My son ordered a burger that he said was the best he’s ever had, served with french fries that were golden, crisp, and perfect. I ordered the chicken breasts with Cajun cream sauce, succotash, and hush puppies that deserve their own moment of appreciation. Easily the best hush puppies I have ever had in my life. Light, crispy, flavorful — I could have taken home a bucket.

The restaurant sits right on the pier, with a relaxed, beachy vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. Between the incredible service, amazing food, and unbeatable location, this place is an absolute win.

We’ll definitely be back — even if Salvador continues rooting for the wrong team 😉

“I’ve been there a couple of times. The food and service is good. I think they’re very close to being awesome. My only complaint for the Shrimp and Grits is the shrimp are obviously frozen farmed, and small. The grits and biscuits are very good and well seasoned, they need bigger, fresher shrimp to make it a high quality dish. Definitely a popular place and I need to try some other meals.“
